I love that all their songs sound similar. They’re so unique and I don’t think they should go a different route. Everyone does but I just daze when I listen to them. Everything seems so perfect yet so broken and numb. Works when I’m in a good bad or the worst mood ❤️❤️

Cigarettes After Sex is an American ambient pop band formed in 2008, from El Paso, Texas, founded by Greg Gonzalez. The band is known for their ethereal, limerent and often dream-like musical style, lyrics often based on the themes of romance and love, as well as Gonzalez's voice, described as "androgynous".[5] While marketed as an ambient pop band, Cigarettes After Sex are also considered to be shoegaze, dream pop and slowcore.
Greg's voice is INSANELY good.
This is Cigarretes After Sex. I think for now this is is their identity as a band. I don't think they would risk changing their song structures and all the general vibe of the songs. They are still building up their public solidly. For me it is great even if it is so similar to their other songs.
I legit thought this song was about his crush until I read the lyrics....
Song hits you differently when you are in love
Honestly, loved this band since I found them a year ago. I love the vibe of the songs and I am glad that they all sound similar instead of being all over the place and too different to know their style. Think about it.. most bands music sounds similar and they try to stick to a common vibe and theme. This is actually my new favourite song of theirs. :)
