My wife is now due for a new Corolla. She still has her 2008 Corolla S. It runs good, but it now needs new brakes, new tires, alignment, etc.
She's considering the Corolla SE or the XSE. It's either the corolla or the CHR.

I am curious where these new Corollas are made. IF they're Japanese-built, I'd be all in because historically, Japanese-built Toyotas run forever. My ex co-worker had a Japanese-built Corolla ('05) and he told me it's still running strong (almost 300,000 miles).

Hello Andrew! Thanks for this Corolla review! Pretty amazing new version of this bestseller. I like the new design with this slim front grill and headlights. Now they finally deleted the center bump in the hood and below the badge, I hated that...:D The slim line is also mirrored in the interior dashboard design, which is quite neat as you say: clear lines and not overloaded interior. I agree on the 2 color scheme color combination that it looks fantastic. Love the white parts, even though might tend to get dirty easily. First time I see a body color diffusor... mostly brands try to make them black or carbon, something like that - nice idea. The car is not expensive for what it has to offer: all the drive assist systems included which require high costs in development.
All around pretty amazing deal. On a side note: Here in Japan there are dealerships called "COROLLA" by Toyota offering all Toyota models as well. Kind of weird. Looks like the model name "Corolla" on its own attracts more or similar numbers of customers like the brand name "Toyota". I might make a video about it. :D

In USA, to get push button start, you need to get the premium package on SE. The package is different in Canada.
