I really enjoyed this episode because you rode where I have ridden. From Big Bend East to presidio and North to Marfa. From there you went west but we rode east to Alpine before heading back north to New Mexico, this made the video more. interesting.

Glad you enjoyed my home state of Texas. If I may recommend north to Alamogordo, then east up the mountain to Cloudcroft, it's a tourist trap little village but it sits at 9600 ft in altitude and is a great ride through the pines. South toward Sunspot is Bluff Springs, a small waterfall and also a nice ride. From there you can turn back north to Ruidoso then west back to the desert again to the Valley of Fires if you like. Safe travels.

We rode through Marfa on March 2, headed the opposite direction to Presidio and then to Big Bend. The wind that day was extremely NOT fun, but the geography was interesting, nevertheless.
We stayed that night at the Three Palms, and the wind sounded like we were sleeping under a jet engine, well into the night, complete with power outages. Fronds got blown off those palms into the pool.
I wasn’t ever expecting to see that hotel in a video, so was intrigued to see it in this one.
Next day was calm, and the road from Presidio to Big Bend was an amazing ride. We didn’t get to spend much time in the park itself, so are planning to spend a few extra days there, next year.
