- 2 Colors worsted weight yarn, size 4 medium (Big Twist yarn in Varsity Orange and I Love This Yarn in white was used for tutorial)

Stitch Key (US Terms)
CH - Chain
SS - Slip stitch
SC - Single Crochet
DC - Double Crochet
YO - Yarn Over
Round 1: Varsity Orange
-CH4 + SS to beginning CH (this creates a ring you will be working into
-CH 3 + 10 DC into ring created (10DC total plus CH3)
-SS to top of beginning CH3
Round 2:
-CH3
-2DC into every stitch (20DC total plus CH3)
-Switch to white yarn on last DD
-SS to top of CH3
Round 3: White
-CH3
-1SC into next stitch + 2SC into next stitch* (30SC total plus CH1)
-Repeat from *-** until end of round switching back to Varsity Orange on last SC
-SS to beginning of CH1
~cut white yarn leaving a 3 foot tail. This will be used to embroider the citrus segments later)
Round 4: Varsity Orange
-CH3
-1DC into each of the next 2 stitches + 2DC into next stitch*
Repeat from *-** until end of round (40DC total plus CH3)
-SS to top of beginning CH3 and fasten off orange.
~Weave in all but 3 foot yarn tail
