Every time I pair them it just say, "An app is needed to use this device." Yet they aren't supported on the skullcandy app. Literally will not let me use them on my note 10.
Try this folks: In my case, the left bud stopped working properly (wouldn't pair, would post "On" but didn't seem to stay powered on) and the red light didn't turn on when set inside the case. My right bud seemed to be working properly and the red light would turn on when set inside the case. Here's the method that got me back up and running when the reset methods provided by Skullcandy didn't work: 1) Place both buds back in the case. 2) Whichever bud isn't working properly probably won't light up its red light when inside the case, so press its button and then the red light should turn on. 3) Now seeing both red lights, press and hold both left bud and right bud buttons while still in the case and after a few seconds the red lights should blink once (off and right back on). 4) The buds should now both be communicating properly. If this works for you, please let me and Skullcandy know and please help me spread this fix. Thank you.

To answer you question. This often means they aren both charging. The case doesnt check if ear buds charged, so as soon as ONE charges FULLY, then the charging stops. Overtime the other earbud will slowly die more and more. Solutions? Follow this video guide. Then Take one earbud out and power it off. Charge the other too 100 percent. For everyone who’s confused, when you push it 6 time it is not flashing red, it’s solid blue and then when you put them in pairing mode it works, at least it did for me
When it went solid blue I held the button down on my left ear bud and it started flashing blue and red. I went back to my phone and the buds were there to choose. Took out the right bud and it’s working fine.
never mind i just figured it out i put them back in the case blue, powered them off with the buttons, took them out and powered them back on with the buttons and somehow that did it. not sure if you have to put them in and out, just repeating exactly what I did.
I bought the Skull Candy Indy evo and couldn't get them to work. So I took them back and bought the Sesh ones instead and had an insane amount of issues with BOTH. Skull Candy isn't worth the price.

A week ago I was so comfortable listening to music with the sesh evo, and suddenly 3 days ago the headphone on the right side ran out of battery. And it tends to not charge again or even turn on. And not all the YT tutorials or any guides have helped me. The red light on the right side simply did not appear again. Thank you very much for making me spend 44 dollars.
Bought for my daughter as her Christmas present, but wont both pair to her iphone despite trying to troubleshoot. From the large number of problems highlighted on this website it's very poor that Skullcandy continue to sell these faulty/unreliable products. They even have the gall to say I have to pay for the return postage
For anyone who has trouble with the right earbud here is what I did: I first forgot this device on Bluetooth. Then I reset using this video, not sure it did anything because my right earbud still would not blink red. I connected my left earbud to my phone and then just held down the button on my right earbud to manually turn it on. It said, “power on.” Now it somehow works Hope this helps at least one person
I pressed the left thwn the right six times but the rest dident work so i put them both back ib thw case held the big button ontil the charging indicator did a thing and now they both work so thanks i guess
It worked however, I wasn’t sure if it was going to work because after pressing them six times there was no “flashing red light” so I just went ahead and tried it anyway and it worked so pay no attention to the flashing red lights after you press them six times and you’ll be good to go!
These are my first wireless earbuds and I’m kind of disappointed already at the pairing process. I didn’t want to bring my case bc they are charged and too bulky for my pockets. I have to go back home and get them just to reset?

I found the information this video provided didn't work for me. However after playing around with them for a while I figured out how to CORRECTLY pair them when the right earbud doesn't work Step one: put both earbuds in the case then take them out Step two: click the right earbud 6x then they will go into pairing mode This will not work if the left earbud is in the case.. Literally no led light lights up on it, just the left one. It's probably dead, which idk how it happened cause last night both were working and I just casually put them back in the case. I have these earbuds. They are great. However, when the battery gets low it tells you, "battery low." It says it so loud, SO VERY LOUD, it kills the whole thing. You can be listening to music quietly or chatting on the phone when... BATTERY LOW!!!!! I have no idea how the engineers that made this did not see that being a problem and there is no way to turn it off. It is pretty annoying.
My left ear if was permanently red and I searched the internet, finding on Reddit that you need to wait for It to fully deplete of battery. I was tired of waiting so found this video, I attempted It thoroughly and throughout the whole thing It resolve d the problem with the left earbud. This video was a life saver and had me pulled back from the brink, thank you! 😇

