Hey guys! I know its nearly been 2 months, but got the motivation boost recently to finish this completely! I really hope you enjoy the animation, 2018 was quite insane, especially late season Also do note: Landfall intensities are based off the last track point data (eg. a storm makes landfall at 08z, 06z data is used)
@@JTAnimates2024 I do, I was hoping to have this one finished by midway this month but kinda got delayed. Probs 2022 NATL and WPAC, not sure about others cuz i have hypos planned too

8:29 Super Typhoon Manghkut landfall in the Philippines.
Paeng and Queenie crossed the same path
Bro these trailers are so cinematic looking.
Hello, is it possible that I could use your landfall markers?
Good animation 2018 was a crazy year to me and so the following year itfself.

Trami and kong Rey is the same with nalgae and banyan local names
Queenie following paeng is the same in 2022 how is that possible?
PAGASA’s naming lists occur every 4 years. 2022 is 4 years since 2018 therefore they use the same local names
Ohhh yea is the same to

Oh I forget to you it's Christmas 🤩

Why Mangkhut is 160 mph at landfall?
Because that was its official landfall intensity?
@@nxthanj I think Mangkhut is 175 or 180 mph at landfall where did you find the analysis?
It is based off JTWC analysis as stated at the start of the animation
That is the official but it is definitely not only 160. Landfall observation supports at least 175 with pressure of 882
882 hpa (if the storm has a solid structure) is equivalent to a 190 mph typhoon AT LEAST
hopefully 2023 wpac will be active
why just so ppl would die?
This is too long
Yutu and Kong-rey were for sure stronger than Mangkhut
officials say Mangkhut was stronger, but that is for sure a possibility
@@nxthanj JTWC originally had Yutu and Kong-rey at 185mph, it was stupid of them to downgrade these two.
Yutu is around 195 mph
Kong Rey is >185 mph
Mangkhut is >190 mph (maybe 200)
