Swiftpaw, the lone survivor of the zombie apocalypse and his zombie friend Brightpaw try to find a way to cure the zombified cats. In their search they receive a prophecy.

The last 8 months have been such a journey and I'm so glad I got to spend it with some of the most talented and inspiring animators i know. You all worked so hard and it shows, I owe this to you guys and the animators of mr fear 1 for bringing my silly zombie story to life. I couldn't have asked for a more creative, hard-working, and talented team. I've learned new things and made new friends and i'm so proud of how this all turned out. Thank you ♡

I think the fact that nobody noticed a part had been a WIP instead of the final product REALLY says how much effort everyone put into their work to the point where a WIP was apparently indistinguishable from the finished pieces

I love how Brightheart’s missing eye is yellow after she’s healed, showing Swiftpaw’s sacrifice of his living soul for her to continue on, almost like a part of him is living on inside her.
Fr tho it’s actually an unique lil feature
And how the scar looks the same as swiftpaw's face pattern is also a small detail

She’d probably also be a more interesting leader then bramble-star. Over all, Bright-Star should’ve been cannon. She deserved it. I wanna make an entire au about this now

I love how swiftpaw gave up his chance to live to save brightheart like how he did in the original series, again this is an amazing MAP
He was done so dirty both times between the original being screwed out of becoming a warrior simply off who trained him, and then the tree in this AU. Such a tragic character.
I find that a lot of MAPs are quite difficult to understand the plot and a lot of story can just be lost in the fast pace of the animation, and it can be hard to determine which character is which, due to the fact that there is no speech. But this MAP, along with all of Ginger's other MAPs, are so easy to understand what's happening at all times and the plot is portrayed by the animation so perfectly. I think this is a real skill we can credit to Ginger and the storyboarding, that the artist's were so easily able to bring the MAP to life, and paired with such incredible animators this is really a true masterpiece :0 incredible work
I didn't know of the first part to this au when I first watched this and now after watching it then re-watching this it makes so much Sense now

It's absolutely adorable, and shows that the zombies aren't bloodthirsty and mindless all the time.
i hadnt noticed any wips on my first or second watch of the original upload! everything already looked so complete and polished! this was an excellent map and im satisfied with how the story wrapped up. one of the few warrior cats maps that has recently brought me to tears
honestly i still don't notice the wips.

Such a brilliant M.A.P I actually cannot be the only one that ADORES The colouring the movements the designs I ESPECIALLY love the fact Swiftpaws backside has a mind of its own and can do its on things !!!
Again AMAZING!!! But still Swiftpaws legs followed some of his body’s commands which was so cool and unique!!! Must have been hard to animate them both to move at the same time :D

it's such a small detail but the fact you can see the cat that attacks brightpaw jumping from the stampede just before the part where it actually attacks her at 5:06 is so goddamn cool
this map's literally BRILLIANT, the storytelling, colors, animation... swift's little claw scuffles on the moonstone, and in the end sacrificing himself for brightpaw... you couldn't have pulled this one off better!!! kinda sad there won't be any more, this was an AMAZING concept though

Swiftpaw’s legs have as much character development as his upper half, maybe more
A lot of recent maps have been so good. This one in particular gave me goosebumps, made me tear up, gasp, and pause just to take in what I saw. Every single part is so so well done in this, and I love that it follows Swiftpaw. He’s one of my all time favorite cats from the first series.
Not to mention I’ve been obsessed with Part 1 since forever!! It makes me so happy I’m here to experience this AU, especially since Zombie AUs are my favorite. Great job to all the animators and thank you for the wonderful AU!!

Again, this is absolutely WONDERFUL each animator did amazing on their parts, I love admiring all the details and even how the second half or Swiftpaw has a mind of its own
ONCE AGAIN... this turned out even better than i could have ever imagined! i adore absolutely every aspect of this map and au to death! both maps and this au will go down in wcs history forever! every single part is a masterpiece in itself and everyone working together made the already emotional storyboard and script even more emotional! i will never get over swiftpaw giving his second life away for brightpaw... he was so young and all of this was his responsibility and it really shows! he'll go down in clan history for all of time, he didn't just save brightpaw, he saved them all! longstar must be so proud! and also longSTAR?? one of the best things to come out of this whole au! (everyone took that note on swiftpaw's ref about his bottom half sometimes having a mind of it's own to heart and it payed off in the best way imaginable)
Everyone did amazing poor and also love the relationship between starclan swift and bright it’s so goofy and adorable at the same time from the parts
why are MAP stories always so much better then the actual books, also i have no clue if its intentional but i love the parallel that brightheart and swiftpaw have where they are both the front of the chase and both die right when they think everything is going right. alsoalso props to the artists! wonderful work

