I don't listen to much vocaloid but this I second. Practically anything by Steampianist would also be good. Pretty much the only 2 vocaloid artists I like to listen to.

Butterfly on your right shoulder by Rin and Len is absolutely amazing! Electric Magic too! I actually can add some of my favourites to your list! Rolling Girl, Karakuri Burst, Duke of Venomania, PoPiPo, Love is War, Alice Human Sacrifice, Himitsu Keisatsu, Jinsei Game, Secret by Megumi, LUVORATORRRRRY! by Gumi&Rin, Matryoshka, Just be Friends, Romeo and Cinderella by Rin&Len, Ten-Faced by GUMI, Servant of Evil (😭), Circus Moster, Dark Woods Circus, Adolescence by Rin&Len, Hello/How are you, Fukkireta, Bacterial Contamination, Owata! \(^o^)/, Bad Apple, Difficult Love, Machine Gun, Abstract Noncense........and I think I got too far🤣
@@Cindy_Hollow lol i have heard of/love most of those. Bad Apple is my favorite song of all time. I have a playlist of like 50+ versions (mostly different Voclaoid and Utau covers) of Bad Apple! :D
Dude. You HAVE to listen to Annapantsu. She is incredible and I really can't say anything more because she is just incredible. I would recommend: -The Ballad of Sarah Berry -Friends on the Other Side -Prince Ali(highly recommended) And literally anything else.
You asked during Echo how they get so much emotion in the voicebank, right? It's a function in the vocaloid software called tuning, which is used by producers to manipulate the vocals even further. It can be used to make the voices sound more human or more robotic, more emotional or less so. Each producer often has a specific style of tuning. :)
why did I read "never listen to vocaloid music"... I was expecting him to shit on my favourite songs and myself to get angry but it was wholesome and he mentioned really interesting strong points of those songs.
Hey just a heads up, be sure to credit the producer as well, that’s a huge thing in the community, which is being sure to credit the real artists who make the music. Some recommendations: Rolling Girl by Wowaka, Non-Breath Oblige and Nee, Née, Nee by Pinocchiop-P, Lost Ones Weeping by Neru, Hated by Life Itself by Kanzaki Lori, and Daughter of Evil and Servant of Evil by Monty (with the two “of evil” songs I do recommend listening in that order)
I love PinocchioP, especially how a lot of the lyrics are thought provoking like Loveit, SlowMotion, and Whatever Yama Says Goes, but my fav of his would be I'm Glad You're Evil Too. I also really like songs from Kairiki Bear, Steampianist, and Neru a lot too. Plus I recommend the Synchronicity and the Bad End Night series by Hitoshizuku-P, The Evillous Chronicles, and Royal Scandal (I actually prefer the Luz versions of Royal Scandal though so I'm not sure if it counts).
I would just highly recommend the vocaloid artist GHOST, more specifically their songs HouseWife Radio and The Distortionist. They’re absolute bops and are very *spooky*
Ok now you just opened a whole can of worms that i love!! So im just gonna list all the vocaloid songs i personally love and i think you should check out. - rolling girl - ghost rule - patchwork staccato (hope i spelled it right) - triple baka - childish war - kyokan (honestly i listened to kradness version so i cant remember if it is a vocaloid song) - venom - electric angel - drop pop candy - the chattering lack of common sense - love me love me love me - and lastly caramel heaven!! I have SO MANY MORE, but these are ones i can come up with now :)
your most likely going to need to do a part 2 soon. You MUST check out Mitchie M's stuff. hes got some of the best vocaloid tuning there is and the music itself is damn good. my favorites are "Assassin princess, Seraphim On The Ring, Ohedo Julia-Night, Mai Mai Mai"
As someone still pretty new to vocaloid, and still just kinda dipping their toes in the water, he looked like me listening to vocaloid for the first time and that made me happy. (also if yall could give me some more song suggestions that would be appreciated)
Here's some song recommendations! Warning: Some of them may be too dark for you. Strobe Light Girlving to the right White Happy Darling Magical Doctor SIU Nonsense Speaker Self-inflected colorless Wrist Cutter Strobe Last Please give me a red pen A lump of nonsense Psyche Luger There! I hope you like them!
