The fact this event is pretty hard even if it’s a community event is not fair.
It's not a community event, but an event Gameloft made for one of the people who actually cares about the community. There's a certain difference

I will give my opinion and try to be as objective as possible:
First the negative things:
1. Codin really hyped his SE up way too much on Discord (which I can kind of understand since it's his own event). Before the SE I actually thought are gonna be packs comparable to the BoS. Don't get me wrong the Imola and the Agera RS are deffo good cars. But the other support cars are kind of meh if you compare them to BoS packs.
2. Codin as a community mod knows how much newer players and F2P players are suffering in this game. So I don't know why putting the Davinci in the SE in the first place. A better way to solve this problem would be similar to the De Tomaso SE. You can reach all stages with the Legend store cars. You got some tokens and a few blueprints for the De Tomaso.
What I find positive:
1. The Imola and the Agera RS packs. You only need to unlock the Imola to unlock the Agera packs which is definitely a really nice move. And since a lot of people already got the Imola they can open the Agera RS packs from the get-go.
2. We get a lot of BPs and Epics for the Agera RS. This drastically cuts down the clash currencies we need to get the Agera RS maxed out. A really nice gesture.
All in all I think the Codin SE is one of the better SE in the last few months. There are flaws in the SE but it's decent enough. I also think the disappointment comes from the fact that Codin hyped the SE up a bit too much (at least that's the case for me).

I think most people complaining are those who didn't unlock davinci or wasn't even playing the game when the car was available

Nah i got stuck at the third stage😂, but whats even more sad is i got stuck on the ds8 with my two star diablo gt, hopefully ir the next six days i am going to requesting for the wild cards by club and able star it up, gosh i feel like ds8 is a game of luck 😂
Well, the only issue is that newer players like me are locked from getting certain items. For example, I'd like to get Bps and eips for the Arrinerra, Corvette GS, Panamera, 600lt and LaFerrari; I don't really care about the Agera RS for now. This said, I can't do that despite having all the cars at 4* plus because I don't have the Italdesign Davinci. The conditions are also very tight. This has been happening in almost all the SEs: they give old players things that they don't need, while blocking new players from the things they need. Very few people are happy in he end.
That's kinda true from a general pov, maybe some events more focused on newcomers could be appreciated
@@CarsOnGaming My opinion as well. These events are excellent for old players, but they just widen the gap that newer players have to cover to keep up since they can't really participate.
Comparing codin SE with the previous SE, Codin one is slightly better. Just think about the supports for Concept S, Deus and 300+ 🥶🥶

You are comparing a free car (agera rs) of which we could easily have some extra bp with a car that if or if it had was p2w (300+ ss) for me this codin event is worse.
The event is good, cause as a relatively new player those 2 free eips for the lotus elise sprint are just fire

The Lotus Elise Eips are easy to get. Also, the eips don't influence the Lotus Elise's performance as much as it does with other cars in higher classes, so you mostly don't need them.
The feeling of having it gold is great for a not so skilled player like me
Guess I'm not the only one thinking about this concern... I also got the 2 missing epics parts and was able to max gold that Elise.
I've been playing A9 for merely 2 years and didnt have any davinci bps. I got my panamera maxed from riot as f2p, for 600lt i 3*d it from ds and as for imola its bps were very frequently obtainable and i managed to unlock it this se with st. I had Agera RS at 3* before se.
As Codin SE started, i had to spend 4k tokens to unlock Davinci aswell as 4* my 600lt. So if u had max panamera then spending a bit of tokens to unlock davinci would be enough to progress in the SE, as i got to last stage from that point.
I wouldn't say its an unfair se since u dont have insane requirements like the usual gameloft tomfoolery to get to the last stage and all cars were basically free to obtain with their bps in the se aswell.
Truege
The only issue with this SE lays in panamera and Davinci, panamera had only one key hunt so not everyone could’ve gone for it and then Davinci was absolutely gone from the game for over a year. Like i have maxed imola and 600LT yet I can’t get eips as my Davinci is 3* and panamera 2* meaning I’m 6 conditions away from McLaren stage 🫠
Wild Cards and luck with packs it is
Even the packs are F2P-friendly compared to your today's average SE.
Most SEs nowadays require a shit ton of conditions to access packs, and the conditions are locked requiring multiple P2W/obscure cars at 2-3 stars. But for Agera RS packs, you need an F2P king car at 1 star, that's it.
"F2P king car at 1 star,". Let's not pretend Imola is a f2p king. It's not even available in Legend Store. BTW, I have a 2 stars Imola because I spent tokens on it.

