Watching these predictions is HILARIOUS because I’m watching it for the first time in 2024. Karl’s glasses prediction is spot on.

literally the only fault with the animations is that they made Munchies as a packet of crisps instead of the chocolate 😥
I could be wrong but I'm sure he meant a packet of munchies as in the monster munch crisps. That's why he said there are only like 12 in a packet, they are big crisps. He has talked about monster munch many times and I think he just abbreviates it because he eats them so often. Me and my friends have called them packets of munchies as well in the past when referring to the crisps. Also on "An Idiot Abroad" Karl takes multiple packets of monster munch with him every time and I'm sure he calls it a packet of munchies at least once or twice. Could be wrong but I'm going to go by the idiot abroad series where he kept taking packets of monster munch on every trip and I cant remember seeing him eating bags of munchies chocolates at any point.(th-cam.com/video/DFi1RqI2DHs/w-d-xo.html)
i understand what you are saying but i know with 100% certainty he means the chocolate. also in the video you linked here, he refers to them as a "packet of monster munch". and not a packet of munchies like what you are suggesting.@@itsjustdamian . also you can get the munchies in either a packet where you get like 12 in a pack (like a packet of starburst, this shape), or a bag too. In the podcast he also mentions about putting 4 in his mouth before he even thinks about it. with 4 munchies this is easy to do. with monster much.. not so. interesting argument though, ha.
And Karl mentions biting off the top of a munchie, as in the chocolate. You obviously can’t do that with monster munch.

That's the thing with Karl. Ricky and Steve know the idea of "who is the original?" But it's the way Karl can't formulate his thoughts to make sense at face value.

@@Omegaset The point of the show is entertainment. They know what he means but know he doesn't fully understand the point he is making. Rather than agreeing and moving forward, they press him for details which is where the humor comes from. It isn't a matter of critical thinking.

Yeah I agree. The clone would know only if he woke up in a facility. The original might think he is the clone who was programed to start moving and remembering at a specific point.
He could be in a room ready to meet himself and remembering the day he has had, but what if he just now woke up and had those memories implanted.
@@G50016 but now your talking about the highly unlikely... whether or not the original and clone have the exact same memories, an artificial lifeform can never compare to Gods natural because the human cell is IMPOSSIBLE to create...can only be imitated or modified...the original will have particular memories that literally couldn't be copied into the clone....those class of memories would be detrimental to knowing the difference between the clone and original in my opinion
Unless they both woke up in a lab, the one that has experienced the life will know.

Wow I never realized until now but at 2:56:15 Karl actually talks about a theory that became another part of a Black Mirror episode.
In the episode “Men Against Fire” the soldiers had their eyes modified to change what they see. When the main character returned home he saw a nice white picket fence, but in reality his house was decrepit and destroyed.

The melting clock painting is a metaphor, another clue. Time/space are an illusion. Furthermore time is relative. If one person is in conditions that are not pleasant, time will seem to pass slowly while the other person are in conditions that are pleasant, time seems to pass much faster.

I have listened to these so much, I have started to notice entire conversations that appear to be re-recorded from the XFM show. They say exactly the same things but it sounds different. I guess they did it to clean up the audio or something.
I agree mate.. I think It's because the xfm radio show was just a local radio station but they got so popular that they decided to make the podcasts where they chose the parts they thought was funniest I think and recorded it again in a more polished way... and then i think because the podcast became so huge they were then able to make this tv show so Ive wondered myself how much of these are re-recorded again or were just literally taken directly from the podcasts and then had animation put over it and a few extra bits added here and there to make them into their own thing. Its either they did that or they just had the same conversations 3 times lol. Alot of parts of this are almost identical to the podcasts word for word so I think the podcasts were the re-recorded conversations from the radio shows and then this is mostly copied from the podcasts. That's just my theory though but Id love to know how they did do it. The animation for this really does make it so much funnier at times though.
@@itsjustdamian Hahah is right lad, I was 99.9% positive I was correct, but one tiny bit of doubt remained. I listen to this show every single day, it all becomes a blur. I usually stick to the XFM show because it's on Spotify, but when I treat myself to the animation, I notice it every now and again. Glad to know I'm not going mad!
Also glad that my head's still not caved-in from listening to Karl every day for years, and we're still not chatting to yoghurts

The white noise technique does actually work, Wayne Rooney and my younger brother do that trick with the hairdryer, supposedly it somewhat replicates the sounds coming from within the mothers womb and therefore helps you sleep like a baby, same with rain too.. apparently my mothers heartbeat sounded like a bald manc

"How would I know which one I was" Is a great point made by Karl and they call him an idiot, Rick & Morty presented this in their clone episodes xD
How would you get the mirror on the right side of the moon always facing earth = This is called "tidal locking." It occurs when the gravitational interaction between two bodies, in this case, the Earth and the Moon, causes one side of the smaller body (the Moon) to always face the larger one (the Earth). Meaning the mirror would always face earth and it would be the lunar phase (Full moon/half moon) which dictates how much of the mirror you'd see.

Ricky's presentation of the door problem is wrong. If knowing that the lying doorman guards hell, as Ricky said, you don't have to ask the normally correct question to identify the door to heaven. You could just ask any question that you know the answer to already.

You can’t look at it that closely. You gotta enjoy the show for what they were trying to accomplish, laughter, stupidity, and thoughts way outside the box