I don't have any specific song recs, but I can recommend producers! -Maretu -Kikuo -Wowaka -Hachi -Neru -Pinocchio-P -GHOST and Pals -Giga-P -Crusher-P -VocaCircus -Creep-P -DECO*27 -JIN -mothy -Kairiki Bear -Dasu I'd also recommend x0o0x_, but they're not a Vocaloid producer. But they do have an UTAU! I'd also suggest going down the rabbit hole of Ghost Rule covers! It'll introduce you to new Vocaloids and UTAUs, maybe it'll even help you pick out your favorite ones? (Also, UTAU is like Vocaloid but free and you can make your own. It's also harder to use, from what I've heard.) My favorite Ghost Rule covers are Defoko, Fukase, Gachapoid, Len, Teto, and Meiko, personally. That's where I suggest starting at! Happy listening :)
omg vocaloid yes! i recommend listening to artists like kikuo (some of his songs contain deep themes though) and you should check out ghost rule, and the kagamine twins (len and rin). Also roki roki by mafumafu and soraru! (they're artists too).
finally!! vocaloid! on the topic of vocaloid, i totally recommend Ghost and Pals! they have rlly good songs, here are my recommended; Housewife Radio Honey I’m Home The Distortionist The Chattering Lack of Common Sense Appetite of a People-Pleaser Amygdala’s Rag Doll Black and White and thats all! have a nice day :]
Oh my god YES. I was hoping you'd do this at some point! And you included one of my favorite artists, GHOST as well! my favorites of theirs are probably The Chattering Lack of Common Sense, The Distortionist, Happy Days and Appetite of a People Pleaser. OH and Honey I'm home!!!
There are too many good Vocaloid songs to recommend but here are some really great artists: Inabakumori, Pinocchio-P, Mitchie M, Giga-p, Kikuo, Neru, Wowaka, GHOST, and Deco*27 are some of my personal favorites
I recommend listening to R.I.P.'s music, wether it be in your free time or in another video. All of the songs have a very unique feel to them and the themes in the songs always come across very well. Also, I recommend the song Unknown Mother Goose by Wowaka. It tells a story about the Vocaloid community that I think will be interesting for you.
I want to recommend "Daughter of Evil" and "Servant of Evil" since those are some of the first vocaloid songs I ever listened to and they're some of my favorite - they're also classics and great in general. "Bad Apple", "Blessed Messiah and the Tower of Ai", and "Imagination Forest" are really good too. Also if you think the vocaloids are good you should see how real people are able to like enhance it in some songs, I recommend checking out covers if you're curious.
I totally recommend doing more vocaloid reactions, maybe even doing 1 producer per video. I love that you give feedback based on production and not just "it's too high pitched" or "this is weird I don't get it" Also you picked some of my favorite songs for this video! Gumi and Miku are my favorites
I feel like every vocaloid artist has their own style. For english vocaloids you should react to GHOST, KIRA and Crusher-P. For Japanese Giga-P, Circus-P, Kikuo(some disturbing topics. Be warned.) and others. For tagalog vocaloids you can react to Dasu and Carinosa by Steampianist.
There are so many good Vocaloid songs that you would like. For a next episode, I would recommend songs like Rolling Girl, Lost One's Weeping, Ghost Rule, Housewife Radio by Ghost, Novocaine, Appetite of a People-Pleaser, and literally any song by Kikuo
YESSS KAGEPRO!!!! i love it so much :) If he doesn't listen to the full thing (which i definitely don't expect him to!) i'd suggest at least the Ayano and Shintaro-centric ones; Ayano's Theory of Happiness, Additional Memory, Tomei Answer, and Lost-time Memory. (In that order. Either that or Tomei Answer first.) Warning, though: You will cry. It's unavoidable.
I went a little overboard but here are my suggestions: If you want more Gumi English songs I would recommend the producer Kira (Ladylike is a good song). Also this video covers mainly overseas producers I would definitely recommend you check out more of the songs made from Japanese producers. Daughter of Evil/Servant of Evil by mothy is a classic, also The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku by CosMo. Lastly literally all of EZFG's vocaloid songs are bangers and I would be remiss if I didn't mention them.
