      The narrative for saitama is that he always wins so that means he no diffs superman even though he doesnt have the feats for it (yet) l.

      @@vroomzoom4206 No character can always win against any and all higher beings as that’s not how the tier system works, there will always be someone more powerful as they are created in the boundless tier. The boundless tier extends infinitely so there can’t be a being that will always be more powerful than any fictional character. Even boundless beings can lose and have limits. So no Saitama isn’t boundless lol, he’s multi solar system level. He’s just more powerful than the beings that he’s fought. Narrative doesn’t mean a character can go by the No limits fallacy.

    This is basically the example of Stan Lee's quote "The writer decides who wins"

    Many people also use narratives to argue a character would beat other characters outside their verse.
    Example.
    One of the primary arguments saitama fans use is that his narrative is to never lose and beat his foes in one punch.
    This is one of the arguments they use to say saitama can beat characters who are far better in feats and scaling than him

      Thank you,they think because he is unbeatable in his verse,he'll be unbeatable in other verses,and that kind of argument can be made for many characters but opm fans are simply usually delusional

    Which reminds me could the death battle between guts and nightmare be considered a narrative win for guts,cus if I remember correctly by how they explained,night mare is more powerful than guts but guts fights opponents more powerful than himself

    I know this may sound stupid, but I wonder if Gojo can survive from jujutsu Kaisen, since in the current chapters, he was able to literally use reverse close technique to stop his neck, been completely cut off his body, so theoretically, he could potentially stop a heart attack, and his willpower is very good since how cocky he is, like there’s like another video I believe I don’t fully remember what it is, but I could search it up if anyone wants me to name the video or even show a link, that he can actually probably resist the control of Makima, since she can only control people who she believes it, that they are weaker than her, and Gojo was literally stated to literally change the world since he was born, and I also believe that was another reason I heard, and some other arguments, but that’s all I fully remember without having to rewatch the video, if anyone wants to I am fully willing to send the video link

    Would being above a concept like time or death grant the person 4d or above scaling?

    • @surfbone
      @surfbone  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No, time has nothing to do with dimensionality. Nor does Death. You would context from the series itself to back that up if that’s to be true for said character.

    • @voidgod7178
      @voidgod7178 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@surfboneait so does this mean that solely being above the concept of space makes you outerversal,I usually think space and time can be exchanged with one another when scaling in terms of dimensionality and some even view time as being fourth dimensional in some cases g

    • @surfbone
      @surfbone  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@voidgod7178 being above the concept of space or dimensionality is Outerversal. But what I implore you to remember is that context is everything. And don’t solely rely upon certain phrases or words being present. Because sometimes a statement that includes “transcends space and time” could in context be part of an Outerversal statement. But context could easily make that mean something completely different. So be careful
