This show literally did not only give me excitement to learn my bible with more zeal, it also inspired me to learn the original languages the bible was written in so I can read the inspired word of God the way it was originally written (Koine Greek for NT and Biblical Hebrew for OT). Some commenters here are claiming their concerns were deleted from here. Now that the show is funded, and they're part of LionsGate, they don't seem to have the same view of the people that fed them for 3+ seasons, I guess.

I’m wondering why there is a “rainbow flag” on set? You can see it starting at 25-29 seconds in the lower left corner of the screen.
This show that’s suppose to reflect, Jesus the Son of the Living God , from the Bible, and Godly principals..with each video that comes out reflects less and less about the REAL Jesus, whom I know, and more and more about the false Jesus “the spirit of the Antichrist” this world knows and loves so they can live comfortably in sin. Im not a Christian, but I really like this show(Ive watch the first 3 season 4 times..lol). Ive actually encouraged a few people to watch it..its not preachy. "Jesus" is very relatable, even funny. The actor has done a great job.
and its has made me interested in the idea of thinking about possibly, perhaps, maybe looking into the teachings of Jesus. God help me I even research a local church that a family member goes to.
The "Jesus" they promote on this show is a false Jesus. Please read the Bible to find the true Jesus.

I started to pray again, look for God, and try to put God and Jesus first in my day. Walk by Faith and not by Sight. It has truly changed my life and brought me back to Christ. We would all like an explanation for the Pride flag on set.
"Pride cometh before the fall." I would hate to see that become a reality for the Chosen.
Not everyone understands the freedom Christ blood can give them. Not everyone doing make-up and boom Mics and all the other things that need to get done are going to be set free Christians that are free from addiction, fear, rage, jealousy, pride, gluttony, or lust. Pray for them to be delivered.

A person can live that lifestyle if they choose but it's very disrespectful to fly in the face of God's moral law on the set of a production that supposedly uplifts the name of Christ.
I'm ok with them having people of all kinds working on the show. But it was probably a bad idea to put the pride flag there given the Bud Light, Dodgers, Target, etc. controversies. This legitimately could hurt the show just cause the camera guy's validation is of higher priority.

We are, they seemed to have skipped over every comment mentioning it however. The silence is pretty telling
Obviously we’re not “promoting” anything because one crew member happens to bring something on set.
We’ve made it clear from the beginning we don’t have a religious or political litmus test for who can work on our show. We love our cast and crew, especially because even though they all come from different backgrounds and beliefs, they work their butts off for the show and for you. One crew member wearing something doesn’t speak for everyone-the show’s official stance on anything is to be found in the content of the show.

You need to confront this pride issue head on Dallas. There is no room for compromise with sin.

Haha I loved the part about bugs in Texas. I lived in Texas for over a year after living my whole life in AZ and my biggest complaint would be the bugs! I totally relate can relate to it in this video. One night my friend and I were sitting on a park bench in Texas and were attacked by a swarm of big mosquitoes! It's the worst! 😆

The chosen displaying a rainbow flag 0:25 just in time for "Pride Month".
Obviously we’re not “promoting” anything because one crew member happens to bring something on set.
We’ve made it clear from the beginning we don’t have a religious or political litmus test for who can work on our show. We love our cast and crew, especially because even though they all come from different backgrounds and beliefs, they work their butts off for the show and for you. One crew member wearing something doesn’t speak for everyone-the show’s official stance on anything is to be found in the content of the show.
Would you allow your crew to wear a baphomet shirt or nazi flag? How about a hammer and sickle? Is there any standard of behavior of your crew? Most of us are not upset that you hire non-Christians, or LGBT. Jesus called us to love everyone. But love is not the same as acceptance and/or celebration of sin. The fact that the pride symbol, which is specifically an anti-Christian hate symbol, made it into an official promo video is disturbing to us.

@@TheChosenSeries it's not obvious, that symbol was in your promo video, that is very significant to people as you can tell in your video comment section. Have you taken a stance on LGBT in the show? As of now it seems all we have to go on is that rainbow flag and considering Dallas calls Mormons brothers in Christ and we "love the same Jesus" its not unreasonable to worry about serious Biblical compromise.

Pride cometh before a fall
I’ve supported The Chosen since season 1 through donations and merchandise purchases, but yeah, our family would love to know what’s going on with what seems like a pride flag at 0:25 on the set of a show about Christ and His disciples before we continue to support the show? Not being judgmental, I just want to make sure I know what I’m supporting financially and with my family’s time.
We’re aware that many of the actors are not believers unfortunately (we pray that they come to know Jesus through this project), but if that’s a pride flag on display on set from the production team itself, it throws a lot of question marks into the bigger equation.
The Chosen series has shown several “red” flags along the way. 26 of the 27 books of the New Testament warn about False teaching/teachers. We are to judge righteously, that is what discernment is all about. Discernment is not knowing right from wrong, it is the knowing the difference between right and almost right - Charles Spurgeon

It probably belongs to a gay CREW member who wore a pride shirt during the 5K event and wasn't told to change. His social media is disgusting. But the fact that the editors didn't catch it or left it on purpose is a problem for me and you are right to your stance. It should be addressed.

Openly promoting a lifestyle contrary to the gospel of Jesus Christ doesn't seem quite right. It's one thing to struggle with sin and another to have pride in it.
it's good to watch stories about other cultures i.e. marriage, father's arranging, bethrothal, etc. good history and culture aspects of The CHosen. Remember The Messenger, Mary and Joseph talking about money?
