To be the best conference (probably just below the power 4) the PAC 12 need to add UNLV, MEMPHIS, TULANE, UTSA, USF, U CONN and Temple. Additionally they should add 4 basketball only schools: Gonzaga, St.Marys, St. John's and Georgetown.
That conference would get the most TV revenue. Geography is not the play at this point. This would be a big boy conference.

Congrats to Oregon St and Washington St for getting a conference going, but I don't think Mountain West II will get the Pac added to the Power 4.

I don't think so because of the costs of travel to and from Hawaii. Hawaii can't even cover the cost of their own travel in just football and the MWC has to give them extra money and NCAA allows them to play 13 games to help them with costs for football. The Pac-12 wants UNLV, but the question is does Nevada has to come with them, does UNLV has the money to pay to exit fee out of the MWC, and they want to try to give MWC a chance to find new members to replace any schools that will drop them below 8 schools.
Hawaii is terrible in football. Wouldn’t add any value and Hawaii is a very small media market.
@@mathewblood5113 It's bigger than any other Mountain West team other than the ones that's leaving except UNLV. Like all these teams are power houses.
@@Reggie-n8l and that’s precisely why UNLV is probably the only other school the PAC 12 really wants to add. The others just don’t add much value and they want to group together the absolute best schools they can from the G5 to get the absolute best media deal they can.