For anyone new to this game the answer is NO ,this game is not worth playing anymore ,it's extremely rigged and it involves years of grinding ,the current car hunt for example involves 1.000 races in 6 days ,they say that's the magical number needed to max the car but you'll barely get close to unlock it . Gameloft's system works like a subscription ,if you pay they make sure you get decent cars ,if you pay a lot they make sure you get good cars ,if you whale out and make sure to pay as much as possible you will get to enjoy the game entirely ,but as a free-to-play you will get the bare minimum (maybe) and not even when the cars are "fresh out the box", you will get your hands on the car like in 1-2 years ,races are also rigged ,so even if you get the best car early on you need to play 24/7 like a lifeless twat to "master it" ,it's an evil company and sh1tty game ,a waste of time and no satisfaction ,anyone else defending this game or company are either obsessed or employees ,others are just making a buck and promote it .

For the most part I agree, the event is not that bad. Now I'm playing for over 3,5 years and have over 200 cars so at this point I can participate in most events and get at least to 50-60%.
For this event I had all cars and only had to max out the DaVinci (3*), 600LT (4*) and to get all epics the Agera RS. I had it 3* from the Clash store but stopped buying bps when the I learned this car would get a SE. I was aiming to get it to 4* but actually managed to max it out today. I got to 4* just from the SE, spend 45k ST on maxing out the DaVinci and 600LT and 90k ST + 7200 tokens to max out the Agera RS. I got 11 epics from the SE (maybe 1 from leaderboard position and 1 from LP). This makes it my highest ranking car to day (was LVN but with only 2 epics).
For me as a TD player (let's not discuss this please, it's tiring) this is probably one of the best S class cars. It is a bit slower than the Jesko (which I also have but also only with a few epics) but it has much better handling (almost 25% more) and also seems to have a good drift radius. Planned to use it mainly for ghost slipstream but this might be a good overall S car even for an at best average TD player.
But, I do agree also a bit with the complaints. If you don't have the DaVinci, you get blocked pretty soon. At least you should be able to play at least with the basic cars. Also I think the Imola block on the packs is weird. I do agree the car has been available several times, but never was supereasy to get - you always had to have tokens and/or meet specific requirements. The event could have been a bit more generous even to lower level players without "giving" away the Agera RS.
One way or another, we would have ended up at the "why can't I unlock the Agera RS" point
For me it's actually a good SE. It boosts my Agera BPs to 5* from 3* since I already have every support cars. Except Imola, ofc. And not to mention 10+ guaranteed epics _😎_

By far it is the best seasonal event . And many players are acting like crybabies why they add daVinci .
Well if you have other cars then why not spend 18k seasonal tokens to unlock daVinci and move on to the next stage.
If you don't have other cars too then you should buy the packs with tokens ( either seasonal or blue tokens) . The 600lt is the good car for jungle mps and classic mp ( even in ghost too). The panamera ,is c elite car and very good c class car . Then it's well known that Imola is the king of the A class. And don't forget Agera RS is a high rating car and it's fortunate that they are having a special event for it .
If there would be no twist in the event why not just demand Gameloft to provide Agera RS blueprints for free. If you have all cars at stock 1 star then directly buy the Agera RS packs .But don't waste this opportunity to unlock the Agera RS. It's better to spend seasonal tokens on trash car ( DaVinci) to unlock Agera RS than to spend clash coins which is the rare and exclusive currency in A9.

