@@glendasully I usually store my potatoes and onions in my laundry room. It is cool in there. Not sure what would work best for you. Maybe line your laundry basket with some newspaper and put them in a dark closet or maybe in a box under the bed. Just try to spread them out some and then keep an eye on them.
I didn't think about putting down the newspaper first. My bedroom closet is cool & I have space on the floor in it. That's where I'll make my "Root Cellar"! Thank you for the info
