When you leave a state, province, or country, how much do you miss it? Or, do you look forward to a new adventure?

Nicely done! Although I am very excited about my move to France in 2025, I am still a bit nonplussed that the visa/taxes situation for retirees in Portugal changed this year. That said, I will be VV much looking forward to exploring all of Portugal. It's rusty now, but I did teach myself Portuguese during the pandemic, so I need to keep that up! Hoping you all finally get some under 95 temps soon! (Sue)

When I travel, I like to walk every day and not just tourist areas. Last winter, I had been in Portugal for a week and I suddenly had a feeling come over me, "where is the anger?" And there wasn't any. No loud vehicles (with or without Trump flags flying), no consistent violence/shootings, political rage, etc. Ugh. Every country has its problems but the US is just a coiling caldron.