I'd recommend doing an entire video on Pinnochio-P! His music is phenomenal and it provides amazing messages. I'd recommend; -Common World Domination (with subtitles!) -What's Inside -Nobody Makes Sense -Apple Dot Com -Loveit -Nee Nee Nee (Very recent!) -God-ish (his most recent!) I'd also recommend Wowaka (R.I.P,) he's a classic in the Vocaloid fandom. He's the reason that you see producers credited instead of Hatsune Miku or GUMI. Personal favorites include Rolling Girl, Unknown Mother Goose (his last song,) Unhappy Refrain, World's End Dancehall, and Two-Faced Lovers. Hachi is also a classic- some of my favorites by him are Donut Hole, Sand Planet, Matryoshka, and Hold, Release; Rakashas (?) and Carcasses. (It's also translated to Open and Close; Demons and the Dead, which is much easier to type!) I'm also a fan of his song In a Rainy Town, Balloons Dance with Devils, but that's a bit older and also I don't want to subject you to the horrors of that song. This may sound like a lot, and that's probably because Vocaloid is my special interest and I've been listening since I was... 7-ish? So, if you need any suggestions, you know who to call LOL. unless you want happy Vocaloid songs. I only know, like, 6. Edit: God-ish is no longer his newest song lol
OHHH!! I'm so happy for seeing vocacircus and ghost here, they're such wonderful producers, also, here are some recommendations^^: -honey, im home (GHOST ft. Dex) -karma (Vocacircus ft. Rin Kagamine) -gigantic O.T.N (Giga-p ft. Len Kagamine) -novocaine (Creep-p and GHOST ft. Vflower) -beast dance (KurageP ft. Otomachi Una)
I love Vocaloid so much it’s such a cool type of music I’d recommend some more GHOST songs, their music is amazing and they’re probably one of my favorite vocaloid artists!
Ghost makes such good music, I really recommend checking them out sometime! My recommendations are "Honey I'm home" "Entomologists" and "The Distortionist"
Hehe, if you want messed-up, I'd say Crushed Mary ft. Kaai Yuki and Complex by Watashinokoko. those are two "songs" that know how to use sounds that can make you feel physically ill. (Crushed Mary is based on a real story that's disturbingly close to Secrets of Wysteria. I felt sick hearing about it.) But for more ACTUALLY music horror songs, I'd say Dark Woods Circus, Fear Garden, 50/50, anything by Machigerta-P, Open and Close; Demons and the Dead, and most of MASA Works Design's dark songs. Not the ones about nuns or strippers, even though they sound epic.
ughdfkgh oh my godd.. if you ever do more i can only recommend stuff like Gakupo (Cantarella and A Doll's Voice) or more of GHOST (one of Gumi's of GHOST, Chattering Lack of Common Sense, The Distortionist, stuff with Creep-P, Honey I'm Home-) a lot of theirs are my absolute fave vocaloid songs.
My favourite producer and musician of all time is Kikuo. His songs are so intricate. My favourite song of his is "hole-dwelling." It really feels like you're falling down a hole.
I would highly recommend Abstract Nonsense by Neru, Lost One's Weeping by Neru, Setsuna Drive, Honey I'm Home by Ghost, You and Me by Eve, Rolling Girl, Butterfly on your right shoulder, and so much more!
Please please PLEASE look into some of the many cover artists for vocaloid/English covers on TH-cam! Its INSANE how amazing they are! Some are Jubyphonic, Will Stetson, and Rachie! They have amazing different voices and styles. I recommend any of their Itte covers! All amazing. All different.
I’m happy you got into the fascinating variety of Vocaloid, Mathew! Personally, I get intense goosebumps each time I hear specific parts of Copycat and ECHO, it’s incredible~
You gotta treat Vocaloids as a medium or an instrument, the songs can cover most genres of music, though a lot of them are pop! I'm glad you are discovering this but it's a really deep rabbit hole, also I don't think anyone mentionned him but you gotta check out Wowaka's song, he's insanely famous in the Vocaloid community and unfortunately died fairly recently (Rolling Girl is one of his most famous songs).
