Amazing upload! Thank you for this!
To Die For - This for me is easily the best Nicole Kidman has ever been in a movie. I still believe that 29 years later. The film is sharp, mordantly funny, and terrifying. Suzanne, Kidman’s character, is frightening how conniving she is. Fine support by Matt Dillon, Joaquin Phoenix, Casey Affleck, and Alison Folland as sweet saps, and Ileana Douglas as the sister-in-law who literally gets the last dance. Magnificent. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2.
Steal Big Steal Little - never seen it.
The Big Green - I have only seen it once. Back in 1996. I’ve pretty much forgotten it.
Devil in a Blue Dress - a forgotten gem in Denzel Washington’s filmography. A moody atmospheric thriller with sets and characters upstaging the story. Jennifer Beals IS good because she’s a phantom, an apparition, whispering her dialogue and often photographed in the shadows and yet we’re still intrigued by her. Tom Sizemore and Don Cheadle also provide strong support. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Moonlight and Valentino - the cast of this film is left marooned on an island of a pointless plot. Whoopi Goldberg’s character complains about marital problems that seem to be nonexistent; Gwyneth Paltrow keeps her former stepmother, Kathleen Turner, at arms length; the stepmother herself is this big time businesswoman but seems to have a lot of time to talk aimlessly about life with her cold stepdaughters; and Elizabeth Perkins loses her husband in a car accident during the opening credits, which should automatically make the audience feel for her character but we don’t. Superficial from start to finish. ⭐️ 1/2.

Seems like a rare episode where you don't have a major blockbuster or tent pole historic movie. Just a bunch of movies from a random week of 1995. Outside of The Big Green (loved that movies as a kid!) I am not familiar with anything here. And there's some hidden gems to rewatch!
