FYI, Devastator had the O-Ring just around the center peg but when I took Krok apart his was wrapped around the 3 outer pegs
I used the Krok way because he was working, I guess it would work either way. 🤷

Love this! I recommend running the O rings under hot water. We need more repair videos like this!

Well done good sir! I remember that at least one of my Actionmasters has loose hips. I’m going to dig my Actionmasters out this weekend to replace their O rings. Thanks for the tutorial!

That looks tricky, but I’m glad you got it fixed.

To quote Oliver Twist: Can I have some more? 😔🍲
By that I mean more G1 reviews (also G2,🚛 Beast Wars,🐵 etc) when you have time. You should hopefully have enough to do theme reviews like Headmasters or Wave 2 Minibots🚗 to help show off what some of us missed in the 80's. Plus there are a bunch of G1 figures that still don't have reviews on TH-cam or if they do unfortunately not in English. So if you could fill in the gaps that would be awesome.😁👍

Good video. This is basically the same way you fix vintage gi joes. I did a video like this 3 years ago.

It’s funny, I had to fix my power washer not too long ago, and ordered a bunch of O-rings and my first thought was “man I could fix a bunch of Joes” 😂

The O ring only needs to go around the thick post, with screw hole, making it sit inside those three small pegs.

That's how it was in Devastator but Krok had it wrapped around the pegs. I just went with the one that was working.

I had a hook on the axel for Inferno That totally broke off. Then I looked to the corner of my Eye. Was a paper clip .I took the paper clip. trimmed it Just wrapped it around no glue needed. I bent it Then I put it around a brand new O ring. I screwed him back together. He was good as new. Always a solution . I been using Like clay, super glue, Baking soda Cotton & such too for repairs. Also melting plastic too as well.

I remember the old saying: "Loose hips sink ships". Oh, that wasn't it, was it? ;P

Excellent! My Mainframe’s rubber band appears to be holding up, but I’m sure if I took him apart, it would be like Krok’s. I’m already extremely careful with him in fear it might break so I might just try this.

I could have really used these o-rings when I was repairing my old G.I. Joes, I had to figure out a janky way to use regular rubber bands.

Thank god you didn't grip it, and rip it like I said to do. Now I'm wondering where I got that idea from. I'm positive when I took apart Soundwave, to do this same fix, the head was a peg like the arms.
Sorry for the I'll advise. Danm

LOL! Fortunately the only gripping and ripping I do is Band-Aids.
I knew there had to be a way.

Action master megaton has a T peg that attaches the arms and head. Very fragile pegs if you ever have to fix him.

Batman, the Animated Series was heavily influenced, and you could also say a love letter to the 1940s Fleischer Studios Superman animated series. The art style of that Superman series was Art Deco, a style of visual arts, architecture, and product design that dominated Europe and the US in the first half of the 20th century. Thus, BTAS and the 89 Batman the Movie emulated the style of the 1930s and 40s, not the 1960s.

Why does a repair video need a content warning? Sheesh.

    • @PatriotPrimeReviews
      @PatriotPrimeReviews  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

Because of silly ass TH-cam laws when you review toys.