I genuinely believe this is the best MAP I have ever watched be produced by the WC community. There is so much talent and creativity in the story and every individual part. I am absolutely blown away by what this group of artists could put together. Every participant should feel immensely proud.
6:06 HELLOOO this is so giving cartoon saloon’s wolf walker style, Its so gorgeous.
I know what stands out to me about this map specifically is the variation of art styles. From the 3D to the sketched disneyish 2d or even the comic book type shadings, every part is so different but still flow beautifully and seamlessly.
Idk if this is important, but at around 5:31 you can see longtail dripping. I was wonder if it’s resembling crying, as he blames himself for everything that has happened.
I really love how this AU actually has a happy ending!
I love the little details of Swift's back legs dancing around or struggling to catch up. I just find it such a fun detail. I love this au so much and this is def one of my favorites! The music choices too are amazing! And brightheart is finally getting the recognition she deserves, as well as swiftpaw! He's always been a fave of mine. Same with Longtail. I just wish that swiftpaw could've done more before he died. Anyways, amazing map, and good job to all the animators! It definitely paid off! ❤❤❤

I'm so glad all of these animators could come together to make SUCH A GOOD MAP. It's so sweet, and wrapped everything up perfectly!!
I find the concept of Swiftpaw's ghost finding a way to communicate with and help Brightheart so darn precious, and the way that the MOONSTONE was the cure is genius!!
And then Swiftpaw sacrifices himself for her at the end by transferring his life into her-?! Oh my heart... this is so beautiful!! Every artist did fantastic on this- each style flowed together SO well!!

5:06 the way the camera shakes here is AWESOME
Had me shaking in shock at how insanely good this is. The story itself is so well planned and written I have no clue how someone could create such a touching masterpiece.
It was such a good choice to have Swiftpaw cut in half like that! The animation everyone did for him was so cool! That view at 3:30 was really well done, love seeing detailed backgrounds!
This map is a real masterpiece! I often say things like this to animators but THIS MAP IS CLEARLY ON THE NEXT LEVEL!! I almost cried because of how good this is! Congratulations to everyone who participate in this stunning piece of art!!! We all enjoyed your work so much!!
THERE WAS AN ACCIDENTAL WIP!? i am speechless, i did not even notice. as i said before, the work of these talented animators never ceases to impress me, and i am indescribably joyful that i was able to make it to the premiere of this MAP (my first premiere ever too). Lovers Brothers Killers is one of my new favorite projects of all time-- keep up the amazing work! ♡
I saw the original upload earlier and I tell you, I cannot stop watching this on repeat. I didn't even notice that there was a WIP part in there! I had to look between both versions for a minute to notice the difference. Everything was fleshed out so well. Seeing Swiftpaw's rear try to keep up/getting distracted is too cute. Zombie Brightpaw is adorable. 2:47
So about the rabbit in the beginning, I have a small theory that it’s the thing that started the whole zombie outbreak
Seeing Swiftpaws hind legs dance is something I didn’t know I needed but I’m all for it, now we need a map focused on his hind legs /JJJJ
The part where Swiftpaw gave his life so that Brightheart could have hers had me in tears immediately. This is so beautiful

I already said before that this looked absolutely phenomenal and i will say it again. It is paced extremely nicely and is eye candy for me. I adore how it flows together and the story jusz AHHH its amazing!

Animating the dancing hindlegs on Swiftpaw followed by Brightheart dancing was a blast LMAOOO I saw a few comments on that. I was laughing when I got the idea to make this too LOOOLLL
I just watched both parts and I haven’t really gotten into MAPs since 2016-2017 or so, this is one of my favorite series now and everyone did an AMAZING job!! ❤ glad to see the animation community is still thriving

the buildup to brightpaw being healed gets me every time.. the cuts to starclan, the way the music is played into the part itself.. guuhh
The color choices in this map are amazing, I love the stark muddy green yellows and the bright sunset pinks and purples, it’s an odd combo, but it’s very beautiful.

What i love, is that Brightheart's and Swiftpaw's relationship doesnt even read as romantic. Its left out in the open for people to interpretate. Considering Swiftpaw is Brightheart's half uncle

Idk if im correct, but the rabbit at 0:14 may be the reason the apocalypse happened in the first place
I believe a cat caught this rabbit, not knowing its infected and maybe another cat decided to eat it, and not seeing the fungi grow on it
Btw this map is amazing, but i would've liked it better if there were still a few cats left but it is what it is 🤷♂️
at 0:31 there is a cat-zombie with mushrooms growing on it as well. maybe that was the first zombie-cat that became infected and it infected other cats.

Ahhhh this is SO GOOD!! I saw the initial storyboards for this MAP and was so excited to see the final product, and it did NOT disappoint. I got chills multiple times and gasped out loud at the reveal of an epilogue. You can tell everyone really put their blood, sweat and tears into this, and it shows. I LOVE how Brightpaw and Swiftpaw’s friendship was portrayed, the muted earthy living world and the bright pastel StarClan are contrasted beautifully, and the shots of the rabbit at the beginning and ending made me genuinely a little bit emotional! (I also love the fact that there’s a happy ending, lord knows they deserve it lol) Definitely one of my new favourite MAPs, great job to everyone who worked on it!
