So, I personally think that Wrecker's ult should work exactly the opposite of how it does currently: It should have a high amount of starting damage, and lose damage the longer that you fly around with it. This has a lot of advantages. It means that the ult can either be used as a short range high damage nuke *OR* a long range fly/teleport across the map... But not both. It gives it either split push OR team fight utility, but not both with the same use of the ult. It also gives the ult a totally different identity from Grey Talon's.
About calico..... her turrets are op as fuck... they last 2 min and you can put so many down and they can have 70m range, its stupid. most people just put them as high as possible on buildings and you cant deal with it, eventually you just have 10 turrets out of range. the melee build isnt even the op part.
I agree - it's not just the survivability, it's the upgrades. Her fully upgrade cat turrets give 50% healing reduction, 30% damage reduction, and 30% lifesteal all without needing any items. That's a better healbane and suppressor before you've even added those items to your build. I think they're gonna take a lot of tuning because they're basically just significantly better ginnis turrets at the moment.
Beside all the over tuned stats like their health pool and range and such, they're also just stupid annoying with the constant meowing. I shouldn't have to dedicate 2 full magazines to kill just 1.
Fathom's ideology is SUPER similar to a hero idea I posted on the deadlock forums back in early May of this year! Initially I pitched the idea of a "Drunken sailor" with a throwable anchor ult, and weapon scaling abilities that are very similar! I'm so happy to see fathom in the game!
Sorry to ruin the fun but his "anchor" ult is most likely an adaptation of Slark's ult from dota 2. Fathom (formely known as Slork) is heavily inspired by slark. Although if, when the character is finished, he does use an anchor maybe it was cus of u ;)
for viper they only need to nerf the evasion, we already have someone who can infinitely slide with great control, shiv, so that part doesn't need any change
Shiv can't slide like this. There are videos of people never getting up from slide. Not to mention you can get her to over 1300 dps with little effort.
Fathom seems like an ambush character, you got to think like a shark in order to play him right: Lie low and sneak up on enemies or hide until they come, and once they're there you pounce. I'm gonna play the jaws theme when I play him to get that mentality
I dislike how integral his 2 is in getting your gun damage online. The fire rate is SO SLOW. So late in the game, I have to be like "Okay guys, I need 40 seconds of nothing happening to slurp a few minions and now I can deal damage"

I found a fun bug with Holliday. If you use the jump pad then grab the zipline immediately after. She keeps the jump pad speed boost permenantly. She will have the effect still around her legs while running, but the stomp effect disappears. I found this while testing if you can ult someone and kidnap them with the zipline (you can).
Imma be mad if fathom doesnt get a skill that lets him dive into the floor like mo&krill and "swim towards his enemies with only the fin sticking out of the ground. That would be much better than the little jump he has and if he surfaces under enemies he knocks everyone close by prone/stuns them IMHO. Aside from that great vid, i enjoy the new deadlock content very much. Much love, Jonas
Fathoms 3 should be like a reaper dismiss except the animation is him diving into water, similar to Mo and Krills burrow but instead its like an escape tool, and when he levels it, it should heal him and clear debuffs.
Calico have so much map control, her turret can deal significant chunks if you don't deal with them right away and it causes you to enter fights without full hp.
Answer to Calico's 2, I believe that it does Spirit damage but it counts as a Light Melee for stuff like Melee Lifesteal and Spirit Strike but currently buying melee damage doesn't increase its damage and it currently ignores Spirit Resist and is only reduced by Melee Resist. It's weird. Correction: It's weapon damage that scales with Spirit. Anything that lowers Bullet Resist increases the damage and Bullet Resist reduces the damage.
Holliday is looking like the third for me, the fun feels like Lady Geist’s and it just seems like a fun one to play, can’t wait for them to be out fully
viper is currently the most broken charecter in the game as you can have aver 1500 dps without hitting headshots and his gun has infinite ammo techniquely. I feel everything in his kit is pretty decent, but his gun in every part of the game is to strong. If you were to half his damage it might still be too strong. I feel nothing in his kit needs a nerf other than his gun. They could release him tomorrow if they just halfed his gun damage and I think most people would be fine with it. There are plenty of counters to his gun sure, but i am able to "kill" the training dummies in less than a 1 second with just his gun hitting headshots. You literally don't need anything but his passive and his gun for him to obliterate anything and everything.
It might only be 86 meters per second on Magician's gun but it hits like a dump truck. I think we'll see Cowgirl, Cat Lady and Lizard Woman officially first. Calico needs some reworking though
Surprised Jonas didn't catch on to the fact that Viper has absolutely obscene gun damage and really bad gun range. This man can kill any champion in laning phase with 1 clip if he's a crack shot and gets close enough with a slide.
Yeah they reduced her mag size down to only 16, her gun goes through that in fractions of a second, but since her whole kit is designed around sliding, she genuinely just needs less bullet damage overall. People are getting her to like 1300 dps by mid-late game.
With wrecker i feel like the ult should stay with a few tweaks. For one, the cooldown starts while youre in the ult so the ult basically has a 15s cooldown. The rest of her abilities need to be completely reworked, she is by far the worst laning hero in the game and thats probably why she seems so uninteractive since you cant kill anyone until you get ult built up so ur stuck farming to get items while also getting farmed by the enemy team. You cant do anything until you have the items to just sit in spawn and ult. The ult is halarious imo and hope it stays, i just really want to see changes to the rest of her kit because that right now feels the most out of place.
Damn, Viper could be so much better, change first ability and ultimate, make the first ability either a passive or and active that give you poison/corrosive attribute like a small dot or defense shred... and the ult, give her run fast speed and ability to walk on walls, would be a very mobile character on the map

If you get ricochet on Holliday and land a headshot, it reduces the cooldown by 2seconds (at max rank) PER enemy hit by the ricochet
