Hey Caleb! I’m so proud of what you’ve achieved man! I’ve commented on one of your other videos about your journey to get your Nintendo Switch game collection for your new game room, that you’ve rekindled my spirit of having a switch again recently and today got two more games to add to my collection. I want to say that it’s okay to stay in that space and reflect on how far you’ve come. It’s amazing to see how much you’ve accomplished within the last four years and it’s a victory that is worth celebrating. Even though it may feel u comfortable to become emotional, but it’s okay! You can feel emotional about how far you’ve come and how much you’ve achieved for your business and for you personally! Just wanted to encourage you to continue to do what you do well and what you love doing as well! You’ve encouraged me and I’m sure that others feel the same as well! Thanks for an awesome content! Love your videos man! Keep it up!!!!
it's crazy how much I love this channel and always look forward to the weekly uploads. I literally ran into this channel randomly in December of 2021 when I was shiny hunting for Dialga in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and one of Caleb's videos just randomly popped up and I just binged them as I shiny hunted. Been watching every video ever since!
Editor riff at 18:27 is the best 😂 Love your videos man the edits always makes me enjoy your videos But your finds and flips are always interesting to see!!
Favourite thing on this Vid was hearing your story on where your TH-cam name came from, congrats Caleb hard work and dedication pays off!!! Awesome channel!
Could you imagine selling something at your booth just to see the customer go to the booth across the aisle and try to sell the same item for twice what he paid you for it 😂😂😂
They do the same thing before Caleb gets to them. It's the same business just done faster. As a reseller if someone can get profit after I sell it to them that makes me pretty happy.
Came across this channel recently and gotta say, Caleb you seem to be like a pretty cool dude. Just a humble person that loves video games. Wish you all the success brother and keep doing what you do. I just subscribed.
I can’t finish this video. I am never a fan of when resellers get first picks during setup of a game expo before the public can get to the deals. But I am not gonna hate, Caleb has his hustle and gotta feed his family.
@@Idk-tl6jq he buys the table so he can get first picks around the hall - he has 4 items on his table for sale, you can hardly call that a vendor. I'm sure a lot of the actual vendors do the same thing, its just the act of filming yourself doing it and then bragging about finds makes it feel very douchy.
Blame the convention for allowing people to buy a pass to come in early. Hell my local expo in Cleveland lets you pay 80$ just for the early access on Friday morning so blame them
Awesome story, never give up even when at your lowest is the takeaway I get, now you’re doing something that involves what you love and that’s video games 👏🏽 keep it up caleb
So he's basically pretending to be a seller just to get in before the masses and snipe the good stuff. 😂 7:03 Roller Games OST, awesome beat 'em up btw. 18:42 He almost cried talking about the bat but just gave gave it to RTG85. I've seen this same baseball bat in a recent RTG85's video. 😅
A. He’s a guest at the convention and has a panel so he’s not pretending to be anything as well as many conventions have pre access passes that allow people to get first dibs B. The bat in this video clearly has a phoenix at the end while the bat he gave rtg has rtg engraved into it with no phoenix.
Thank you for the naming origin. I wasn't fully aware of your beginnings. "For one to fully walk, one must trip & fall". I've not gotten jobs I knew I was highly qualified for, it stings. I've lost jobs as well. The plan for us will work out, not usually in the way we foresee. Thing is Caleb, your path doesn't just effect you, others, like myself, have drawn inspiration from seeing your success. Cheers, good man!🍻
Sad because you only sold $15 from your booth??? C'mon give me a break that wasn't even a booth, a few hats and plushies?? 😂. You paid to be a vendor to get in early and start buying from other vendors before the public gets in. You could of at least made an effort and brought a lot of you stuff from home to sell like an actual vendor. I get the push to flip and make money with even some of your videos saying you stating you're collecting or a huge fan ect just to sell it all off. This video even with the Scrooge McDuck shirt just felt distasteful and is a L.
Love the story of the Phoenix. The early church used it as a symbol of understanding the death and resurrection of Christ. To me it is a beautiful reflection of new life (in Christ) but also of new beginnings. It seems fitting for your story, thanks for sharing
Man i felt nostalgic watching this. Looking at all the games and saying to myself "I have that game too! And that Playstation 4" but I just love your videos.
Love your sarcasm and how you can laugh at yourself. After 2+(3?)years watching, glad to hear how you rose up frome the ashes. Hope to see ya again Greenville, SC at SEGE in July. Stay sarcastic, dude!
Glad to see how far you've came! you and Retro Rick are the reason i started reselling. lookin' forward to seeing the growth over the next years! Love bro!
Tip of the day! When asking is that your best price! Always wait for them to give you a price! Don’t play the game of “what’s your offer” say what ever your last price is! Lol
Man it’s been a fun journey. My first video I watched and have been watching the channel since was I believe your first time selling at a mini con or convention.
When I first started watching your channel I though you were based out of Arizona. I love the videos, and I’m happy for your success, you are out there broadcasting good vibes to your viewers.

