def "just my imagination 1988" its just audio though but is considered the holy grail of Prince guitar solos. "Empty Room live at montreux 2009" has footage & that his considered his most emotional guitar solo. You can't go wrong with either one but just my imagination will you make you go crazy tbh although Empty Room he gets an incredible response from the crowd after his solo. Motherless Child is amazing but def not even top 10 solos from Prince
Glad you enjoyed this one. Candy Dulfer, who is a sax player, was singing back up on that one. The great John Blackwell was on drums (unfortunately, he passed away a few years ago). Mike Scott on guitar and Rhonda Smith on bass. Maceo Parker (sax), Renato Neto (keys), Chance Howard (keys/vocals), and Greg Boyer (trombone) were also in this band. Prince rotated musicians frequently. This band is called the New Power Generation (NPG), and Prince had many iterations of that band from the early 1990s until he passed. Thanks for doing this one! 💜💜💜
Detroit was always a city that supported Prince even in the early days. After of course his home city Detroit was one of the top stops for him on any tour.
@@AceofBadeReacts the 90s live version from the beautiful experience is for me even more passionate and sexier , prince was wilder 💜 the one u reacted to is awesome but my favorite is the one I said .
PJs? No, no just stylish comfortable fashion - I happen to love his dress style 😍 We not only lost my favourite entertainer but my favourite drummer John Blackwell to a brain tumor the following year 😢 RIP 🥰🙏 💖
This live version doesn't differ too much from the recorded version on 1995's "The Gold Experience." There are some variances and embellishments, which is normal for a live Prince performance, but it certainly isn't a total re-work. The lyrics are the same and if I didn't know what I was about to hear, I'd have recognized it immediately. That said, I've always loved this song and this is a great live version!
Hi ace I got your reply this morning from my suggestion for you to react to wintersun sons of winter and stars live rehearsal at Sonic pump studio in Helsinki Finland. Question ace I saw a reaction a while ago that you had with you a lady named Kathy and her daughter lulu . So how do you know them ? I am actually a subcriber to their channel currently. And it would be awesome if you could do a reaction with Kathy lulu and Kathy's mom Donna too. So send me back a reply ace to see what you think. Your new subcriber Wintersun Alex in Texas ❄️👋👍
He said it " just suddenly started with the song and then just suddenly ended so at least it's consistent. I kind of wish we had just a little bit before and a little bit after just to kind of ease us into it and ease us out of it" ~ No that is actually the song. It starts with a wild drum solo and guitar. Then Prince says: "Shhhhhhh break it down... i dont wanna anyone to hear the sound" and it goes quiet
Hey ace did you get my suggestion for reacting to wintersun sons of winter and stars live rehearsed video at Sonic pump studios in Helsinki Finland? I left in your nightwish perfume of the timeless reaction. They are sister bands because nightwish has band members that were in wintersun before. They are labeled as a symphonic viking metal band from Finland. So send me back a reply to see what you think. Thank you wintersun Alex ❄️👋👍
What is Prince's best performance with a guitar?
Kind of impossible to answer... I'll try to send some.
Cool reaction
Motherless Child or Empty Room live💜
Was it Empty in the room when he played?
That’s impossible to narrow down. There are sooo many!!! I’ll try to single some guitar work out for you with future requests.

RIP John Blackwell.. You couldn't watch that man play drums without grinning along with him
He's fantastic
I was fortunate enough to see Prince with John Blackwell on drums. Did that same trick when they played this song!

So since he swapped out members frequently, it's a little hard to pinpoint how often members are in performances?
my profile pic says it all
Im in the cult
THIZ IZ THA G.O.A.T. , HIMSELF !!!!!
Prince was the modern day Mozart
That's a good comparison
A big Thank You to JJLovesPrince for this request!

Damn that drummer is fire!!!!
He really is
PRINCE wrote the song and it originally was done for the singer Tevin Campbell and is on Tevins cd then Pronce recorded his own version
oh that's interesting
THE MAN WAS SO COOL AS CAN BE. 🎶🎵🌷👑❤️👍🏽
The best version is from the beautiful experience the 90s.
What did they do different in that performance?

Oh that is also just tragic. If nothing else, they left us unimaginable talent to go back and watch

No he’s not wearing Pj’s😂…silk shirt and slacks…Prince was also dressed to perfection…never see him in PJ’s in public
"really nice PJs" LOL.. it's a silk shirt and pants. Would that be something to wear to bed? possibly, I guess.
Ok in my defense
@@AceofBadeReacts This is probably the most "normal" clothes you will ever see him preform in. LOL I will watch every Prince reaction you do!

We actually started that channel together and we went our separate ways back in July of 2023.
