He’s less of a soldier and more like a slave of the Empire. A proper soldier protects those whom he loved and those who trusted him. Following orders to destroy the very same people he enlisted to help? Vardos wasn’t even a Rebel system, but rather one that has been loyal to the Empire. He had forsaken the warrior code for that of a slave: just following orders.
Something tells me that there were others in the Empire who defected after Cinder besides Iden. This was the moment when the Empire jumped the shark. It was one thing to use Cinder on Rebel planets or planets whose Imperial loyalty was questionable. But to use it on planets who were 100% loyal to the Empire I'm going to say may have been a bridge too far for many.

It is stories like these that make the new Star Wars canon stuff awesome. I love Inferno Squad.
Legends will always be better. New canon stuff is kind of meh.

Usually at that point 9:27, I would throw a thermal detonator at the troopers as a distraction and then run fast.
Plot twist! We all kind of saw it coming though...
The only thing that rebels will do is laugh on their assess while Empire is killing itself.

Iden should've punched Admiral Versio in the face and they start fighting in the command bridge. And then Iden throws her father out the airlock.
Shouldnt the Empire target Rebel worlds like Lothal, Attallon, Yavin, Mykapo, Ryloth and Mandalore
If the emperor dies, than the empire also dies, stupid I know.
Maybe the idea is to teach anyone who doubts the Empire’s power a lesson.
