  • The US and China are pursuing more engagement and communications but not more trust, says Ian Bremmer, president and founder of Eurasia Group, a risk advisory firm. He tells Bloomberg Television that relations between Washington and Beijing are "getting worse quite slowly," however, both sides "know each other's red lines."

Why does the US keep sending his court jesters to beg? Yellen, Blinken, any other clowns

They are not court jesters you silly clown, the US Treasury department CRUSHED and DESTORYED the British Empire. The US Treasury is the most powerful entity in the world, they control the US Dollar which is how the Chinese economy operates selling goods to the world using the US Dollar. The US Treasury is the BOSS of the world, be careful who you call a jester. The US Treasury destroyed the British Empire, the Japanese Empire, the Spanish Empire, do you realize how powerful the US Treasury is?

The USA has no issues at all those are all minor and far away. If the middle east goes in to total war it is not an issue for the USA becasue the USA is 100% oil independent today it is a problem for China however as most Chinese oil is IMPORTED from the middle east . So then China will need to go and help wars in the middle east, good luck with that.

Tension escalating, with weapon able to hit China city.
This mean China can setup the same in Cuba.
2024-4-17 China has accused the United States of “stoking military confrontation” with the recent deployment of a powerful missile launcher capable of firing weapons with a range of up to 1,600 kilometers to exercises in the Philippines.
It’s the first-ever deployment of the MRC missile system, also known as the Typhon system, to the Indo-Pacific theater, and it comes amid a series of US-Philippine military exercises, including the largest-ever edition of the annual bilateral Balikatan drills beginning Monday.

The US is occupying the #1 position, and is in no way willing to relinquish it to a wannabe China. The water was calm when China was lagging behind, leaving the #1 spot all to the US. Now the US looks back, and it doesn't like what it sees, that China is fast catching up to it !
As long as there is the struggle for that #1 spot, the US would be trying its very best to put obstacles in front of China to slow it down. Now whether such strategy has any merit, or in act is successful, you be the judge.
