Three great ones here. The Jetta and Mercedes are my favorite. The Silvia is decent too but I wish it didnt have black rims. The Subaru suffers from terrible rims - and actually looks better in the mainline release. The Civic - well I'm not keen on the livery. Also the EG looks a bit off to me. Maybe the wheels are too big? Hot wheels premium overall is great. My main gripe is the rims. Their alloys are nice but the ones that are other colors look very plasticky. Black and grey are okay but the rest..
I like the Mercedes-Benz limo best, which seems to be the majority opinion, but I also hope to find the Hello Kitty Civic since I'm both an anime/manga fan and I appreciate oddball licensed liveries, and it feels like a proper "itasha" (JDM cars with anime girl vinyls all over them) livery instead of just slapping a cartoon or comic book character on a van and calling it a day like with so many Pop Culture cars. Maybe we'll see some other Japanese characters popular on itasha cars such as Vocaloid Hatsune Miku or Rei Ayanami from Evangelion in the future. (I'd love to see much more than them on Hot Wheels but most of the anime I like are far too obscure in North America for Mattel to touch.)
I'm guessing that, if the Mercedes-Benz 280 SEL 4.5 ever showed up in the mainlines, the grille and bumper pieces would be retooled to be part of the plastic chassis.

I think the Merc is the same dark blue/black color used for the Bel Air gasser in the 50th favorites release.
The Mercedes color is called midnight blue.
Hard pass on Hello Kitty, the STI would be ok, but those wheels suck. Silvia is ok. That Jetta is very nice. I need the Mercedes! Great review.
Gold rims look great on a ton of cars...Not all but many.

I really like most of this set. I got the Subbie, Jetta, and Mercedes. The Sylvia doesn't do much for me and my least favorite is the Honda Civic.
