when the segment of They Are Not Alone at 1:49:41 kicked in, me and my crew went into full pirate mode :D the final fight was easily the most epic battle and adventure our little group of 4 had in a long time

They did a really great job with the music. It could be in a movie without any doubt. It's not common to see that kind of work in videogames in general. Hans Zimmer did an amazing OST for Pirates of the Caribbean and the fact we can enjoy that work in this game is truly a gift

I absolutely love the nods to the PoTC original score. Hearing the On Stranger Tides theme during Tall Tale 2, Curse of the Black Pearl Theme on Tall Tale 3, the Town with pirates chanting A Pirates Life. I just wished they would have used he's a Pirate a bit more.
I think it's got to do with legal issues, Disney knows that He's a Pirate is the most popular theme, but they might have wanted it to stay purely potc related so they didn't make as much money off of the sea of thieves partnership. Idk Disney is very smart
There is actually an unused soundtrack in the gamefiles which is a medley of the SoT-Battle-Theme and He's a Pirate. Got removed from YT because of copyright claims. Probably not used because of Disney's copyright but created just in case, I guess.

The Dead Man's Grotto part of TT 1 has always been a favorite of mine. Very reflective of the last 4 years of playing this game. And dare I say, I will never look back.
God damn they did not disappoint with this update amazing music, beautiful scenery, great story, and fun new enemies to fight absolutely loved every second of doing this with my friends. Also unlike the movies this kind of made me feel bad for Jones I don't know why he didn't leave the ship since in the sea of thieves he wasn't forced to stay on it
I don't know how much of the lore you're into for the game, but he was being controlled by someone called the Cap'n since they had his heart so that could be the case as why he didn't leave.

The track is very reminiscent of the LOTR's "The Shire". The two tracks are meant to be peaceful, calming and "welcoming" at home if you can call it. They set the mood for a greater happy feeling This particular piece at 6:30 is totally nailing this feel. True masterpiece imho

The story's ending ended just like how I'd see a pirates of the Caribbean movie end, and that final battle that takes place mostly being on your ship, firing cannons, defending your ship was exactly like a fight against Davy Jones would go. Rare really went for it this time