But if you are an old player then you had every opportunity to have 600lt ( from DS7) , panamera from its legendary car hunt and well imola also had its special daily event 1-2 months ago . You must praise Codin and Gameloft for the current DS8 and Agera RS event( well the Battista SE is surely a tough nut to crack ,ngl). And all the whining is for a shit car that you can have after spending 2400 tokens or 27k seasonal tokens. When you can have a car for a small bargain why not make a negligible sacrifice. It's not like you want Ultima. It will also have a legendary car hunt and I'm sure you will have to spend about 50k-60k seasonal tokens just to 3* it . And in that amount why not go for A class king or c class king or a top notch Koenigsegg .

You guys talking about 1v1 event..but I have been playing this game for one and half year and i didn't saw such events and i had 0 blueprints of this car.. when i started opening packs of davinci there were only x4 blueprint per x10 packs event featured items were with 20% drop rate..and lets talk about imola..imola was in BOS speed and in unleashed event but required cars for unleashed event were not easy..so it's totally unfair to say that even free to play players who have playing this game game for 1-2 years have it golden.. anyway no complaint about this...but very unfair when you are blocked at start of event due to that davinci car.
I was lucky that the only car I didn't have is the DaVinci. Opening it sent me all the way. Too easy. Got my Agera 5* from clash, now 6* plus 10+ epics? What a steal.

For the event itself I'm stuck at stage 2 since as a F2P who started 2 years ago I don't even have a single bp for the Davinci (rip Panamera EIPs), but for the packs, I first planned to save my almost 15k tokens for the hunts (5* Victor, max Puritalia, GT4, 004C, EB110) and to unlock the Imola with STs, but I eventually spent 11k tokens and 50k STs to 4* the Imola from halfway to unlock it (I got some insane luck)
So now ig I'll just unlock the Victor for free tokens and STs in the showcases then use the remaining tokens to max the Puritalia, 004C, GT4 and EB110

I agree with what you said you can play this event easily even if you don't play for a long time like me playing from just a year and half, packs drops are really good i easily 3 stars my 600lt from 1 star i unlocked and 2 stars the imola and i'm almost unlock the davinci because i wasn't back then when 1v1 tournament was in to the game and i'm glad i have the panamera already unlocked

I've been playing this game everyday for the past 3 years and getting any car that is free regardless good or trash. Codin SE is the easiest for someone that has been playing for years. I have all the cars and able to get all epics. Only need to spend 4.5k blues to maxed. Those who complained not having the cars are those that choose what car they wanted even though it's free. It doesn't matter if the car is good or trash because you will never know when it is needed for any SE.
Facts
If it doesn’t access me to the car then no show no go for me especially for Bautista. It’s a generally good step but it’s worth mentioning that would be considerate that not everyone have the cars required in those events. It would’ve been best if it was people that everyone so that literally everybody progress in Asphalt 9 Legends.

Tbh, it has to be one unfair from players who never had a chance to get DaVinci from the 1v1 MP event from 2 years ago (or more).
At that time, i couldn't even play the game since i used to deal with an old android phone that can't even go at 20 fps least (because budget). I started A9 on an Emulator in 2021 then stopped, continued on a Huawei Nova 2 then stopped because low graphics and fps sucks due to the poor processor, and finally back in 2023 on Google phone that can handle the game very well.
But let's get real, if they wanted many players to enjoy this SE, they should have continued this 1V1 MP 'til today.

Imola ain't easy for us f2p players since we don't have too many tokens. I was able to unlock only jesko by spending 40k tokens and then 20k tokens on regera and Chiron. So how do you expect f2p to unlock imola?
F2p players shouldn't spend their precious tokens on the Regera or the Chiron... maybe then they could have gotten the Imola which featured in unleashed and multiple BoS seasons
I'm f2p and unlocked and maxxed Imola with the 40k you used to get Jesko, you just spent on others cars

Imola at 39/70 from being unlocked.
Don't even have a single Agera RS Blueprint since my Club is too many members short to compete in Clash after they implemented the "10 Players, Level 10" minimum requirement after the initial testing phase.
Despite the Davinci, 600LT and no Imola, there are still very good rewards still available to collect with the other MAX Cars so I'm satisfied with what I can get in the meantime.
The DaVinci really makes me miss the 1v1 MP mode that used to be alongside MP2. Very fun like A8 Gauntlet. 😏

