The fnaf community was just vibing in their normal pit of hell, then this man comes in and decides to speed run the franchise’s main games, fan games, and overall just brought a breathe of fresh air into the scene. He’s brought so many iconic moments to the fandom

We've reached a time period when FNAF's fan games are less glitchy and much more well made than the actual FNAF and I'm not complaining
well I mean without fnaf we wouldnt have this but I agree that it is better than security breach
I love how "FNAF fan games" became such a popular concept....it makes me remember back then, when fnaf was a obscure indie horror title that only a few people knew about.

You might want to give Loaf a little cavelike hideaway that's similar to the boxspring but more accessible to you. I typically put a blanket over a cardboard box and leave a corner open so the cat can crawl in and out. They like to be hidden from view but still present, like adorable, creepy little lurkers. Anyway thanks for telling us about Loaf, you are a hero.

Loaf's at his parents for now. Spiff is allergic to cats so he wanted a break from the constant allergies.
I have discovered my cat has done that with almost every piece of furniture in my house so I I guess this is a good solution
What we did for our cat was get a dog bed (the kind with tall around walls) and drape her favorite blankie over the top! The only downside is that- even if she can tuck herself in perfectly fine on her own- if we're nearby she'll tap her bed and cry until one of us tucks her in properly :'3

As a cat owner myself, there is an option in windows that lets you change power button function instead of click/hold to shut down into just simply not doing anything, Turning on works as it does normally, maybe that can help you with the Loaf problem :D
But loafs commonly don't do anything
Yeah I had to do this before because my laptop was falling apart and pressing certain parts on the laptop hit the power button... as well as using the charger... so yeah not fun
Tbh I don't usually watch speed runs unless they are commenting over it in editing since they are usually boring if not completely quiet but your ability to run competently while providing decent commentary is amazing. Love the work
To be clear I am not saying that other speed runners are bad/boring. I'm saying it as a means to say that I personally don't find them entertaining since entertainment is entirely subjective and my brain prefers more active content
I feel like another thing about Spiff is that most of his runs are chaotic as all hell. Like. Just. Sprint-less. Need I say more???
@@imfurrytrash6769 Yeah, no, Spiff's just a damn good streamer as well as a speedrunner. A lot of speedrunners are kinda eh at entertaining while running (which makes sense cause it's bloody difficult and often just not what they specialize in.) That Spiff can do both so well at once is real cool.
For something call “the glitched attraction” there seems to be a small amount of glitches

Is it just me, or are these videos like the best thing ever to study to? I love to line up a few in a playlist and work for like 6 hrs straight on my game design
In the careful balancing of my attention span, my brain can only handle light music while still being able to study. Anything more, and I'll just be stuck reading the same line over and over or something
They’re great for art/design/media homework. The amount of speedruns I’ve watched while concepting designs is probably stupidly high.

Yeah ive gotten a couple scam calls
Both were weirdly right in the middle of a match during Splatfest
Both tried to convince me of something that supposedly happened a while ago
First was a guy saying i won a raffle at a mall for a vaction (i dont think ive ever done a raffle and ive certianly never done one at a mall) so i was like, "no, im not looking for a vacation"
The second was a lady claiming she was with Delta airlines (it was so laughably obvious to me cos last time i took a flight was around mid 2021) and i said "honey i havent been on a plane since--" i then heard her hang up lol
I’ve finally found someone else that collected the baby bell wax. When I was younger, I used to make tiny sculptures out of the wax. I would hoard it in my desk too, and because in primary school, we each had a tray, mine always had a huge ball of wax in the corner. It got to the point where I was getting weekly tray inspections and forced to throw out all my wax because it begun staining my workbooks. I don’t blame them now, but back then I was so upset that my coping mechanism for concentrating was just seen as trash. Even now, my grandparents have one of the shitty sculptures in their candle case, where it has survived heatwave after heatwave that most of the other candles haven’t over the years. It’s cool that someone else collected that shit.
Now all I can think about is making a candle out of the wax
even at 20 I too use small wads of babybel wax as stim toys, cuz they don't break down nearly as fast as 'thinking putty', and it's so much cheaper to replace

Honestly dude that police story sounds like an attempted scam. Unless you’re in a police station or a court you shouldn’t be paying any sort of bail/fines/fees. Someone claiming to be a police officer calling you and saying you’ll be arrested unless you pay a fine right now is usually a scam.

