We (editors, fans and mysel) sent some positive tweets at her, explaining how much the video meant and how it got people to buy the song -- really I've never been more proud of my supporters. Within like an hour or two of that she sent me an email back. She gave me permission to have Ship Happens on youtube just as long as I didn't provide a download link, as it gave people access to the song without buying it. Now it order to get it back on TH-cam I've been trying to get Dana and Not Literally Productions to retract my copy strike since they manually reported me, but I think they are really busy dealing with their own legal issues...apparently the two company holders are fighting over thousands of dollars they got from fans to make a video they never ended up making -- super complicated. Anyway now I can either dispute the strike and get my original video back up - hopefully or I guess I could just reupload it. I'm not entirely sure on that last one. Since it wasn't nabbed by youtube shouldn't be a big deal -- but I think disputing is better cause I get my views and comments back I believe. And I have emails from the copyright holder to support my claim as well as fair use. Honestly I just haven't had time to do either because of conventions and finishing up this video. i loved this amv alot that i voted for it at anime boston back in 2016.. though you also did one thing as well, it was THIS VERY AMV that sold me on he series. went right from the amv contest room right to the vendors room and bought it, and has been reading the manga as well ever since.

As to the latter yeah that is rather annoying, but to be expected if I have a non watermarked download available, even if it's for members only on AMV.org. This was really a trial video to see how watermark works out, how it was received etc. So not sure if I will continue using it in the future!

Lol I saw this video before seeing the original music video, so I assumed that random skip to the chorus after the male singer says "I reach out my hand and" was just for this video. It's pretty interesting how you got the perfect clip for that scene after I discovered that was a part of the original song XD

Lol I saw this video before seeing the original music video, so I assumed that random skip to the chorus after the male singer says "I reach out my hand and" was just for this video. It's pretty interesting how you got the perfect clip for that scene after I discovered that was a part of the original song XD