Thanks to this event I can gold my Agera RS .. previously at 4* before this season.. and also I maxed my 5* Imola ... I am satisfied because I only spent 6.3k tokens buying the remaining bps because the event only gives 46, and 12 epic import parts, with the one in the legend pass, I only have to buy 3 epics in the clash store, thankfully I have saved all my hard earned 30k clash tokens... This season I can also get golden Battista, very good for classic... I cannot unlock the Devel (not even the F5 ☹) but I will get 2 golden S class cars.. not bad

I started playing in 2022 and I never saw an event where I could get the Davinci, I could spend resources to max it out but it's not worth it for me, maybe because it's a community manager event I would have expected a more accessible event, but I guess Gameloft gave the last word.
Davinci wasn't super hard to max if you played a couple years before you arrived at the game, same as it's not massively expensive to unlock from the current packs

It is good event cuz main packs dosnt depend for example 250 conditions to be unlocked! So i forget davinci and going after imola or agera rs.
I only think that this game is just for old players, new players have a very few chances to even play this kind of events, that is sad and so unfair, I remember this in 2020 when I started playing it but now I can enjoy a little bit more.
Yo cuando me enteré de este evento pensé que tendría la oportunidad de sacar el auto , aunque se me borró la sonrisa cuando un chico en discord le pregunto a Codin los requisitos (en ese momento no se sabía que autos iban a pedir) a lo que el solo respondió que si querías un buen auto clase S tenía que gastar dinero , yo dije ok quizás sea como los demás eventos hago 200 objetivos en el evento y compro los pack , ya estaban filtrados los autos que pedía y solo pensé , quizás con ST lo desbloquee y ya lo subo por mi cuenta en la tienda del clase no hay problema, al llegar los sobres solo ví que me pedía tener el Imola y solo pensé en efecto un BoS sale más rentable
Pero la cosa es que el Imola en si aparecio multiples veces en el juego

The event is unfair because it locks the latter stages with Agera RS epics behind rare cars. Basically it forces players to spend tokens on cars they don't need/want. Why would someone waste tokens on DaVinci, a D class car? What if someone already has one of those required cars at max, to risk getting only trade coins? Also how is someone who owns Agera RS supposed to get the epics? That being said, at least they sold Agera RS packs for blue tokens, unlike the past Gemera and Imola events.
Agera is only a worse version of the Jesko: if you don't think this is your event, just save clash coins and tokens as everyone and get either Agera RS or a Jesko key with them

@@CarsOnGaming man if i had no life outside of a game i wouldn't even complain about the requirement car, but as everyone i do other things during the day, i don't have the time to grind a car hunt (panamera) that came for one week 10 months ago or a 1v1 car that came in 2020.
You from the opposite side didn't have to grind these things because you traded the time of grinding for money, witch is a fair trade in your case cause you are an official creator, but it doesn't change the fact that as said in the patch notes this SE should have been "easy" for a car that in any case is completly free to play.
What would you recommend for my Jesko? because after this event I was very indecisive and the reason for this was agera was weakened. Something inside me tells me to leave the agera and head for the jesko. Because I can only buy one card a week, otherwise I'll run out of money quickly. I have a lot of time until I open Jesko and I don't really want to open it with a single star, I think I will get closer to 3 stars in this time. Agera is very fast at maximum, as fast as stock Jesko, but if I do as you say, Agera is still a long way from reaching 6 stars, and since upgrading Agera increases its values too much, I doubt it can compete with Jesko at low stars. My opinion is this way. From now on, I want to spend my clash money on Jesko cards and save the tokens for the key. If I do this, will it be more harmful?

Hi cars on, so i was just recently played the Mutiplayer of the agera rs, so i got the Mercedes benz 2022 showcar vision amg and the car is really, really fair and not really good. I tryed it on daily events and i was losing everytime with the car.
Because it's not a good car, the vision is a car meant to be used to complete the DS
The event is great if you have the cars. Sucks if you don’t. I have been playing 6 months so missed the davinci and Porsche. Stuck on stage 2.
That said, I did spend all my tokens on the imola and have that at 6 stars with no epics. Pretty happy about that.