At least in the U.S, unexpected calls from "police" are completely unwarranted and almost always a scam. If they need you (granted you're not already involved and expecting phone calls), they'll go to your house personally. I'm not sure how this applies in Canada, but if common sense told me anything, there is a reason in-person visits are standard over phone calls, and I can't imagine the logic could be any different over there.
@@ozvoid1245 even in person visits can be from a bought police uniform. Here in the UK, I remember a case of a guy trying to lure a girl into his car while in a police uniform.

13:55- my cat did the same thing! Unless Loaf doesn't have extra visits coming up, it might be worth it just get a boxcutter and slice out the bottom fabric, if you don't want to disassemble it every time... My cat got so much use out of the bed-hammock that she eventually wore the fabric enough for her drop through. She was VERY upset that her hidey-hole betrayed her lmao

I've been watching these speedrun VODs in bits throughout the past few days as a comfy decompressing distraction and I'm stoked that the perfect run happened after hours of cycling. Even if it's only temporary, congrats on reclaiming the record on this really cool game!

This is kinda niche, but your videos are really good to put on while I shiny hunt. Shiny hunting pokemon, like speedrunning, is grindy, and requires a lot of patience to do. Shiny hunts can take days, weeks, months or even years. For instance, shiny hunting a cyndaquil took me 6 months. (it was totally worth it tho, bc it was a birthday gift for my mom and I really wanted to get it before my wrist surgery)
I usually like to put something on that I can watch while shiny hunting (particularly with soft-resetting hunts) because there's barely anything going on aside from triggering the event, hurriedly checking if it's shiny, and soft resetting if it's not. Speed is actually important in shiny hunts because the faster you see the pokemon, the more encounters you get and the easier it is to find a shiny.
Sorry for rambling, I realized there were a lot of similarities between shiny hunts and speedrunning and I wanted to share :)

It’s nice to see you taking interest in this game! Have you considered doing a 100% speedrun? I know part of it would probably be a hassle with all the jumpscares and what not, but it’d be fun to see you go for Lord of Stamina :)
I think dying resets your progress on a few things, like buttons. So including the jumpscares would be impossible.
That doesn't make it impossible, it just means you would have to get all the jumpscares in a level and then do the buttons.

At 14:00, Spiff mentions his cat tunneling inside the box spring. My cat did that as well and it was obnoxious because he'd only do it while I was trying to sleep.
The explosion sounds in the fnaf 3 part are the same as the explosions from Half Life and I love that

The diagonal movement thing can be fixed with a single line of code (or less if you really want to for some reason), taking less time to patch than it saves in the run. I’m surprised it’s even there.

the cat thing is the reason my old boxspring had a leather bottom, they couldn't scratch through it, but just in case under it was a layer of twine fed corner to corner overlapping to keep them out.

I’m realizing that, for this game’s fan lore, they are saying that Fazbear Entertainment is not only trying to cover up all the incidents of their past with an attraction, but the fire for their previous attraction to accomplish the same thing (FNAF 3) was burned from a generator malfunction and not Michael’s arson

I just had a dream that they came out with an irl FNAF attraction and you were, like, hosting it
Dunno what dream shenanigans got me in the room, but I ended up being one of the people picked up and carried around the room while you talked about it, you were also in the machine but suspended higher, in a little room, and not being moved around
They had stopped building it before it was completely finished for whatever reason, but the room was really cool and atmospheric and some animatronics were done and displayed on the left side, the only one I remember being circus baby
