Intro + Damned (If You Do) | The Mavericks | Knuckleheads | Kansas City, MO | May 27, 2023

Even though we saw The Mavericks at The Pageant in St. Louis, we took a road trip to KC to see one of their three-night engagement at Knuckleheads. I used to work down in that area in the 90s and wasn't sure what to expect. We made this trip so our daughter could see them for the first time. She is a big fan and is now home from college. Knuckleheads is a great place to see a show. The crowd was great. The staff working the show was great. They don't gouge on drink prices. Knuckleheads is just eclectic and cool. Raul is one of those talented guys who can play anything and sing anything. This show was the first show where we've seen him play the bass guitar. He does a good job, but I miss the second guitar. The Jazzmaster and Gretch make a difference, along with Eddie's Telecaster. BTW, Knuckleheads live streams their shows.