also also kairiki bear mental chainsaw and failure girl (the maretu collab one) i recommend and venom also maretu and kikuo and maybe even hatchi (donut hole, panda hero, and matroyoska or smtbin like that) they are all rlly well known
There are totally a ton of great recommendations in this comment section, so I’ll just say one of my personal favorites is Close to You, specifically the vFlower cover by kyaami on TH-cam Flower is known to have a powerful voice, and it really comes through with that cover’s tuning This goes to anyone that finds this comment, seriously it’s a great cover if you haven’t heard it already
If you are ever gonna make a part two, i definetely reccomend listening to Mitchie-M! Their probably the best at making vocaloids sounds as realistic as possible! I reccomend listening to their songs "Ai dee" "Ohedo Julianight" "age age again" and "freely tomorrow" (:
heres some more vocaloid recommendations if u plan to do a part 2! -O Light -Solitary Hide And Seek Envy -Hyperventilation Dance -Appetite Of A People Pleaser -Brain Revoultion Girl -SIU -Lost Ones Weeping - You wanna die? -Tokyo Teddy Bear -Terminating The World
AAAH i frikkin love vocaloid dude!!!! For the next video (if you decide to make one) i'd recommend "Lost One's Wheeping" , "Ghost Rule" (Len's version) , "Mind Brand" and "Hole Dwelling"
you are totally right about how the medium allows for versatility! theres a huge range of effects people go for, from lifelike to intentionally robotic or distorted. and some voicebanks are created with certain styles in mind, such as opera or metal! if you would like to try vocaloid songs of a different nature, i would recommend songs by maretu, utsu-p, or neru! theyre all wonderful creators and have a more hard rock vibe than dance or pop
I’d recommend anything by Ferry, though if you are looking for something extremely realistic I’d recommend their cover of There is A Light That Never Goes Out.
Copy Cat was literally the first vocaloid song I EVER listened to. It still holds a place in my heart. It was an mlp AMV 😭 MLP just shaped all of my hyperfixations I swear.
There’s so many good vocaloid songs that are good but here are you should react to: Mind Brand- Maretu Aishite Aishite- Kikuo Piece of Art- Kira Insanity- Circus P Rolling girl- Wowaka Exorcism- Creep P Lost ones weeping- Neru
I recommend patchwork staccato, corpse dance, tokyo teddy bear, lost ones weeping, mind brand, and butterfly on your right shoulder. Those are some of my favorite vocaloid songs that I think sound pretty cool, I was so happy when I saw you reacted to vocaloid!
HAHAHA WE GOT 'EM BOYS! HE'S OURS NOW! (PULLS Mathew McKenna to the Vocaloid side) I will now have to be in your discord server to suggest some radically different tempo and musical bangers I guess now XD
Omggg I’m so happy to see someone listening to vocaloid for the first time with an open mind and enjoying it!!! Everyone I show it to usually hates it and won’t even give it a chance
Ghost and Pals is probably my absolute favorite vocaloid artist, especially with The Distortionist, Honey I’m Home, Rotary Dial, Those Who Carried On, Housewife Radio, and definitely my favorite one, Appetite of a People-Pleaser. But also Candle Queen is awesome and I just love your reaction to it!
im so happy you're reacting to vocaloid and if u wanna listen to more, we have some AMAZING vocaloid classics that still slap today: -Daughter of Evil & Servant of Evil (these 2 are connected stories) -Matryoshka -Two Breaths Walking -Senbonzakura -Butterfly on you right shoulder -Meltdown -Rolling Girl -World's End Dancehall -Ghost Rule (this cover especially: th-cam.com/video/4H5ym50mypI/w-d-xo.html ) -Lost One's Weeping -Donut Hole -Unhappy Refrain -Coward Montblanc
OMG WAIT YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO WOWAKA (Like ROLLING GIRL, UNKNOWN MOTHER GOOSE [vocaloid or sung version]AND WORLDS END DANCEHALL)HE'S A GREAT VOCALOID PRODUCER AS WELL A GREAT SINGER IN HIS BAND
WE NEED ANOTHER OF THESE. also in that i want you to listen to Circles by Gumi, Karma by VocaCircus, The Distortionist by GHOST, and Honey I'm Home, also by Ghost
Fun fact, Vocaloids can get updates but since Yamaha (the company that made the software) has pretty flawed rules regarding how updates work (you would have to buy a separate package of updated voicebanks which weren’t cheap), Miku and the other Crypton Future Media voices are no longer getting updates within the Vocaloid engine, thus no longer being exclusive to Vocaloid. They’re being continued within a new variant of Piapro Studio which is another synth software that used the Vocaloid engine as a base. But now this new variant no longer seems to use the Vocaloid engine which allows the Crypton vocals to receive updates without users needing to buy a new version. Other Vocaloids have also been moved to other vocal synths, such as CeVIO ever since Crypton “left” the Vocaloid engine behind. Vocaloid5 the newest Vocaloid engine has received no new voices since the inclusions of Meika Hime and Mikoto back in early 2019. Nowadays Miku and the Crypton voices are being referred as Virtual Singers instead of Vocaloids, but there’s no right or wrong saying.
