    Its crazy how i can get bored and skip a fish video with music in 45 seconds, but i can sit through a 36 minute video of yours. I was looking through my old videos and saw my entry for your 3k subs contest and here you are at 44.5k subs, keep up the great work.

    Condolences for your loss.. You have really grown as a fishkeeper. Good luck with the bamboo. I hate them, but there are herbicides.

    • @dwsdarius

    Seriously the best setup I've seen. Always give great inspiration. Maybe because all your tanks are using the same philosophy as what I try to achieve. You are a lot further on than me though haha... My biggest challenger is to try and plant out my 10ft central American predator tank which also includes a group of silver dollars which love plants. I wonder are the roots of your plants protected from the fish? Oh the plant you weren't sure about in the video at about 19:40 which you called the swiss cheese plant. Its a monstera adansonii.

    • @dwsdarius
      @dwsdarius  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Silver dollars are a tough fish to work with, mine even destroyed roots which is why I ended up rehoming mine. 10ft tank, that has to look incredible

    Always love an update video! I believe the “Texas/Carpintis” is exactly that. Clearly An aquarium strain texas x carpintis mix imo. Displays more so the Texas pearling for sure but has that distinct blue color from carpintis but not quite as strong as a pure, and shape is obviously a mix of both, maybe more so Cyano (Texas) but it doesn’t really look like either species should. Regardless, very nice fish. Like me, your no stranger to a few hybrids.

    • @dwsdarius
      @dwsdarius  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes the carpintis has bigger pearls and a more distinct blue. Mine is nice but I'm still looking for a true carpintis

    • @dwsdarius