You're a G. Also for people who try this my sesh Evo didn't light up red then turned off when I clicked 6 times. They both became solid blue than I manually turned them off by holding both again. Next time I powered them on they easily paired. Hopefully that helps!
It's funny my right one doesn't even bring out audio it only does when I put it in the case but like a second later once it goes Into charging mode no more audio
Absolute the most horrible Bluetooth earphones to pair with an android phone. It takes 10 minutes to finally pair and then only one ear is paired. Press a button and then its switched off. And this is my second pair, Scullcandy never again.these earphones are infuriating to operate.
Yeah nah sorry I spent about 2 hours rewatching this video and several others doing everything I could- I even assumed this could be a temperature issue and just left them on a side for a bit to cool off. Here's the method that got me back up and running when the reset methods provided by Skullcandy didn't work: 1) Place both buds back in the case. 2) Whichever bud isn't working properly probably won't light up its red light when inside the case, so press its button and then the red light should turn on. 3) Now seeing both red lights, press and hold both left bud and right bud buttons while still in the case and after a few seconds the red lights should blink once (off and right back on). 4) The buds should now both be communicating properly. Skullcandy = garbage. I have a set of RH-2232 headphones that have a failed left ear bud after only 4 hours of operation listening to audiobooks. Really frustrating ad I am on holiday and did not expect to be listening in mono. Yes uve tried every reset and no sound from left bud. Money back abd will never use Skullcandy brand again
I just picked some up for black Friday, used then long enough to pair, and listen to all of 2 songs, put them to fully charge and the next day I grab them to head off to work and the entire unit is completely dead! I put them to charge once again and my left bud doesn't even want to turn on.

My issue is that only one works at a time and they have separate listings on the phone, the earbuds are not pairing with each other. For several months now only the left one worked at all. I finally got the right one working again but they're still not paired with each other. I can only have music in one ear (either or, not both in stereo). I've been trying to figure it out and get them both working together again and have seen a few videos like this that suggest this same thing with pressing the buttons 6 times. Mine are a different model than this (S2BBW). Pressing the button 6x doesn't do what these did in the video. If you can suggest how to get them paired together again I would very greatly appreciate it! Now that I finally looked for and found the model number I'll see if I can find a manual.

I bought these a few days ago. I used them once and the right bud works but the left doesn’t work. The light doesn’t turn on at all and I can’t pair it.
Miltn when I got mine it was fine. I used it once for the whole day at work. I charged them then I brought them to work again and the right one still had a red light and the left just didn’t have anything
So apparently no ones ever had this problem ever, but my left ear but won’t even turn on. The light won’t come on it won’t make any noise. Literally nothing. The battery was full less than an hour ago but now nothing. My right ear bud is fully charged and working just fine, but the left one just pooped out completely and there is absolutely no sign of life. They haven’t been damaged at all since I got them (4 days ago). I tried looking everywhere to find out what the problem is but no one can seem to give me an answer. Everyone keeps telling me the same thing and that’s to turn it off and on. But it won’t do either. There’s no light, no sound, no nothing no matter what I do with it. I’m gonna charge it for another day but if I still get nothing I’m gonna smash it with a hammer and never buy anything skull candy brand again. Edit: my phone tried to autocorrect pretty much every word in this entire paragraph so I had to go back and fix it.
I am really disappointed with my purchase of the Skullcandy Sesh..... i purchased the Skullcandy Crusher before this and i am really happy with the product hut the Sesh is a total waste... i have to reset my sesh and pair it with my device everytime.... Sesh gets disconnected from time to time for no damn reason n the sound on the right earbud abruptly stops working or get distorted.... the funniest part is the battery, in spite of it being in the charging case even for 24hours or more, the moment i remove them the charging case it shows 90% remaining... How in the world is it even possible? Battery life is pathetic, the worst i've ever seen.... I really repent buying these and wasting my money, i could have bought something better.... The trouble shooting on the instruction manual is WAYY different. It says: Keep earbuds inside charging case. Quick tap 7x on one earbud til it blinks three times then do the same to the other earbud. Remove both from the charging case an it'll be ready to pair to your phone.
You have to put them back in the case after you press it 6 times. And you have to do that to the left one and then the right and when you take them out it should connect when you go to bluetooth and search for devices
My right skull not powering at all and not chaffing, hoervet every time I place it into the cascet, the charger start to signaling light, but the led on the skull not working, not responding or me when I try to power it on
@Oof Erz hi, it was bugged, I let it sit on the table for whole night and used the other one,, until it was totally out of charge, then the next day I placed them in the charger and now it work fine!