I definitely recommend listening to more songs by Ghost/Ghost and Pals! My favorites: The Distortionist Honey, Im Home Apitite Of A People Pleaser Housewife Radio
As soon as he said Candle Queen I SCREAMED I AM SO GLAD GHOST WAS ADDED INTO THIS I LOVE THEIR SONGS! I hope you continue to listen to GHOST’s music they are incredibly talented and have even tuned Japanese voicebank Vocaloids to sing perfect English, (for example Appetite of a people pleaser, V4Flower was the Vocaloid in that song and she only has a Japanese voicebank at the current moment)
The vocaloid rabbit hole is a really deep one, but so good! There's one offs like Echo and World is mine but some of my favorite are the ones that tie together!! The story of evil is amazing (the order of songs is Daughter of Evil, Servant of Evil and Message of Regret for the main three) but the Bad End Night series is good (this order I'm not sure of I know theres Bad End Night, Everlasting Night and Crazy Night but I'm not aware which is which in the lineup) There's also ones like Alice Human Sacrfice that is a whole story in the one song!!
I guess my goal for vocal synths in general (specifically for English) is trying to make pronunciation clear and properly timed My Azo Sorabara Voicebank is currently being tested in OpenUtau as it has features to make pronunciation more smooth and clear
Thanks for coming! Haha hope you enjoyed something a little silly and fun 💕
React to “happier than ever” by Billie Eilish!!!!!

The lost one's weeping was actually one of the first vocaloid songs I ever heard and it's still definitely one of my favourites
YES lost ones weeping and heat haze days!!!
Self-inflicted Achromatic is everything to me, I love it

There's so much to Vocaloid, it's basically its own genre, if you want to make a sequel, some I'd recommend would be Daughter of Evil and Servant of Evil for the story, Mind Brand (though it's message is dark), the Meikas' cover of 1 2 Fanclub which sounds extremely human-like, Sand Planet, and Bring it On (2mk did an amazing MMD (3d dance, basically) for it).
It's a whole rabbit hole, but it's great
YES. SERVANT OF EVIL DEFINITELY. Bring it on was amazing!
I think it’s more of a medium than a genre, since there are so many styles of music that can involve Vocaloids and synth vocals.

FINALLY VOCALOIDS YESSSSS
Hey just a heads up, be sure to credit the producer as well, that’s a huge thing in the community, which is being sure to credit the real artists who make the music.
Some recommendations: Rolling Girl by Wowaka, Non-Breath Oblige and Nee, Née, Nee by Pinocchiop-P, Lost Ones Weeping by Neru, Hated by Life Itself by Kanzaki Lori, and Daughter of Evil and Servant of Evil by Monty (with the two “of evil” songs I do recommend listening in that order)
Yesss the crediting of the vocaloid was bugging me (also the song recommendations are great)
I love PinocchioP, especially how a lot of the lyrics are thought provoking like Loveit, SlowMotion, and Whatever Yama Says Goes, but my fav of his would be I'm Glad You're Evil Too.
YES VOCALOID MOMENT FINALLY??.???
I would just highly recommend the vocaloid artist GHOST, more specifically their songs HouseWife Radio and The Distortionist. They’re absolute bops and are very *spooky*
Sorry to correct you but GHOST uses they/them afaik!
@@chibimango5028 janiajwkqjkwkw i couldn’t remember if they used he or they. I’ll change it lol 🧎♀️
@@drunk_vampire i'm looking at the about page, and they're fine with he/him

Some few suggestions:
-Pink
-Namida
-Magical doctor
-Mind brand
-Adolescence
MIND BRAND MY BELOVEDD
MAGICAL DOCTORRRR
VOCALOID!! SO NICE!! I hope we get more Vocaloid with different producers and styles
your most likely going to need to do a part 2 soon.
