I usually don't care for update type videos, but yours are so interesting every time!

We started Epsilon in September. We have loved Alpha-Delta but let me tell you….Epsilon is MIND BLOWING. Math U See makes fractions so simple. I’ve been amazed at how simple they make it. Fractions are so hard!! Everyone should learn fractions the Math U See way!

I can't believe how little I learned or retained in math as I was growing up. My husband and I were laughing at each other last week because he and I never considered what the 'remainder' actually was in long division. It was a real V-8 moment. We were just told a remainder is what is left over and that was it. And when Morgan (and I) learned it's a freaking fraction, well I just had to shake my head and laugh. I am getting a real education here! We should be into Epsilon around January now. I truly cannot wait. I was thinking about going to UND after Morgan graduates and homeschool is over and getting a math degree just so fun. Gosh, I'll probably be the only 60 year old in the class...

Well, we are friends now! Feel free to write me at my email address. This channel has really helped me connect with women thinking and teaching in unique ways. We are a minority within a minority.

We rushed to read Are You There God It’s Me, Margaret when we saw the movie coming a while back and it was so great to do the book and then movie, they did a great job with it. Love the story about your mom and dad too! ✊🏻

We have what is called "Junk Food Friday" in this house and we eat whatever we want for dinner on Friday and watch a movie. I think this Friday will be that movie!

I loved this video! I enjoyed getting a preview of what I’m in for with the Ferret PBL. I already bought the novel to go with it!

There are noticeable grammatical errors in The Broken Circle, missing quotations and things. I think it may have been a self-publishing kind of deal or with no editor or beta readers but it's still good. I especially gravitated towards the book since it was written by two scientists who worked in the field. But I was watching your video on the election PBL. That is one I am really excited to do. I really am thinking about making this a full HS credit course for a fun, low stakes junior year credit. A high input, low output course to lighten a heavy academic year. Morgan could do one a month. That would certainly be 1 HS credit. I feel like this is going to be a complicated video. All the videos I want to do the most are the hardest to make and edit.

We struggled with Peter Pan as well. I ended up doing that one on audiobook because as with many classics, they just read a little bit differently than how things are written now and so I found it a little bit clunky. We struggled with that one for sure with my eight-year-old now nine.

I have a feeling there will be a lot of great books we stop and start over the years -- especially with our tendency to look for and find other books at a greater speed than we can read!

I’m more than old enough to have read those Sweet Dreams books! I loved them all ❤ it’s too bad I’m now homeschooling a boy otherwise I’d be hunting them down too

I would have been thrilled whether Morgan had been a boy or a girl but I have to admit it is pretty awesome sharing certain things as a mom daughter duo. My sister has 2 girls and a boy. And when she said she was pregnant with a boy we all looked at each other like, "What are we gonna do with HIM?" lol Turns out, boys are awesome, too, and SO different. You should just pick up your old fave and read it again. Mine were The Thoroughbred, The Popularity Plan and Cover Girl.

lol! OMGosh, I keep it so toned down! Welcome to my channel! I’ll be doing a sexual education video in a few weeks that will have strong women’s lib topics like the Double Bind theory, women in leadership roles, preparing our girls for their independence, safety and self fulfillment in career and personal lives… so glad you found me 😊
