Nice review, definitely tickles my curiosity. Not related but i picked up compass box oak cross and spaniard at $50 cad each. So far it is almost as good as tomatin 18 and arran 18. For the price its damn good

This is great whisky. I had never been interested in Dalmore, but when that one came out, I had to get one. The abv attracted me for sure.

That’s an error on LCBO’s part. Common mistake they make.

Wasn’t a fan of the cigar malt. Had that ammonia like taste I can’t stand.
Here in the USA the port wood currently is $86

Best Dalmore expression in the core lineup, especially given the price. I’d take it over the 18 if they were both priced the same.

I didn't like this one too much, pallet seemed kind of muted. I'm liking the cigar malt though so to each their own.
Interesting. I’ve only had one pour of the cigar malt but found it very sulphuric.