You MUST check out Mitchie M's stuff.
hes got some of the best vocaloid tuning there is and the music itself is damn good.
my favorites are "Assassin princess, Seraphim On The Ring, Ohedo Julia-Night, Mai Mai Mai"
I second this lmao. Mitchie-M's tuning is godly.
This is something I didn't expect
Edit : if you're gonna make part 2 i would choose some MARETU song , also more by GHOST
YES MARETU IS OUR GOD
Y E S

As someone still pretty new to vocaloid, and still just kinda dipping their toes in the water, he looked like me listening to vocaloid for the first time and that made me happy. (also if yall could give me some more song suggestions that would be appreciated)
Here's some song recommendations!
Warning: Some of them may be too dark for you.
Strobe Light
Girlving to the right
White Happy
Darling
Magical Doctor
SIU
Nonsense Speaker
Self-inflected colorless
Wrist Cutter
Strobe Last
Please give me a red pen
A lump of nonsense
Psyche Luger
There! I hope you like them!
I don't have any specific song recs, but I can recommend producers!
-Maretu
-Kikuo
-Wowaka
-Hachi
-Neru
-Pinocchio-P
-GHOST and Pals
-Giga-P
-Crusher-P
-VocaCircus
-Creep-P
-DECO*27
-JIN
-mothy
-Kairiki Bear
-Dasu
I'd also recommend x0o0x_, but they're not a Vocaloid producer.
Try listening to "Saiainaru Anata Wa Kaso" Trust me it's SO GOOD
Kimi wa dekinai ko by kikuo maybee
omg vocaloid yes! i recommend listening to artists like kikuo (some of his songs contain deep themes though) and you should check out ghost rule, and the kagamine twins (len and rin). Also roki roki by mafumafu and soraru! (they're artists too).
Nice profile picture
@@Jewls2 ty!
roki is not by mafumafu btw
@@helzkitchen ohh ok. then who is it by?

finally!! vocaloid!
on the topic of vocaloid, i totally recommend Ghost and Pals! they have rlly good songs, here are my recommended;
Housewife Radio
Honey I’m Home
The Distortionist
The Chattering Lack of Common Sense
Appetite of a People-Pleaser
Amygdala’s Rag Doll
Black and White
and thats all! have a nice day :]
^^^^
Did someone say GHOST AND PALS😯
😮
😀
😃
😆
HONEY IM HOME IS SUCH A BRAIN SCRATCH
Oh my god YES. I was hoping you'd do this at some point! And you included one of my favorite artists, GHOST as well! my favorites of theirs are probably The Chattering Lack of Common Sense, The Distortionist, Happy Days and Appetite of a People Pleaser. OH and Honey I'm home!!!
A lot of people reject vocaloid without giving it a listen and it’s really nice to see your positive reaction to it!
There are too many good Vocaloid songs to recommend but here are some really great artists:
Inabakumori, Pinocchio-P, Mitchie M, Giga-p, Kikuo, Neru, Wowaka, GHOST, and Deco*27 are some of my personal favorites
Yes finally another RIP fan
Yeah so it's basically it's whole own genre, like everyone has said. It would be awesome if you reacted to more! ^•^
I love that you give feedback based on production and not just "it's too high pitched" or "this is weird I don't get it"
Also you picked some of my favorite songs for this video!
If you're interested in a connected series of vocaloid songs: I highly recommend Jin's Kagerou Project! It tells a very interesting story.
KAGEPRO YESSSSS
Ayano's theory of happiness destroyed me even before I got into the story-
the kagepro songs are so well written, from the story to the songs!
Fun fact: Secret Garden (from your Undertale video) was sung by a vocaloid too (Cyber Diva, to be specific) :DD
I went a little overboard but here are my suggestions:
If you want more Gumi English songs I would recommend the producer Kira (Ladylike is a good song).
I recommend MafuMafu's songs
They're such a bop and his voice is just amazing
facts
I'd recommend doing an entire video on Pinnochio-P! His music is phenomenal and it provides amazing messages. I'd recommend;
-Common World Domination (with subtitles!)
-What's Inside
-Nobody Makes Sense
-Apple Dot Com
-Loveit
-Nee Nee Nee (Very recent!)
