Delphi: Sir, I can't think of any possible reason why you'd expect killing someone for their boots is acceptable.
Corrin: It's for the greater good.
Delphi: I stand corrected.
Certified Game of Thrones Moment
I appreciate that Chrom's off to the side being like "Man, was killing that bear moral?"
I noticed that too. The "Killing a Bear" suggestion from the site. Chrom and Frederick be sweating wondering if they are morally incorrect and Lissa was right about not eating bears.
Wasnt it frederick who actually killed the bear?
"Continuing to conquer and continuing to kill"
-It's wrong
"Continuing to reconquer and continuing to kill in retaliation"
-It's expected
Delphi has spoken: all units are expendable sometimes often for gaiden chapters
I asked delphi, and turns out using the devil axe is immoral.
What if it’s for the greater good?
As a friend, you are… replaceable.
@@thenailsageofgeo4975
Using the Devil Axe for the greater good? I'm kinda sure you're bluffing. No sane person would think that using the Devil Axe is a reasonable option by the way. Only a madman that is backed into a corner would use it.
But only if you kill them directly.
If you send them to their death, it's wrong
“Marrying a Hoshido royal”
-It’s fine
“Marrying a Nohr royal”
-It’s fine
“Marrying Azura”
-It’s wrong
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Well, it is the only case of being actually related by blood.
Excel, I would love to see a run where you make moral decisions off this website. Might be a fun way to play three houses too, with all the text options
Is Edlelgard correct in her actions?
Finally, a canonical answer!
@@katashiakia6763 just tested.
“It’s not ok”
Take that, simps.
this sounds really fun actually
@@ryanprusak8524 Edlelgard was right.
I copy pasted the lyrics of “Rules of Nature” into Delphi and I got “It’s good”
MEMES, THE DNA OF THE SOUL
"As long as it's for the greater good, you can justify anything."-Arvis as he roasts Sigurd and his friends whilst stealing his wife.
"As long as you do it for the greater good, you can justify anything."
Excelblem discovers the secret to politics.
Praise Edelgard route!
Killing Shura for his boots is okay as long as it's for the greater good
Shura is a criminal after all.
I was laughing my ass off throughout the whole thing
Can't wait for you to use "for the greater good" as an excuse for literally anything from now onwards
Ask
"Using the arena to gain 999,999 gold and destroy the entire Altean ecomony"
"spending100,000 gold, the entire pension fund to train units, "
"spending 57,000 gold from the Altean charity to forge a weapon"
"spending 132,800 gold needed to repair cities and villages to forge a weapon"
- It's wrong
- it's wasteful
- it's wrong
- it's bad
Guess Delphi doesn't have her place in Marth's world, huh.
@@whitefri2z "As an AI, you are, _malfunctioning."_
I've run some tests, and it seems like almost anything short of "World destruction" or "Universal destruction" can be made "okay" by appending "for the greater good" at the end. This even includes "Eliwood".
Delphi opinions on Three Houses:
Edelgard - Good
Dimitri - Not Good
Claude - Not Good
Rhea - Unacceptable
Do with this information what you will.
Wait, Edelgard didn't do anything wrong?
Edelgard did war crimes for the greater good, so it's fine.
And as for Rhea, they're just dracodivinophobes.
welp, crimson flower is the canon route, the AI said so

Delphi has presented me with a conundrum.
A: Sacrificing Vanessa's love life, so Lute can have a friend is wrong.
B: Making Lute never make a friend, so Vanessa can have a love life is also wrong.
I need help.
Simple. Vanessa shouldn't have any love life and Lute shouldn't have any friends.
Only by dying alone can you preserve this beautiful balance.
solution: kill both vanessa and lute
The answer is yuri
@@sohn7767 The answer is ALWAYS Yuri
@@samvanderstaak7296 Except when it's yaoi
Opportunity for loophole: Any gain is considered the greater good, no matter the size of the gain.
Delphi shield has a new meaning
"Edelgard you must stop this war!" "Shut up Dimitri my shield says it's ok"
You just have this flying unit up in the sky, far enough away from everyone that no one can hear them, and they just start rattling off moral quandaries to their shield that protects them from arrows.
@@GolemAvalanche
*_Delphi Shield Emblem_*
"Marth is not OK" we all agree on that one
“Edelgard” _Program crashes_
“Arvis” _Computer bursts into flames_
Ask delphi if it's ok to "Dislike war yet participate in it"
And
"Speaking of rights while in a tank"
Curious!
Supposedly, it is hypocritical for the first, and inappropriate for the second
So Gaiden chapters are almost as morally acceptable as the greater good.
"Killing red recruitable units for experience points"
-It's good
I mean, that's how games roll.
"Let's skip forward a bit"
Tellius erasure: it is not acceptable.
I'll take it that any mention of Edelgard will make the site crash.
Anyway, I thought that the answer to all moral questions was simply making a sufficiently large excel sheet with relevant data?
I put in just "Edelgard" and it said "It's good"

