Ditto the Human League's re-imagined version of Dare as the League Unlimited Orchestra. Seminal. Library of Congress, where y'all at?
Grandmaster Flash was first I think, although in the UK we'd had alot of Hooked on Classics and megamixes going on in the early 80s. Non Stop Ecstatic Dancing by Soft Cell was released a month before Love and Dancing, dunno if that makes it the first pop remix album tho but I cant think of others before.