-God-ish (his most recent!)
I'd also recommend Wowaka (R.I.P,) he's a classic in the Vocaloid fandom.
OHHH!! I'm so happy for seeing vocacircus and ghost here, they're such wonderful producers, also, here are some recommendations^^:
-honey, im home (GHOST ft. Dex)
-karma (Vocacircus ft. Rin Kagamine)
-gigantic O.T.N (Giga-p ft. Len Kagamine)
-novocaine (Creep-p and GHOST ft. Vflower)
-beast dance (KurageP ft. Otomachi Una)
You should deeeeefinitely listen to kikuo- if you have a strong stomach at least, since his lyrics can get a little dark, lol
There is such a wide and awesome range of vocaloid songs out there! I love kikuo’s music and the “Seven Deadly Sins” vocaloid songs.
I love Vocaloid so much it’s such a cool type of music
I’d recommend some more GHOST songs, their music is amazing and they’re probably one of my favorite vocaloid artists!
I honestly recommend any Maretu or Kikuo songs, though they're all pretty dark :0
Same
Ghost makes such good music, I really recommend checking them out sometime! My recommendations are "Honey I'm home" "Entomologists" and "The Distortionist"
Omg, it's spooky month, I hope he also does some spooky vocaloid songs. My recommendation would be whispers of Wisteria
Good recommendation, mine would be La Llorona made by steampianist, the same producer who did wysteria.
Not the ones about nuns or strippers, even though they sound epic.
oh my god you should listen to like all of kikuo's vocaloid music, it's so unique and gorgeous and vaguely traumatizing all at once
ughdfkgh oh my godd.. if you ever do more i can only recommend stuff like Gakupo (Cantarella and A Doll's Voice) or more of GHOST (one of Gumi's of GHOST, Chattering Lack of Common Sense, The Distortionist, stuff with Creep-P, Honey I'm Home-) a lot of theirs are my absolute fave vocaloid songs.
I'm glad you are discovering this but it's a really deep rabbit hole, also I don't think anyone mentionned him but you gotta check out Wowaka's song, he's insanely famous in the Vocaloid community and unfortunately died fairly recently (Rolling Girl is one of his most famous songs).
also also kairiki bear
mental chainsaw and failure girl (the maretu collab one) i recommend and venom
also maretu
and kikuo
and maybe even hatchi (donut hole, panda hero, and matroyoska or smtbin like that) they are all rlly well known
AND HOW COULD I FORGET NERU CREATOR OF
LOST ONES WEEPING AND TOKYO TEDDY BEAR
There are totally a ton of great recommendations in this comment section, so I’ll just say one of my personal favorites is Close to You, specifically the vFlower cover by kyaami on TH-cam
Flower is known to have a powerful voice, and it really comes through with that cover’s tuning
This goes to anyone that finds this comment, seriously it’s a great cover if you haven’t heard it already
Somethings I love about vocaloid songs is that a lot of them actually include breaths in them like the a human singer’s song would have
If you are ever gonna make a part two, i definetely reccomend listening to Mitchie-M! Their probably the best at making vocaloids sounds as realistic as possible! I reccomend listening to their songs "Ai dee" "Ohedo Julianight" "age age again" and "freely tomorrow" (:
heres some more vocaloid recommendations if u plan to do a part 2!
-O Light
-Solitary Hide And Seek Envy
-Hyperventilation Dance
-Appetite Of A People Pleaser
-Brain Revoultion Girl
-SIU
-Lost Ones Weeping
- You wanna die?
-Tokyo Teddy Bear
-Terminating The World
I would definitely recommend looking at the live performance of Resonate X Echo with Miku and Gumi.
Fun fact: I have 2 pet rats named Miku and Gumi
AAAH i frikkin love vocaloid dude!!!!
