Im on a 2017 Skandic WT 900 ACE right now. I find it awesome in the deep stuff but a real handful to control off trail and on. Off trail it wants to roll, on trail it wont corner. But being able to back up in 4 ft of snow is nice. Im really leaning to spring checking a Exp sport but Im not sure it will perform in the deep stuff on my trapline?? What do you think?
Just come off a 2009 expedition wt. Bought new expedition sport 900 a couple of weeks ago. Still getting use to it. Find it tippy so far. Been on its side twice. I have run skidoos since 1969. Thinking of putting wider skis as front end digs in. Would appeciate any feed back on wider skis.
Hi Robert, It felt the same for me especially going from a 24" Superwide track to a 16" track. It's a different chassis too. Once you get use to it, you can easily maneuver the Ski-Doo with your body weight in deep snow. Wider skis will also give you better flotation, and make sure your ski stance is set to widest setting like I did.
@@JeffreyHann Thanks Jeff. Only have 200 km on mine. Thank god I put the wrap around bumper as its been on its side twice. Both times front ski went down and I couldnt get to opposite side fast enough. Been riding since I was 16 but 65 year old man doesnt move to fast now. Lol. Look foward to future videos. I will let you know how I make out.
Thanks for taking me along for the ride!
You're welcome Ted. I've uploaded a night ride as well.
Thanks for not putting music in your video. The wind and engine noise is all that I want to listen too. You hear the track noise more than the engine.

Nice video Jeff! Can you put some videos in deep snow at low speed to see the capacity of the machine? Thanks!
Sure thing, I'll get some the next time I'm riding.
