Awesome.... The size limit here i. Cali is 22 inches for california halibut aka flounder... They are pretty difficult to catch out here but im not a professional.... Very cool video... I need to step up my kayak game...
Mone,, just want to say that I have loved the back bays marshes for fishing for their beauty as much as their fishyness, I did not know of these on the deleware perhaps someday i will ask you how to get to this spot,,,,,,, if parking is legal etc,,,,,,,, but I know that you won't tell me because of spot blow up potential sucks can you at least say how many miles it is from the bridge you were on
Chris, my son and I yaked one of the areas you detailed last year and he boated a 23 incher on opening eve. Unfortunately it turned into the 5 min curse. Not another bite the rest of the time.
Brother, I’m not better, by far...in catching fish like you, but I know one thing for sure, you always ALWAYS bring a net when going for them flounder. Them big flounders like you didn’t land and got away will be the ones that require more than just the grab and hold by the hand. They act very much like them tarpon in the end, they will shake their head one last time right before you land them. Keep up these good videos amigo!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hey man, give seaguar STS flouro a try. It’s basically the same exact line except you get 100 yards per spool at a fraction of the price. Been using it religiously for years and it works amazing.
Ok, nice fish. Question in spring you fish in say 10 to 15 feet of water, at what point do you move to deeper water? Just trying to get a basic idea. Thanks I'm in CT.
Hey man love your video! Is there any chance you can repost the link for your kayak or reply with the name of it? The link isn't working. Can't wait for late spring to get out on the water! PS Nick Foles is still the last QB to throw a pass for a TD in the superbowl! Thanks again!
Was just thinking - if you had guided that big fluke across the front of your yak onto the sod bank, you possibly could've landed it. Tough one right there regardless, but at least you got to see it :-)
Failure to prepare is planning to fail my man...that WAS a nice flounder you dropped. Fishing gods burned you for your comment about not needing a net for BIG flounder....
I saw you at the Wawa in philly. I wasnt sure it was you until the cashier said something and you said "that's all" and then headed to your car and by that point it was too late to say hi lol
Dude, the one you lost was a monster, but as you said, it's what's fishing is all about. great that you limited out, only fish I tend to keep for eating. are Fluke, cocktail Blues, seabastards and the almost extinct lol Weakfish. love your vids, you live and breathe fishing, my brother!
Dude I live in Toms River NJ. I'd love to meet up with you and do some fishing. I'm just getting into surfcasting on IBSP, I'm sure i can learn a lot from you.
Did a lot better on opening day casting then vertical jigging also, I’m thinking it looks more natural? What your thoughts? Great video as always, tight lines!
Agreed, love that road rage too LOL, that’s EXACTLY what happened to me this past weekend, this old lady was literally driving about 35 mph in the middle of a highway. I couldn’t help but laugh at her.
Congrats on the 100k!!!! Insane bro, i think ive been around since 7k and its great Also where are these sod banks? Im tired of fishing shark river haha
You sound like me on my way to/from work every day haha. If you were to start a driving channel like you brought up on the Hook Shots podcast, I 100% would watch and subscribe.
Losing that flounder is like exactly what happened to me yesterday I hooked a carp on a trout magnet on my UL setup and I had him at the bank and he hook just pops out
100K ! Thats dope man tight lines. You should look me up dude im in the 609 area and i pounded em on opening day too. The only problem is all mine were shorts.
lol that fish at 3.50 or so,,with you at the bank no less,,you almost had to try to lose that one,, oh ye of little patience,,and on a nice one to boot,,,,tough lesson for sure.
they r called "fluke" yes they r a family member to the flounder but flounder don't have teeth and r way more common in the winter... these r summer flounder and they have a name "FLUKE"
Congrats on passing 100k Chris! You are the realest fisherman on TH-cam!
I am literally laughing.... Love the documented road rage. You are reading my thoughts while driving to go fishing.
never is there more urgency on the road than when youre on your way to go fishing haha
Congrats on the 100,000 subs!!!!!!! You deserve it man! Keep up the great work
Nothing pisses me off more then the jerkoffs that sit in the left lane and do like 30mph.
Damn dude. You had your hands around that jumbo. Gotta work on the man clamp! Way to recover though; stuck it out for the limit and the win!
Happy to see fluke fishing this year please do more catch and cooks. Keep up the great work

Damn Chris, it's surprising to see such big door mats in shallow water so close to land! The road rage clips were classic too!
ar15f117 the big ones are in shallow this time of year
Mone,, just want to say that I have loved the back bays marshes for fishing for their beauty as much as their fishyness, I did not know of these on the deleware

You stand out so much from other youtube anglers, big luv
Chris, my son and I yaked one of the areas you detailed last year and he boated a 23 incher on opening eve. Unfortunately it turned into the 5 min curse. Not another bite the rest of the time.
Me and my cousin Ronnie watch this sitting in the car and we says you're a good fisherman