I just found your channel and I'm loving it! Also you should grow your beard back, much more handsome with it. I love the editing too and I will probably visit some conventions near my area or garage sales. Watching these videos makes me want some handheld consoles for me and my future kids. Keep up with the amazing videos
I like your videos Caleb! Cause of you I kinda do the same, buying games online 2nd hand, same goes for handhelds. Recently bought a Pokemon Platinum game for DS completely sealed for 50€, I resold it for 150€ a week later!
I owned that same ps4 console limited edition black ops n matching controller I love it mines also has 1tb drive in it its very rare system n it in mine collection n I'm keep it forever I've seen only one on Amazon n it was near 400 just for console n matching controller goes for 100 plus on avg u ever seen it buy it u make money back on it or add it too your collection is must if u love ps4 limited edition console
Caleb, I have an awesome Switch game recommendation that I don't know if you played it already or not since I think it's a year or two old. It's called Superliminal and it's a puzzle/thriller-ish game that is one of my favorites. It's pretty quick and I first finished it in about 2 hours. The game is awesome and the ending is beautiful, which is surprising for a puzzle type game. I highly recommend!! You won't be disappointed! ;)
Hey phoenix are you able to recommend me a video game expo that’s happening in the summer? I got myself the chance to do that so I would love some recommendations
13:37 I bought one of these in 2003 for $20 at TRU when I played Yugioh for the sheer purpose of cosplaying as Seto Kaiba. A few years later I threw it away b/c I didn’t think anything of it & I needed the room. That was not a smart move.
That Professor Layton game, my wife and I found, game only for about 3-4 years ago at a con for $40-50CAD. Started looking for a case for it and it's going for 200+ for the case alone.
I’ve visited both of them in Clarksville & Jeffersonville this and last year. I liked the Clarksville one better because it has a larger game selection; it’s also walking distance to Green Tree Mall. Louisville has a couple Game X Changes; I’ve visited both of those too, but not the Dixie Hwy one yet.
Man that vendor with the fancy casings for his games knows how to treat his games lol. Beautiful cases
right? looks all clean and well taken

When Caleb spends $1000 means we’re gonna see him purchase $1,000,000 worth of product.
@@zachdennett it was a joke. Caleb always offers fair prices and has repeatedly shown he hates lowballing people.

Can't believe you re-gifted that bat to RGT, LMAO🤣
I thought the same thing. Gave him a bat with phoenix resale on it??
This is my favorite type of content. So much nostalgia in one video with the touch of personal insight.
Could you imagine selling something at your booth just to see the customer go to the booth across the aisle and try to sell the same item for twice what he paid you for it 😂😂😂
Huge slap in the face
That’s how the game is played.
You do know that every store that exists sells their products for more than they paid for them.
They do the same thing before Caleb gets to them. It's the same business just done faster. As a reseller if someone can get profit after I sell it to them that makes me pretty happy.
It’s not a good look but it’s not like they paid retail for it most of the vendors probably paid max 45ish% retail for the inventory probably less….
Recently came across your channel and love the content and super inspiring to see how far you have come with your journey!

Keep grinding! I live in Alaska in a city that doesn’t have any used game stores. So online resellers like you are life savors for people like me!
I appreciate that!
I here you in my area there aren't a ton of retro stores so the online scene is where I get my stuff as well
Tim always dishing the deals, what a standup guy
He then went on to give that bat to RGT 😂😂😂
Great channel, love the content, and nice to see John Riggs
We’re flipping claw machine prizes now too? I got to keep up with these new age resellers.
I can’t finish this video. I am never a fan of when resellers get first picks during setup of a game expo before the public can get to the deals. But I am not gonna hate, Caleb has his hustle and gotta feed his family.
It’s because he is a vendor. Also some of the expos allow you to pay extra to get in early.
