Thats the damn point. Riot wants people to be less toxic but then makes skins that have a ton of quotes disrespecting you if they kill you. If you get tilted easily, the only way to counteract that is by muting all voice, which should never be the case, because you shouldn't be forced to mute champion VO because one skin VO may tilt you.

Here's my explanation, Lux and the others are from a different squad and Lux is the captain of that group, and Ahri is the captain of her group, this would also explain why 1st Season star guardians particles are 5 point stars and 2nd season star guardians have 4 point stars

For what it's shown here, it seems Lux and Ahri are the leaders of two different teams. Lux is a novice while Ahri is a veteran, the fox speaks to rainbow's group with disrespect because she thinks they know nothing about being a true star guardian (except for Janna, who seems to be quite a veteran too). Star Guardians are "sisters on duty" but she doesn't takes them as guardians yet. On the other hand she leads a group of well experienced guardians being Sarah Fortune her second on lead or the closest member to her.
Seems like quite the bizzare ranking since lux was the og star guardian.

What's with all the hate on Ahri's lines? It's called smack talk, and it's in video games and TV shows all the time. We cheer when Tony Stark does it in Avenger movies. But Ahri does it? Oh no! She's a horrible person! She talks sweetly to her friends, and is ready to battle her opponents. A lot of these lines were taunts, or specifically victories over her opponents. Inspiration may have been drawn from bullies and the like, but, again, it's in the context of SMACK TALK. I'm so sick of "fan" bases getting steamed and salty whenever anything new is added to a game, especially League. You guys are toxic even outside the game! How can you even call yourselves fans? You act like spoiled children!

I agree everyone is allowed to have an opinion, but everyone is expressing it like spoiled children. You read into my statement a bunch of stuff I never said, and are talking with the same toxicity I was talking about. It was never the skin I was upset about, but the bad attitude and poor reasoning everyone was using. If you actually paid attention to what I was saying (like the things I actually said upset me or running themes) you would know that. Instead, you imagined what I meant, built up a straw-man argument in your head, and used foul language to do it. You have done nothing but prove my point.
I don't LOVE this skin; I never said I did. It's cool, but I wish she was less of a highschool pretty girl personality. There's plenty in LoL I don't like and other people do, and vice-versa. What's more important is how we treat people, and the League community doesn't do that well. In fact, it's known for being toxic, and I've been around the game long enough to know. You are helping make that image worse.
Also, Ahri was not meant to be a super sultry mysterious seductress, unless someone really messed up her back story. That's how her in-game character is, but it's a common misunderstanding. The actual story and personality she was given in her actual story, which has been re-written and added to, shows she's a complex character with a desire to NOT be a sultry seductress, and is moving away from that. Even the CGI short film with her running through the forest from Darius showed her as a compassionate person and a clever fighter. Yet, she's only shown in game as "sexy seductress." That's how it's been since she was introduced, and it is the opposite of the way she is portrayed in the game itself.
It's like if we made a character of Black Widow from the Avengers who only ever talked seductively about anything and everything, with the occasional attitude that the manipulates people. That's not her character, even if it was in the past, and people would riot if that actually happened, but that's been Ahri's identity since her release.

Sorry to burst your bubble to everyone complaining about Ahri being snotty or acting like a "bitch" with some of her interactions, but you clearly don't know who Ahri really is. She's not some goodie goodie girl, and she's not a full on bad girl either. She's a (fox)girl with a bad past who stays true to herself. She doesn't pretend to be good, or reformed or anything of that sort. She's always had attitude, and even as a star guardian she's defined as a "charismatic" leader. I think y'all complaining just get offended way too easily lol.
Okay after finally logging on to play a couple of games I've changed my mind. It's alright for her to be sassy, but her voice can get annoying really fast. Some of the phrases she says are also generic and not very clever. I specifically didn't like her as an announcer on summoners rift. My previous comment was about her in-game interactions which I still think are fine.