Hey man, give seaguar STS flouro a try. It’s basically the same exact line except you get 100 yards per spool at a fraction of the price. Been using it religiously for years and it works amazing.
Well done! The flat fish get so big up north!
I live in Ventnor, NJ. Just bought my first fishing kayak. Any spots you would recommend in my area where I should start out? Thank you!
Always see if you can find the channel (but watch out for power boats.) Stripers hang out in the channel or any other deeper spots.
The fishing road rage is real
The joy in your voice.......the best part!!!!! xo
The OPEN Gulp! container in the yak.. can ALWAYS pick up something out of the ordinary in sea money's videos.
Ok, nice fish. Question in spring you fish in say 10 to 15 feet of water, at what point do you move to deeper water? Just trying to get a basic idea. Thanks I'm in CT.

"DRIVE REAL SLOW....aight we out here."
Evan Myers what? U thought flash didn’t exist?
Nice vid man I feel for you losing that big "flush" right at the kayak keep it up and you'll get your big one 🎣👍
I haven't heard good things about the trik fish stuff. You should get a spool of seaguar red label, 200 yards of the stuff for $15
Where are you fishing I lived right outside of Somers Point until about a month ago
I almost cried when you lost the flounder!
I think we found all of the shorts on boat in back channels in Sea Isle.
We caught 4 keepers and maybe 20 shorts
They were yummy tho
Tough day. Nice result
Was just thinking - if you had guided that big fluke across the front of your yak onto the sod bank, you possibly could've landed it.
Tough one right there regardless, but at least you got to see it :-)
I was washing cars and helping a friend clean his house.
We both wish we were fishing.
Especially the T Jetty or Fortescue for them 38" stripper
Failure to prepare is planning to fail my man...that WAS a nice flounder you dropped. Fishing gods burned you for your comment about not needing a net for BIG flounder....
Ever heard of sarcasm?
I saw you at the Wawa in philly. I wasnt sure it was you until the cashier said something and you said "that's all" and then headed to your car and by that point it was too late to say hi lol

renaissanceman i thought i would find you here lol!! Yes he did!
I haven’t made it back to where he fishes. Enough fish in Somers Point. I should get both of you out in the boat. I need a jigging lesson.
renaissanceman ill teach you how to jig! Its all about a slow reel in
Damn that was a giant flounder! You almost had him 😩

Nice video! May I ask where are you fishing at? I am looking for a place that has a free boat launching :)
Way to persevere. Has the bluefish bite picked up much?
is it too windy to paddle is that why you have footpedal?
Lately in MD the fishing has been hurt by all this rain.
Do you ever fish in Forestcue nj beaches
Congrats on the 101k subs. You ever around OC? It’s been extremely dead around here. Any tips?
I’m a minute twenty in, just came down here to say I laughed audibly at the road rage sequence
The first minute of the video was gold...lmfao typical Jersey drivers! Im not far from AC. Awesome video as always!
We all feel your pain in traffic. IF YOU ARE IN THE LEFT LANE GO FAST
Hey I'm from Sicklerville NJ, would like to go fishing with you guys let me know if is possible.
I just watched someone else’s videos and they mentioned how they were going to be like Sea-Money and fish without a net and than I see this 😂😂😂😂
Love your videos! Thanks Tracy
I live in Avalon. Great video
Agreed, love that road rage too LOL, that’s EXACTLY what happened to me this past weekend, this old lady was literally driving about 35 mph in the middle of a highway. I couldn’t help but laugh at her.

Your videos are the best fishing content on TH-cam, huge fan of the KFC series, will it make a comeback?
In CT they uped the minimum length to 19"
Losing that flounder is like exactly what happened to me yesterday I hooked a carp on a trout magnet on my UL setup and I had him at the bank and he hook just pops out

You sound just like me EVERY DAY I come home from work money, I live in the 609 and I hate this holiday
he hates the shitshow that comes with the holiday.. drunk people killing people and the lawless driving etc
yea generally I cant deal with holidays at the shore
Well sea money fishoholic fishing is better anyway
He’s a true surf fisherman
I'm 8 minutes from the pt. pleasant boardwalk so I hate from now until labor day , or just hate all the assholes
I live in N.C and I have only been successful with live bait like mullet if they are any size
Sea money fishing how do u handle a flounder
Always when u don’t have a net big fish show up guy just lost a 7lb fluke right next to me in no 2nd day of the season
for me, most times the shorts hit harder than the flatties
Where are you in New Jersey
I think you should have swung that big one you had a better chance of swinging him then trying to grab him.. good work though you limited out
HOLLYWOOD DTF or flipped it on the bank
"Drive real slow!"