Her ideals and ambitions are not bad but her terminal illness makes her take things a little bit too extreme.
@@xxx_jim_the_reaper_xxx Can you really go that extreme when your going to destroy a system of extreme oppression when you have incredibly minimal time due to a terminal illness?
She did the right thing and Byleth being there for her in crimson flower helps her a lot.
@@AbstractTraitorHero
Yeah, that's just how you put it.
@@xxx_jim_the_reaper_xxx Yeah, I mean this is a caste system with a full on religious stranglehold and feudalism.
You can't go any harder, do whatever needs to be done, no movement has ever succeeded at anything peacefully without violence.
Edelgard was in a position of extreme power and she moved to use it, this action was right, she's in the right.
You can merely argue her methods might be foolish or wrong, but not really the true morality of her actions.
Sacrafice means wasting a life, aka a net negative
Killing on the other hand.... is you taking a life. Which is a net positive

Delphi truly understands FE4, unlike FE5
Delphi hasn't played FE5 yet don't spoil them
What?
What do you mean by fe5 doesent understand fe4?
"Killing the emperor to avenge your father, who was killed by this very same emperor 17 years ago, and this emperor is also the father of the guy who got possessed by the evil god Loptous and commits regular child's hunts."
-It's wrong
Guys Seliph is actually the bad guy in FE4!
Now I can finally say, Arvis did nothing wrong
@@mauricioalvarezpino1818
He is.
He's just doing the greater good for his own kingdom by killing the Army Commander to end the war.
Seliph ONLY killed him because of revenge which is just a personal interest and also it is morally-wrong when you look at it.
Siding with edelgard: wrong
Siding with dimitri: wrong

I did the math once for figuring out how long it takes the kids to grow up in the Deeprealms in real time. The answer I got was 6 weeks. Based on Hisame's paralogue anyway.
Hinata says a couple of key things in the paralogue.
1) Hisame wasn't a teenager last time Hinata visited
2) Hinata thought it had been a matter of days since his last visit but realizes it might have been weeks
Assuming Hisame is 18 when recruited (because Corrin can marry Hisame and have kids with him) the shortest amount of time that could have passed is 6 years from 12 to 18 since this is the first time Hinata has visited Hisame as a teenager.
Further assuming that Hinata has two functioning braincells and/or a calendar, it has likely been roughly 2 weeks since his last visit, and highly unlikely to have been more than 3 weeks.
6 years in 2 weeks = 18 years in 6 weeks
A third of Corrin's army is less than 2 months old (unless you highball it to 6 years in 3 weeks, making it 9 weeks total, much better)
This makes one key assumptive failure: That Corrin has a moral compass
I refuse to believe Percy is 18, he just isn't
Fates bad
@@thekingofvithen1893 neither Midori nor Percy are 18, and to be honest, most child units look 16 at most, Corrin has absolutely no moral compass
Moral compass aside, it's absolutely fucked up how the children in Fates were robbed from their parents (and vice versa). Imagine your parents only visit you once every year and each time you became one age closer to your parents to the point you are pretty much the same age as them. These kids must have serious parental issues, perhaps that's why they're so willing to marry Corrin at such young age
I was actually sad when the video ended. Also disappointed you didn't put "eating raw flour for the greater good"
might as well stream doing the "what war crime do you commit in fire emblem" quiz that's been going around the subreddit at this point. Would be entertaining to watch

Looks like Delphi just likes Athena
I mean people die in war, you know. Why sacrifice your own units when you can just intentionally kill them directly for our goddess Athena.
Delphi told me that playing fates and genealogy is wrong but playing heroes is good. Make of that what you will
I love how sacrificing characters for other character's sake is morally wrong until you remove the character's name and you treat it as losing a thing to get another
Because knowing the persons name means you (usually) have a personal connection to them
Can you please try: "Can I leave my husband because he has a crippling orange addiction"
For those wondering, skinship is wrong. So to all the people who wanted that in the international release of Fates, you are morally incorrect
Even if it's with your little sister?
@@shytendeakatamanoir9740 Typing "skinship with your little sister" wasn't something I planned to do today, but nope, still wrong
