Be careful with the cats around Luna. I know you said they are good but many infants have died from cat’s suffocating them. It’s a real thing. Keep the cats away from her when she sleeps. It can happen so quick.

It’s so common for breastfed babes to have Jaundice! We had to go a few times to get her blood drawn, it was so heartbreaking. She’ll get better soon, she just needs to eat and pee it out! ❤
it's true, my son was exclusively breastfed and he had jaundice for even 4 months .. but nothing terrible. Baby in the sun, vitamin D and everything great...
My boyfriend is subscribed to you guys with notifications as well, because I like to be early and love watching you guys. I wasn’t paying attention to my phone and out of nowhere he goes ‘babe, Madeline and Stephen posted about Luna’s first pediatrician appointment’. We automatically turned on the tv and came to TH-cam. I’m glad little Luna is doing better now! ❤

Hey guys! I hope you don’t take this the wrong way but the cats should not be in the room with her while y’all are sleeping. I didn’t know this either & was told when I was pregnant with my son. The cats can lay on her face and suffocate her (especially if they smell milk on her) even if they don’t usually lay on people I wouldn’t let them in there just to be safe. I still don’t let our cat sleep with us just incase and my son is one. This advice is coming from a good place & just know y’all are doing great ❤️❤️

My pediatrician told me to keep there bassinet close to a window during the day and every hour put a small washcloth over their eyes and put them in direct sunlight for 2-3 minutes for jaundice if possible and it worked great with my firstborn
Aww momma, daddy and baby Luna the most precious little family💕 I'm glad Lunas jaundice is better and she didnt need intervention. You can always have her in sunlight for about 20 mins at a time as well (indoors of course). She is so gorgeous I will probably say that a million times,but it's TRUE. Love you guys 💜💜💜

The newborn stage was the greatest time 😩 literally the best age!!! I have a hyperactive 3 year old now and 😅
So cute! Our daughter’s jaundice level was 11 at her first pediatrician appointment and it went away after a few weeks. She’s almost 4 months now and is as white as can be! 😂

I cannot say it enough I’m so happy for you guys! Being a parent is one of the greatest blessings! My son was born a little early and his jaundice numbers were pretty high we got to go home for a day and then went to our pediatrician and the numbers jumped and had to go to hospital and stay for a few days to get light treatment. The more they poop the better and with breastfed babies they don’t poop as much. My son did just fine tho and is now 2 months away from being a year old and it’s crazy how the time flys 🥺❤️

Breastfeed Breastfeed Breastfeed and yes get her in the sun and she will be just fine!!! However keep an eye on her color because it can cause some scary health issues so keep doing what your doing😊 Breastfeeding is the answer most of the time that works...for real! Love you guys! It is totally common for babies to have jaundice. Just continue doing what you’re doing and it should clear. Defiantly give yourself credit. The first time at home is rough for sure but be patient. You’re doing everything you can and remember you’re new at this and so is Luna! I’m a single mom. I am doing it alone. I have 2 under 2 and both my girls had jaundice and with my first she barley had it. And my second she had it her levels were at 13 so they spiked. I pumped and bottle fed for a month and it went away because I was watching her intake.
Anyways you guys are doing amazing! Parenting is hard. The older she gets the more she will be on a routine and it will get easier. Love y’all!!❤

That's correct always be kind. do onto others how you want to be treated. You have the most amazing husband. And he has the most amazing wife. And Luna is absolutely gorgeous. It'll get easier it is difficult in the beginning. Just trying to get her schedule down. My newborn always looked super tan in photos even though I barely had him in direct sunlight.. some babies just photograph tan I think 😅
I was born jaundice and then again at the age of 19. We could never figure out why or what caused me to become jaundice later in life. Blood work was never telling.
I’m so glad Luna is doing better! I had jaundice when I was a baby, it is so so common!
I sit in the back with my baby too she’s 9 months old now but I just love sitting and playing with her even in the car

My 1st baby had jaundice we constantly were going to the doctors we went just about daily for a week and ended up having to get sent a blue light thing to use at home it definitely wasn't fun

One more thing I promise will be you is when she is sleeping keep her hat on her as well as being wrapped up just remember she was just in your belly all nice and warm so she needs to still be warm for to sleep good just try it you will see just a tip

My son had jaundice and he had to do the light therapy he looked like a little glow worm I've even had jaundice before and billyruben is sometimes hard to get back down lots of eating and sun and she gonna be just fine 💗 y'all are doing great and catching on fast to sleep when she does nap anytime your able and both of you are doing such a awesome job y'all were made to be parents and baby Luna is the sweetest little thing 🥰🥰

My step nephew was just born and he’s been having jaundice problems too. I’m sure little Luna is doing well, it’s pretty common so she’ll most likely get better soon

How are you guys feeling? I wonder if her olive skin tone will last. My son had it up until about 7 weeks ago, when he was 3 weeks old. Im very pale so I was hoping he wouldn’t get my complexion because I burn so easily. 😅

Do not show her. Do not film her. Especially not a doctors appointment. You wouldn’t say what Stevens appointment was so do not expose hers. Please watch the dad challenge podcast to understand why. He just released a video saying the most 10 reasons why not to exploit your kids.
I personally believe that they’ve been doing a great job with respecting her privacy compared to these other family channel exploiters do. They cannot fully hide their daughter as she has become their whole life currently. They don’t make their videos entirely about her and she was hardly shown in this video. I respect that you want the best for them and their daughter but this is new and challenging and just as scary for them. They’ve been handling it with grace
They did not show or tell too much about her or her appointment in this video. & they said their daughter is okay thus far! I believe they are responsible so far as well for what they are posting about their daughter. I know they will continue to think about what they are showing and telling everyone for her privacy. They're doing a great job and will. Plus they're super proud parents who deserve to be and to be able to show Luna some. It's all so amazing
