It would depend on the yarn weight you are using. Make a chain that is the width of the bed you want to cover, plus extra for a little overhang. The number of chains you make should be divisible by 2, eg 200, 222, or 310), then add 6 more chains to follow the pattern and add that first block - hope that helps.
You can change colour the same was as normal but the colour changes would be very obvious as they carried yarn would be visible - are you looking for each stitch to be a different colour? such as alternating the colour in each stitch? or just changing half way down the row and switching back on the return row?
Woah that’s freaking crazy I ended up looking up this tutorial on the exact day of its three year anniversary since uploaded, that’s actually really weird. I wonder what I was doing May 14 2021. ❤
I don’t see why not! You can work it in the round but joining in the seam of your top and slip stitching to the top of the chain 3 from the start of the row before starting the stitch pattern again.
This pattern doesn’t work for me when i chain 24. If i chain 25 it works out where i have 10 spaces and can double crochet in the last stitch. Am i doing something wrong or should it be 25?
@@CosyRosieCrochet Thank you, I forgot about edging. And is your tapestry needle sharp or blunt? The tapestry needles I use dor crocheting is blunt, so I'm not sure if it would work.
Hi Ayesha, did you know you can click the little cog icon top right of your screen and slow down the speed of your video so you can never get lost or feel rushed again. I use it all the time and I've been crocheting for yrs😂Have fun 🙏

It’s on my list to get done asap 😊
This was very helpful for a beginner like me. Thank you so mucn
Glad it was helpful! 😊
Thanks so much!!!! It’s was super helpful!!🙃
What if i wanted large mesh boxes
Skip 2 stitches in between and chain 2 instead of 1
great video, thank you!!
Hello, if i decreased the number of the skipped stitches in the first squate from 6 to 4 eg, will it make it smaller ?
You would need to adjust the beginning chain rather than the number of chains skipped - those skipped chains create the first part of the mesh
How neat! Thanks for the tutorial!
How to decrease the stitch when using this stitch?
Srry I’m so crazy bc I see your account yay I’m so happy right know
Hi I am a beginner.how many stitches must I put on for a double bed throw blanket

Norrr your Ms.Salgado omg im Tarmilynn hello I miss you so much ❤
how do I decrease?
hey, idk why but my mesh crochet looks more circular rather than square and i did exactly what was told in the tutorial
It may need to be blocked to get the effect. When you give it a gentle stretch, does it still look circular?
If not, blocking will help.
Same
Thank you 😊
I didn’t know you have a TH-cam channel
How do you switch to a different yarn color in the middle of the mesh stitch?
You can change colour the same was as normal but the colour changes would be very obvious as they carried yarn would be visible - are you looking for each stitch to be a different colour? such as alternating the colour in each stitch? or just changing half way down the row and switching back on the return row?

That's so amazing! I didn't realise the video was that old!
Can I make a mesh crop top long sleeve using this stitch pattern
I don’t see why not! You can work it in the round but joining in the seam of your top and slip stitching to the top of the chain 3 from the start of the row before starting the stitch pattern again.
@@CosyRosieCrochet ok great. Thank u soo much
Is there a way to do it to keep all my mesh space aligned instead of a brick style?
There is! It's worked the same way as filet crochet, you just never work into the chain spaces, just on top of the previous stitches :)
can u make blanket from thiss stitch
You could indeed - simply make the chain as wide as your like the blanket 😊
This pattern doesn’t work for me when i chain 24. If i chain 25 it works out where i have 10 spaces and can double crochet in the last stitch. Am i doing something wrong or should it be 25?
Usually when you turn your work youre supposed to have an extra stitch, so yes 25
In a pattern it would look like 24 +1
Do you know Ms. Salgado
I'm sorry I don't know her
She is my teacher
Love the look. Is there a way to stitch a piece of crocheted mesh like this to a fabric?
You can indeed!
You could work an edging in US single crochet around the crochet fabric and sew on to that and it wouldn’t affect the crochet 😊
@@CosyRosieCrochet Thank you, I forgot about edging. And is your tapestry needle sharp or blunt? The tapestry needles I use dor crocheting is blunt, so I'm not sure if it would work.
@@barefacedquestions mine are generally plastic so quite blunt.
How to weave in the ends😭
this was very fast in the middle coundnt understand had mental breakdown everything else was ok or good 😭
Sorry it felt rushed

can you do an off set mesh triangle? like bikini style?
Are you looking for a tutorial for one?
and squres
The same as the blanket option, create the chain as wide as you like the square and crochet rows to square it off 😊
Great video!
But you talk so fast.
Glad you like the video- I’m trying to work on my fast taking. I’ll keep reminding myself to slow down 😊
You can slow down the video by tapping the screen. Upper rt corner tap the gear and you'll see this. You can also add captions.
Is there anyway you can do a tutorial on showing how to decrease with this stitch.
I'll get that added to the list of tutorials for early next year - thank you for the suggestion
Thank you ☺️