The left bud is supposed to be able to connect to a device and work by itself but for some reason for mine only my right ear bud will connect to my phone 🤷♂️. No idea what is going on with this product
For the people that’s having a hard time make sure your charger bank is dead and the ear buds are dead after place both ear buds back into the bank and then charge the bank easy fix hope dis helps
Literally tried everything in the book just to get my left one to charge, and all I had to do was press the damn button six times and boom- started charging. Thanks bud.
After messing with these brand new out of the box for about 20 minutes. Hold the left bud in all the way till it turns red. Put in case. Do the same with right. Put in case (both should be flashing red) pull them out. If done right only left with be flashing. Right should of just lit up blue and should have no lights. I also held the button in on the case for good measure. If you mess with it enough using this method it should work.

I got a pair of these for christmas last year, they worked fine for a while, but i stopped using them for about a month... and then when i wanted to use them again, they won't work, they wont charge or turn on.

I finally got them to connect after about 2hrs (not from this video) and it was the weirdest thing. After resetting them (unpair/forget from bluetooth settings then put them in the case and holding both down for 6s then pause then hold again for 10s) I then turned on bluetooth, then FROM SETTING MENU NOT THE DROP DOWN MENU FROM PHONE, went to settings- then bluetooth and for some DAMN REASON only in the settings bluetooth option it showed "INDY FUEL" TWICE ?? I dunno why?? So I went and hit BOTH of them and THATS WHEN BOTH SIDES FINALLY CONNECTED?? UHM okay? But istg if I have to do that every time I have to connect them, what even is the point?

@Radhika Thakkar Sad to say but airpods are designed and made thinking of the user. That's why they charge out the a**. If I could avoid apple products I would but no other brand does what they do. imo
I found the information this video provided didn't work for me.
However after playing around with them for a while I figured out how to CORRECTLY pair them when the right earbud doesn't work
Step one: put both earbuds in the case then take them out
Step two: click the right earbud 6x then they will go into pairing mode
This will not work if the left earbud is in the case.. YOUR WELCOME!!
I forgot to mention turn off Bluetooth and forget on device before starting these steps

Literally no led light lights up on it, just the left one. It's probably dead, which idk how it happened cause last night both were working and I just casually put them back in the case. First day of use by the way.

I have these earbuds. They are great. However, when the battery gets low it tells you, "battery low." It says it so loud, SO VERY LOUD, it kills the whole thing. You can be listening to music quietly or chatting on the phone when... BATTERY LOW!!!!! I have no idea how the engineers that made this did not see that being a problem and there is no way to turn it off. It is pretty annoying.
My left ear if was permanently red and I searched the internet, finding on Reddit that you need to wait for It to fully deplete of battery. I was tired of waiting so found this video, I attempted It thoroughly and throughout the whole thing It resolve d the problem with the left earbud. This video was a life saver and had me pulled back from the brink, thank you! 😇

You're a G. Also for people who try this my sesh Evo didn't light up red then turned off when I clicked 6 times. They both became solid blue than I manually turned them off by holding both again. Next time I powered them on they easily paired. Hopefully that helps!

