Shortly after Team17 took over, several of the foliage pieces in the editor suddenly gained collision, breaking several courses. This and many other problems with the editor have not been fixed in the years they've had the game. I don't know if those trees were a casualty of this event, but it broke my first course with the collision on the ferns 😔 Also, the reason there can be more than one flag for each hole is that individual holes are tied to their spawn rather than their flags! Then the course maker has to put out-of-bounds barriers around holes to prevent people from going to a different hole than intended. I played through the original Sonic the Hedgehog course while watching this, and Hole 3 seems to be the only thing substantially changed. I will say, this is definitely not my favorite of LeOssi's courses. Especially that hole that straight-up lies to you to yeet :V

I just how beans continues to find its way into what is said on these channels. First rolling the beans is used to roll the Patreon ticker on Breakfast Stream and now its the power gauge for this game.

I for one think that this channel REALLY benefits from more Sonic related content, and this was a REAL treat to see today. Edit: This course design really reminds me of the Green Hill Zone you get 100% completing Sonic Adventure 2.

If you're morbidly curious, there's a set of ROM hacks for the Genesis Sonic games known as "Snolf" that let you play the games with a golf control scheme of setting your angle and power. As you would expect, a lot of Sonic levels are *not* designed with golf in mind but they're worth a chuckle. There's also a Snolf version of Sonic CD and a Snolf mod for the fangame "Sonic Robo Blast 2." I'd recommend the more recent "Snolf Tournament Edition" (yes, this is a thing) which is the most up-to-date version of this horrible golf nightmare.
Oh, I LOVE the new endslate!! Alternate title for this video: Things Overheard in an Orgy. (I wonder if Michael Guy Bowman's cover of I Don't Want To Miss A Thing would fly, I think he'd allow it 🤔)
Honestly the majority of these holes are actually really well-designed- it's just that Stephen trying to cheat the holes makes him gain more strokes. If he colored inside the lines and thought inside the box, the holes are fine.
This Sonic the Hedgehog themed golf course looks amazing and outstanding the person who made this I'll give them thumbs up for doing a very good job creating this Sonic themed golf course this my favourite golf with your friends episode of all time because I'm a very huge Sonic fan of all time.
Wow okay. I got to at least give the level creator points for making this all work somehow. It must have taken a lot of effort and I can see what they were trying to do. The course just ended up being too convoluted I think.

Funny thing is there is a Sonic 1 (or was it 2?) Romhack called "SNOLF" essentuly you have to treat sonic like a golf ball instead of platforming
