No one will ever understand the power of House music back in the day!. Growing up in Chicago, I remember being at the pride parade in 1986( Yes, it was small then no commercialized pride yet) I was invited to the Black Gay and Lesbian afterparty on Belmont Rocks. Frankie Knuckles was spinning his new song French Kiss....... All of maybe 200 people were there...... To see what our Community sent out into the world is just amazing!
