- Keeping this thing going straight is very very difficult, & the steering is so damn sensitive. Not to mention that sometimes a small crest is all it takes to send it to the moon.
No VltEd changes to handling just vanilla in-game tuning. Sounds are for_gt_a_eng + for_mus_a.
This should be the real "speed king"'s car.
Supercharger? Check.
Straight cut gears? Check.
Very stiff suspension? Check.
Fast boi? Yes.
Hotel? Trivago.
Pontiac? GTO.
I love Nates GTO....
But it would need a lot more power than 675 to make it to 250mph

65' Gto is actually a great speed car, but it has a pretty big issue. Its weird steering makes this car a pain to drive with keyboard, but with steering wheel it's i believe on par with M3 E46

Suspension is a given to change. I wonder if SHOCK_BLOWOUT is the cause of this - I changed the Civic to have a lower value on both front and rear, and it became more stable over hops with less propensity to bounce. Sensitive steering is perhaps because the downforce is very front-biased, you can see the rear end slightly skidding out of line in corners.
This steering is really bad when playing with keyboard, but I've heard legends that with steering wheel/controller it isn't so bad to drive the gto
@@NICOCLASH the '65 GTO is bad to drive because its aero properties are poor. After I altered them in my own game, it was still sensitive to steering changes but much more planted and consistent.
@@ATomatoIsAFruit While aero parts are not good by any means the real killer of this cards is keyboard, with steering wheel or (with caution) controller, it's not so crippling

note - its good ONLY if u have steering wheel, completing speed challenge in Nevada with keyboard or XBOX controller is almost imposible
No that's not true I use a controller, it just takes practice
@@Kai_Foxx i used XBOX controller and driving in this car is rather easy on autobahn and ebisu speed event, but in nevada with those narrow road i simply struggle to control this car precisly
because i also recently switched to project cars2, i am waiting for new thrustmaster tmx pro wheel to arrive ;)
Did you add grip tires to the car? Because from what I know, this car has no grip at all
Mind if i ask but, cant proper tuning and better parts be capable of making this car more decent to drive?
It desperately needs better aero parts. Just a wing even, to stop it from flying over small bumps.
Also driving with steering wheel makes this car a lot better, it has a weird steering that makes a pain to drive with keyboard
