I think the reason why Roger was behaving like a parent to Steve was because if I remember correctly, that was the episode where him and Stan decided to trade places for a while, ( I COULD be mistaken though) 😕😞

10:30 the B plot in that episode was with Haley and Klaus in a Dare competition. That was the final one - Klaus dared Haley to dress like captain Stubing for a year, and Haley dared Klaus to congeal himself in green Jell-O :D

They were doing a dare competition, daring each other throughout the whole episode.
My favorite was when Klaus dared Haley to run around the yard naked yelling "Help! Raccoons took my penis!"

5:35 to be fair, we find out in a different episode Roger CAN go into people's dreams, so the haunting part is possible. Just not sure how he'd convince Steve to go in the sewer even with that.
