    I love the white color man, I’ve owned 3 of these through out the years. A 95, 96 and now a 97. Super reliable cars man, super hard to find now days running and driving.

    it's 2023 and i'm a 1999 mk3 jetta wolfburg edition owner, mine also did not came with the sunroof but has roofracks, it has 200k miles and also in a rough state, however the A/C still works and the interior is complete, I'm mostly struggling with electrical issues including low beams not workin/blowing up the fuze and one of the rear lights (parking red light) not working AND my trunk activating the anti-theft alarm, AAANNND rust, but i want to restore it into looking back or better than new someday... when i get a job

    I used to have a 98 vw jetta k2 manual 2.0 with window electrical issues..I swapped out electric to manual window cranks when I sold it. it worked better at time I sold it than the whole time I ever owned the car lol I had many systems in it put everything back to stock when sold.. the spoiler did mad flex :))

    Damn, the US-versions have pretty damn nice features. I also like how they were sold as Jetta. :D
    I also own one, it's a 1995 Vento GLX, that's how it was called in Germany. ^^

    I have the same vibration at the same rpm did you ever do a video on how to fix?

    • @TheTikiReviews
      @TheTikiReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I never made a video on it! It's definitely the exhaust heat shield, you can put hose clamps around it and tighten the heck out of them to get rid of the noise but they tend to rust out in about a year and a half. You could cut the heat shield off altogether, but that's something I haven't done and wouldn't necessarily recommend given its purpose. A truly annoying sound but I learned to live with it in between hose clamp repairs.

    lol bro i have a 99 wolfsburg edition and i have a sunroof, got mine for $1,500 with 130k miles on it and runs like a champ, i do believe that you overpayed for it but hey it was from a dealership. lol also the power windows are common to go out i haven't seen one with all 4 working windows, as only 1 of mine actually goes up and down. haha now you need to get some chrome rims to spice it up

    Technically my first car was a 99 Jetta Wolfsburg edition. I paid $1000 for it from a sketchy Indian dealership. It broke down 2 or 3 miles away from the dealership. The Indian guy was nice enough to give me a ride back and refund me. Now I have 2002 Honda Civic coupe. Much better car yes
