  • Cultivating Loving Kindness: Seeing the Goodness, with Tara Brach [originally published on 2022-02-16]
The ground of loving kindness is seeing the basic goodness in ourselves, each other and our world. This is what gives rise to pure appreciation, friendliness, love and the felt-sense of belonging. In this talk we explore what obscures and contracts our perceptual field, and the pathway of purposefully awakening this transformational capacity of cherishing all life.
Please enjoy this remastered version of one of Tara's most popular talks, originally published on 2022-02-16.

Allowing myself to sense I'm loved just as I am, my goodness and, "we have each other", feels soothing and healing. Thank you.

It’s part of our programming and once I debunked the programming regardless of the old physical reactions which have become less prominent just having a new perspective is monumental. If it no longer makes good enough sense for me to be concerned about the opinions and judgments of others I can easily let that go. I know I will be judged. It can’t bother me otherwise I will be dependent on the outside world to tell me I’m ok and worthy. Those opinions and beliefs that mind don’t matter and those that matter don’t mind. We can still love and care for each other even though we disagree. It’s all good. 💜🙏💜
