    Congrats! It's absolutely lovely:) But wow...what a process. It use to be like this several years ago in my city (real estate 'craziness') but it's SOOO not like that now. Good luck with your move. Sounds like you won't have any problems selling and getting a good amount for your current place.

    Hi, congratulations on your new home. Can you please advise the areas in Zone 1 where one could find atleast one bedroom furnished apartment [for a couple] in 13000 Kr.? Like you, we love lots of light in the house and space...but struggling with locations to look at...

    • @MaritaKvam
      @MaritaKvam  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much! 😄 That is very difficult to answer. I have never rented in Oslo before, so I am very unsure of what the different places cost here 🤔 Also it really depends on what kinda surroundings you would like. I am sorry, but it is really difficult to answer 😅 Also you might find it difficult to find a furnished apartment, as that is not common here in Norway. But you can find lots of cheap and/or free stuff that people sell on Finn.no 😊

      Glad you liked the video! 😁 We usually don’t go through agencies here. Finn.no is the site where we find apartments to buy or rent. 😊 You can see everyone available in my area there and make contact on the apartments you are interested in.

    Amazing video. And then someone say that life is expensive in Norway. You would pay more for apartment in many European cities....Paris,London,Moscow,Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam...even in Prague you have to pay a fortune to get an apartment. Prague for example has worst salary to sqm price ratio in whole europe union

    That’s crazy on houses! Here in the US, only families who will live there (and not rent it) can put a bid in for the first 8 days, and even after that, preference must be given to individual/family owners (not the kind of developers you described; only those who would fix it and sell it to another family kind of developer).

    • @dianyadira
      @dianyadira ปีที่แล้ว

      Where in the US are you from? That isn't the case at all in Oklahoma. They don't care who bids on housing.

    • @druidsongevergreens
      @druidsongevergreens 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not in Portland. Here developers and profit-before-people values reign. It's unsustainable and impossible to buy

    Omg so this whole "omg lets' go buy a house/apartment RIGHT NOW" isn't just happening in Australia but all over.?! . The price of houses and apartments here in Australia have sky rocketed since Covid. Going way above the asking price. Same goes for rentals. If you want a rental and its advertised at $450 (a week) they're being rented out at like $500 or $550 because people who really want to live there offer the real estate agents more money on their application. Mind you this is all in AUD. Like there are at least 50 people at open houses on the weekends. My friend went to an open home to view an apartment the other day and he said there were 30-40 people waiting to view it. It's insane here at the moment. Never seen the housing market like this before!

    • @MaritaKvam
      @MaritaKvam  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Omg! That is insane! 😬 It has been pretty crazy here for the last 5 or so years actually, but it has been getting even crazier after covid! So funny that it is happening over there as well! 😅

      We use a site called Finn.no. There you can find all homes for purchase and rent in Norway. However, I can't see if it's possible to view that website in English. Maybe you can run the website through Google translate in some way? Not sure 😅 You can at least check the site out and see if you get English in your browser.
