I wonder if rv rubber sealent on the roof would prevent hail damage, obviously to an extent huge hail its not gonna do much but for some i think it might protect a little bit imma have to try it
I am originally from Texas. I can tell you about tornadoes there bud. I've seen what those things can do. Uprooted trees pick-up Vans and move them. I was working at a place called moss five-and-dime and Lancaster Texas I was in my early twenties at the time. Of course now I'm 67

I work on a golf course and we had a severe thunderstorm the other week. Before it got bad we had to of course get all the carts and equipment in. Driving through the whipping wind and start of rain was exactly that, although I got a little nervous. Got some great video of it!
That was EPIC! I miss being around storms like that. I remember being at a friend's party in Chicago and standing in the backyard watching a majestic storm with lightning and thunder and crazy clouds. Everyone was telling me to come inside and I was like, "gimme a few minutes, I'm from California and we don't get weather like this!"
About 25 years ago, there was a WILD thunderhead over Lake Michigan one summer night. No thunder, just a crazy light show inside.

Remember as a kid sleeping during the storms,we had a tin roof no insulation,it was great sleep during a good rain/storm!!

Very curious why TH-cam has taken down a lot of real thunderstorm videos and replaced them with fake, hours long videos. I absolutely love videos like this, they relax me like no other. I've always been a fan of your videos but storm videos have always been my favorite of yours

Any day I get to come home after a second shift around Midnight and see a Crazy Quady video is a good day. Getting to crack open a cold one (in my case Yuengling which is IMHO the best beer in North America) the same time you do in the video makes for a glorious evening chilling feeling like I'm at the camp site with you. Jim, I can relate. About 3 years ago I became ill to the point where I can't get out and do alot of the things I love. Fishing and camping are all but a thing of the past. I'm grateful there are content creators like Crazy so I can live vicariously. Stay safe and keep your chin up.

I used to work on those tornado sirens a long time ago. Had that thing gone off in the middle school of the night, with you right there under it, you would have jumped out of your skin lol😂 those things are so freaking loud!

Just discovered your channel, really enjoyed watching. Loved the storm, but my favorite thing was watching you play in the play ground. I’m almost 80 years old and I always do a turn on the swings anytime I’m near a play ground. No one should ever lose their inner child. Enjoy your life.❤

Get a couple of moving blankets to use for hood/windshield during hail storms. I got mine at Harbor Fright for about 5 bucks each. Good for being stuck in cold weather also.

This was a beautiful place and what a thunderstorm a good thunderstorm can clean the air love seeing you in the playground swinging on the swing I haven’t done that in a long time maybe 13 years when my grandson was three 😊great video can’t wait for the next one 💜💙🙏

Last time I was on a swing-set was in June of 2022. At my age it wasn't very enjoyable. I don't know how old you are but I am guessing I have a good 20 years on you. Great video, and stay young! Good deal on the coffee, I love a strong thunderstorm!

Have you ever cooked on your engine? I did it once, and I thought it turned out well...just carry aluminum foil and spray oil...I made chicken driving from Los Banos to Napa. I used thighs, and skin on. Didn’t dry out, and was quite good.

Anyone see the lightning strike a split second after 17:36? If not it is best to go to the time stamp of 17:35 or even 17:34 so you do not miss that amazing capture. Also the burn ban should not count twords a fire for cooking food. At least to what I know down here in Georgia. No idea what the burn ban is like for you up there.
You need to have a lightning g Rod to ground your trucks electrical systems and prevent a killer shock to you!
My brother is a police officer in Poteet TX! I live about 30 minutes away and we do have great strawberries lol. We even have a strawberry festival every year it's so popular!

I love thunderstorms but one year I was camping in my truck bed tent. An incredible storm came in and I lay there praying the tent would hold up. The lightning was blinding. Next morning I looked out and there were tents trashed everywhere😮 I was snug as a bug in mine😅
