Huge Mitsubishi fan, I've owned 8 of them. Favorite being the Eclipse I've had a 2g, 3g, 4g, and bought another 3g Spyder GT because it's my favorite of all the Eclipse generations. I would like to pick up a 3000gt someday.
I've been a Mitsubishi fan since 1994! Owned every Eclipse. I still own a 1997 Eclipse. After what they did to the new "Eclipse" i will never sell this car!! Very sad that they and the new culture decided to make all SUV's. I'll be honest with you.... around me there's more Eclipse-Cross sitting on the lots then there is driving on the roads. I grew up on Mitsu not really trying to go to another brand after all these years. I was so hyped over the new Eclipse....then they just turn around and make all SUV's.....If they made a few of the sport cars to see if they would sell, well i guarantee you they would of sold like clockwork.
My all time favorite car is the 2g Eclipse. I have a 99 RS and a 97 GST Spyder all oem 54k miles. I hope to one day potentially get an old Evo or VR4…it’s a shame Mitsubishi doesn’t make the Evo, VR4, or a true 2g type Eclipse because I’d buy one new.
@@jboy27imma keep saying this but these thing just arent unreliable. The only “unreliable” part about them is the active aero likes to break. Other than that you just have to do basic maintenance stuff and replace the timing belt every 80-100k miles. I just dont get where people get the unreliable part from
I wish they would have kept making the body style of the 2G Eclipse it is my favorite car ever!! I think it's sad that everyone just because they have families they all have to have SUVs and they give up on sports cars. I will never give up on my DSM or my JDM cars they are my favorite. I actually don't like all these SUVs and I do see them everywhere so I see why Mitsubishi did that 😢😭 💔 what's tuners we're always have our eclipse and talons in the true lovers of these cars will never let them die
