You can use iridescent cellophane to create a similar effect. And you'll only need clear resin! You can still paint the back black for a completely different color show.

That pendant looks like the ones I make...clear layer of resin in the mold with teeny pieces of cut up iridescent plastic, like the kind used for wrapping gift baskets, etc. Sprinkle them into the clear layer, and then when dried, layer of black resin like you used here. Maybe do it your way, but after brushing the color on, wipe the mold out a bit, using a flat hand, to get it off the very tips of the grooves facing out, which is the bottom when the piece is done. You can use multiple colors that way also, they would be layered.

WOW, There amazing. Hold your needle with some clamping tweezers and heat up the tip of the needle that will go through the plastic so you can pop the bubbles. I think they used Iridescent crinkle paper to make the pendant. could be foil also. you should try an Automotive sanding pad that has a sponge inside sandpaper on the outside. you know like we use for our fingernails, buffer on the sides. So you can smooth down the sides.

I would recommend to try the green stone ones, or the diamond burs. There are some burs that are not Dremel, buta cheaper version that are coloured pink stones, they work wonders, i use them!!