Absolute the most horrible Bluetooth earphones to pair with an android phone. It takes 10 minutes to finally pair and then only one ear is paired. Press a button and then its switched off. And this is my second pair, Scullcandy never again.these earphones are infuriating to operate.

Yeah nah sorry I spent about 2 hours rewatching this video and several others doing everything I could- I even assumed this could be a temperature issue and just left them on a side for a bit to cool off. I've had the buds for about 7 months. They work great I just never thought this would be an issue
Cant believe i wasted my money of these. I am on my second set after the first set was faulty. I should have returned them instead of getting a replacement. The second set worked for a couple months. Now its nothing but issues related to charging and pairing.
I've tried this several times and my right earbud still won't pair with my phone, or the other earbud.
The right earbud doesn't say pairing it only says power on or power off
Pressing it 6 times and the light never turned red it stayed flashing blue.

You need to hold the button on both earbuds for a minimum of 5-7 seconds for It to enter pairing mode, that's how It worked for me.
Try this folks:
In my case, the left bud stopped working properly (wouldn't pair, would post "On" but didn't seem to stay powered on) and the red light didn't turn on when set inside the case. My right bud seemed to be working properly and the red light would turn on when set inside the case. Here's the method that got me back up and running when the reset methods provided by Skullcandy didn't work:
1) Place both buds back in the case.
2) Whichever bud isn't working properly probably won't light up its red light when inside the case, so press its button and then the red light should turn on.
3) Now seeing both red lights, press and hold both left bud and right bud buttons while still in the case and after a few seconds the red lights should blink once (off and right back on).
4) The buds should now both be communicating properly.
If this works for you, please let me and Skullcandy know and please help me spread this fix.

Skullcandy = garbage. I have a set of RH-2232 headphones that have a failed left ear bud after only 4 hours of operation listening to audiobooks. Really frustrating ad I am on holiday and did not expect to be listening in mono.
Yes uve tried every reset and no sound from left bud. Money back abd will never use Skullcandy brand again
I just picked some up for black Friday, used then long enough to pair, and listen to all of 2 songs, put them to fully charge and the next day I grab them to head off to work and the entire unit is completely dead! I put them to charge once again and my left bud doesn't even want to turn on.

bro im abaut to smash them to peaces...i had them for maybe a day! the right ear bud does not work but the blue light is just there . and now i unpaired them from my bluetooth and now i cant even find them i think that i have tried it all + there is also purple flashing when i press 6 times.
My issue is that only one works at a time and they have separate listings on the phone, the earbuds are not pairing with each other. For several months now only the left one worked at all. I finally got the right one working again but they're still not paired with each other. I can only have music in one ear (either or, not both in stereo). I've been trying to figure it out and get them both working together again and have seen a few videos like this that suggest this same thing with pressing the buttons 6 times. Mine are a different model than this (S2BBW). Pressing the button 6x doesn't do what these did in the video. If you can suggest how to get them paired together again I would very greatly appreciate it!
Now that I finally looked for and found the model number I'll see if I can find a manual.

So apparently no ones ever had this problem ever, but my left ear but won’t even turn on. The light won’t come on it won’t make any noise. Literally nothing. The battery was full less than an hour ago but now nothing. My right ear bud is fully charged and working just fine, but the left one just pooped out completely and there is absolutely no sign of life. They haven’t been damaged at all since I got them (4 days ago). I tried looking everywhere to find out what the problem is but no one can seem to give me an answer. Everyone keeps telling me the same thing and that’s to turn it off and on. But it won’t do either. There’s no light, no sound, no nothing no matter what I do with it. I’m gonna charge it for another day but if I still get nothing I’m gonna smash it with a hammer and never buy anything skull candy brand again.
Edit: my phone tried to autocorrect pretty much every word in this entire paragraph so I had to go back and fix it.
i dont know why but my left earbud is more quieter than it used to be.
Mine did the same thing, I just took out the pad thing and used a toothpick to scrape whatever was clogging up the speaker and put the pad back on.