For the next video (if you decide to make one) i'd recommend "Lost One's Wheeping" , "Ghost Rule" (Len's version) , "Mind Brand" and "Hole Dwelling"
The disappearance of Hatsune Miku... I think you should react to it!!!! 👀👀👀
YEAHHH
you are totally right about how the medium allows for versatility! theres a huge range of effects people go for, from lifelike to intentionally robotic or distorted. and some voicebanks are created with certain styles in mind, such as opera or metal!
if you would like to try vocaloid songs of a different nature, i would recommend songs by maretu, utsu-p, or neru! theyre all wonderful creators and have a more hard rock vibe than dance or pop
There’s so many good vocaloid songs that are good but here are you should react to:
Mind Brand- Maretu
Aishite Aishite- Kikuo
Piece of Art- Kira
Insanity- Circus P
Rolling girl- Wowaka
Exorcism- Creep P
Lost ones weeping- Neru
I recommend patchwork staccato, corpse dance, tokyo teddy bear, lost ones weeping, mind brand, and butterfly on your right shoulder. Those are some of my favorite vocaloid songs that I think sound pretty cool, I was so happy when I saw you reacted to vocaloid!
HAHAHA WE GOT 'EM BOYS! HE'S OURS NOW! (PULLS Mathew McKenna to the Vocaloid side)
I will now have to be in your discord server to suggest some radically different tempo and musical bangers I guess now XD
Omggg I’m so happy to see someone listening to vocaloid for the first time with an open mind and enjoying it!!! Everyone I show it to usually hates it and won’t even give it a chance
omg you should definitely listen to GHOST's music since they use vocaloid assets :D
Yes

Ghost and Pals is probably my absolute favorite vocaloid artist, especially with The Distortionist, Honey I’m Home, Rotary Dial, Those Who Carried On, Housewife Radio, and definitely my favorite one, Appetite of a People-Pleaser. But also Candle Queen is awesome and I just love your reaction to it!
im so happy you're reacting to vocaloid and if u wanna listen to more, we have some AMAZING vocaloid classics that still slap today:
-Daughter of Evil & Servant of Evil (these 2 are connected stories)
-Matryoshka
-Two Breaths Walking
-Senbonzakura
-Butterfly on you right shoulder
-Meltdown
-Rolling Girl
-World's End Dancehall
-Ghost Rule (this cover especially: th-cam.com/video/4H5ym50mypI/w-d-xo.html )
-Lost One's Weeping
-Donut Hole
-Unhappy Refrain
-Coward Montblanc
OMG WAIT YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO WOWAKA (Like ROLLING GIRL, UNKNOWN MOTHER GOOSE [vocaloid or sung version]AND WORLDS END DANCEHALL)HE'S A GREAT VOCALOID PRODUCER AS WELL A GREAT SINGER IN HIS BAND
I would definitely recommend more GHOST songs, they have some amazing cool vibes and visuals
You absolutely HAVE to listen to Corpse Dance by Kikuo and Honey I'm Home by GHOST.
I definitely recommend listening to more songs by Ghost/Ghost and Pals!
My favorites:
The Distortionist
Honey, Im Home
Apitite Of A People Pleaser
Housewife Radio
As soon as he said Candle Queen
I SCREAMED I AM SO GLAD GHOST WAS ADDED INTO THIS I LOVE THEIR SONGS!
My personal favourite vocaloid songs are definitely Roki, Torinoko City, snowman and PianoxFortexScandal! I recommend those the most :D
The vocaloid rabbit hole is a really deep one, but so good! There's one offs like Echo and World is mine but some of my favorite are the ones that tie together!! The story of evil is amazing (the order of songs is Daughter of Evil, Servant of Evil and Message of Regret for the main three) but the Bad End Night series is good (this order I'm not sure of I know theres Bad End Night, Everlasting Night and Crazy Night but I'm not aware which is which in the lineup) There's also ones like Alice Human Sacrfice that is a whole story in the one song!!
matther im supposed to be asleep its 12 am
CANT STOP ME FROMING WATCHING H A
i love the the choices are from so many range of years of vocaloid and the inclusion of Gumi's English voice bank
Please react to Jonkagor's music!! He's so underrated but his music is absolutely pleasing!!
YES YES
"how can they get all this emotion in there?" wait till he hears when people make them *breathe*
I guess my goal for vocal synths in general (specifically for English) is trying to make pronunciation clear and properly timed
My Azo Sorabara Voicebank is currently being tested in OpenUtau as it has features to make pronunciation more smooth and clear
"If copycat is the first song..."
"NDKANDHJDJSL"
Echo is so good, a V-Tuber named Akai Haato did a cover of it that is incredible
u should react to people tuning vocaloids to sound the most realistic possible (they even add breaths and stuff), it's impressive
