Hi, I’ve been following your journey! You can do this. It’s never linear. Don’t give up- oh and I started my own journey recently and the book bright line eating really helped. Hope this advice serves You. Take care ❤
@cyrasjourney Thank you so much for your comment 🙏 I'm determined not to give up, no matter how hard it gets! I wish you all the luck with your journey, and I'll look into that book you suggested 😊
Man, keep up the good mindset, it's normal to have bad moments, setbacks, more so if you also have some influences from the anxiety and depression. I'm in a similar boat like you, I started my mental health journey 1 year ago, made some progress, but it's a long journey (I suffer from a pretty heavy anxiety, agoraphobia). And at the end of July I started my weight loss journey, similar to you, I was 126kg, I'm 5'11, now I'm 115kg, 43 days into this. It's normal to have some bad days, personally, I made myself a promise: if I eat bad one day, the next day I restart again with my diet; if I eat for more than one day bad, I go back and try to analyze if something that I was doing isn't sustainable, in that case I try to change. It's a journey, it's normal to need to adjust and change, not every healthy choice can be introduced into someone lifestyle.
@Zejzer thank you for sharing that. The one thing I've learned is that it helps knowing I'm not alone with my diet troubles and setbacks. I've always been over-critical about myself when it's not going the way it's supposed to. The mental health aspect makes it super difficult, right!? Thanks for reaching out, and I wish you all the luck with your journey 🙏💪
@@luckysixpence thanks for the advice. I haven't looked too much into the keto diet! But I'll have a look. I start off really well on a low-calorie diet but then I plateau after a couple of months! And welcome to my channel, glad you're here 😊🙏
@@scottslateruk A bit like the carnivore diet but have veggies with meat,no bread, cornflakes, pasta and no sugar allowed lol but you will feel more mentally alert with no energy dips
I did try something like that at the start of my diet. I just couldn't keep up with it after a few weeks. Maybe I'll give it another go and see if I feel and see a difference! I might try that next week and compare the two diets!
❤❤❤❤
