    So I've learnt that carboxylic acids grew up in nurturing homes. If a proton wants to up and leave, they know that all will be okay, for they have learnt to soothe themselves with resonance; talk about a secure attachment style.

    This is a GREAT video! Such amazing consolidation of information. The audio on Maggie’s end is intermittently garbled and broken though.

      You have to know the values for the NH3 and COOH group on all of them and then the R group for the "basic" and "acidic" ones!

    Hi John and Maggie! I'm confused about the PH question. I don't understand why it isn't 9. The thing you called an oxyacid... why is that an acid. To me it looks like a strong base.

      Oh is it because the oh is not bonded to a metal. It's AOX?

    Would this topic technically cover solutions as well?

    • @InformingFutureDoctors
      @InformingFutureDoctors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It covers a certain portion of solutions but doesn't go deep into equilibrium and kinetics and those are huge topics on the MCAT

    what was that black on black "joke" you were trying to make at 04:40? She's trying to make this application session what? Very unnecessary statement and if you were trying to be funny, shame on you.

      “Murdered out”, like when a car has all black paint and details. It’s a bit hard to hear what he said, but we mean no offense.