I am really disappointed with my purchase of the Skullcandy Sesh..... i purchased the Skullcandy Crusher before this and i am really happy with the product hut the Sesh is a total waste... i have to reset my sesh and pair it with my device everytime.... Sesh gets disconnected from time to time for no damn reason n the sound on the right earbud abruptly stops working or get distorted.... the funniest part is the battery, in spite of it being in the charging case even for 24hours or more, the moment i remove them the charging case it shows 90% remaining... How in the world is it even possible? Battery life is pathetic, the worst i've ever seen.... I really repent buying these and wasting my money, i could have bought something better.... I will definitely never recommend any1 to buy the Sesh

The trouble shooting on the instruction manual is WAYY different. It says: Keep earbuds inside charging case. Quick tap 7x on one earbud til it blinks three times then do the same to the other earbud. Remove both from the charging case an it'll be ready to pair to your phone.

You have to put them back in the case after you press it 6 times. And you have to do that to the left one and then the right and when you take them out it should connect when you go to bluetooth and search for devices

My earbud asks for a code to connect, I dont have a code on my phone
For the code I used the model number that it has on the lid and it worked for me.
My right skull not powering at all and not chaffing, hoervet every time I place it into the cascet, the charger start to signaling light, but the led on the skull not working, not responding or me when I try to power it on
@Oof Erz hi, it was bugged, I let it sit on the table for whole night and used the other one,, until it was totally out of charge, then the next day I placed them in the charger and now it work fine!

The button on the left earbud clicks cleanly when pushed. The right one is mushy and I never know if it's clicking cleanly or not.

I’ve had mine all of TWO WEEKS and no matter what, I can’t get any sound to come out of the right earbud. This was my first introduction to wireless headphones, and I think I’m gonna go back to wired.

For the people that’s having a hard time make sure your charger bank is dead and the ear buds are dead after place both ear buds back into the bank and then charge the bank easy fix hope dis helps

Literally tried everything in the book just to get my left one to charge, and all I had to do was press the damn button six times and boom- started charging. Thanks bud.
After messing with these brand new out of the box for about 20 minutes. Hold the left bud in all the way till it turns red. Put in case. Do the same with right. Put in case (both should be flashing red) pull them out. If done right only left with be flashing. Right should of just lit up blue and should have no lights. I also held the button in on the case for good measure. If you mess with it enough using this method it should work.

I followed instructions and maybe pressed the headphone 6 times and then did it again because my left earbud didn’t show the red light instead it was blue when I put it back in the case -- all in all though it worked (my right earbud was the one that’s wouldn’t pair)

I finally got them to connect after about 2hrs (not from this video) and it was the weirdest thing.
After resetting them (unpair/forget from bluetooth settings then put them in the case and holding both down for 6s then pause then hold again for 10s)
I then turned on bluetooth,
then FROM SETTING MENU NOT THE DROP DOWN MENU FROM PHONE, went to settings- then bluetooth and for some DAMN REASON only in the settings bluetooth option it showed "INDY FUEL" TWICE ?? I dunno why?? So I went and hit BOTH of them and THATS WHEN BOTH SIDES FINALLY CONNECTED??

But istg if I have to do that every time I have to connect them, what even is the point?

@@mke_gal What I did was I glitched the other bud until it made the soild blue color like other one, then I placed both into the charger and press and hold on them until they both turned off
I bought these a few months ago, and the left one doesnt produce sound at all. It has stressed me out a lot as a suffer with Mental issues and Music is a Stress relief so when one doesn’t work I get extremely angry.