Agreed, this is easily one of the best SE's in the game, every 'active' player I know who plays regularly f2p and p2w loves it.
Free epics of support cars, good currencies, tons of bps. What more can you ask for. Davinci and imola are ez requirements for most.

i think this event is fine and is my fault
a lot of the cars featured either arent that expensive, or have popped up a bunch of times

My bro, please help me, what do you think I should do? I have imola with 19 cards and locked, agera with 35 cards and locked. I have 43k season tokens 40k tokens 6800 clash coins 9300 clash tokens (saving for jesko key) and I don't have a very good a and s class car. Jesko has 6 cards and 1 star. Normally, I want to spend my tokens by saving them for the Bos event that will be held next summer. Do you think I should not spend anything, just open locks, or should I spend all my tokens? I'm already thinking of spending tokens for ultima rs. I don't want to lose too many tokens. I'm afraid to spend a single token for Venom or Devel if they come out in the future, but I think we can buy special packages for these vehicles when we complete a certain number of conditions in the season event, not directly in the package, and this means a lot of coins.
Save for that Jesko key with clash tokens and spend the clash credits on Agera RS bps, don't focus on this event then

Think about it this way, codin had to benefit both players & company at same time
so players got half benefits while company had half
but yeah unlocking 4 cars & starring them to max is just too match & consumes lotsa tokens
But there are other good events like STARWAY & CAR HUNT ...etc.

Codin literally just copied Year of the Beast. He even didn’t released the relay events during the end of each season. Meaning the main cars if the season can give blueprints of the featured car. I did liked driving this car since it performs like the Tuatara. So I don’t know why this even exists, other than Codin making himself look cool after recalling 1 DS car key and not doing the others from DS3-DS6. So I hope Switch devs could make a better dedicated SE than whatever that is. One more thing, where’s the clash coins?
He didn't release any relay event because he's not a dev, but the guy who conveys the community requests to the devs, and at the end the devs can decide to effectively ignore them or not. It's not that complicated

Any other devs watching, here’s a Dr1ftMnkY top tip, if you place a clash car as an SE, place the clash coins to progress the other cars. You can place them as DLC, for God’s sake you can make them obtainable.

If one doesn't have a single car out of cars that were mostly available for FREE, why should he expect to get a much better high S class car? Idk, but that sounds fair to me.
This event favors those who play the game more frequently, have more time to play or invest in the game, so I would say it sort of... unfair, espacially the davinci, as the event is a long while ago, in a event that favors manual players even more

I was a td player started in feb 2021, and by feb 2022 i had max davinci by making sure I always played on time and learned the map routes, even implemented a bit of hybrid. Dont use the td excuse.
Now I am manual, but the td days were still fun and not as bad as you claim.

im not even going to go into the imola like it hasn't returned in 3 burst of speeds, like what were they fucking off doing during those times
and all this crying is over the Agera RS, a 300mph+ car literally up there with the SSC, LVN, Nevera, Jesko etc. in terms of ranking & peformance - one of the best value cars in the game. if 30 davinci bps is too much for it thats fine by me, they can enjoy slaving RS bps for the next year with clash currencies
fun fact CarsOn the main car was initially going to be Tushek (which is why he initially hinted it as DS exclusive) , but was later upgraded to Agera RS, so this is an even better than it was intially planned to be haha

Oh please! you're the last person who should be commenting on this. You can spend thousands on this game when it's not even needed. Obviously you don't understand the struggle of a common man. You saying "It's not expensive" doesn't make sense at all. I spent 70k season tokens and 3k tokens to get the davinci to 2* only. This is ridiculous that they are forcing players to spend on a shitty car to progress in the SE. I understand if you look at the rewards you gain, ultimately the spending will be justified. It's not the worst SE, it's definitely one of the better ones. But for people who have to grind a lot to save tokens (and not just throw dollars and buy from the bank), it's not a cheap or easy SE. People are complaining because of the Davinci. If it was another car which more of the playerbase would have had, there would have been less noise about it. Or if it was a rare but decent car, people would have been okay spending tokens on it. But it's very sadistic of Codin to keep a car which most people don't have, to lock them out of the SE.
Then you better go to the court and sue Codin because there are more chances of you getting something from that than me not speaking of whatever the f I want man :)
