Eileen McKenna, the little girl, was also the first pre-teen Breck (shampoo) girl. She later became an advertising agency executive. Sadly, she died of cancer in 2014 at age 61.
I wonder if she's the same girl who's in the Candid Camera episode "Funny Phone Message". They're about the same age and she hit's her head when she says, "I forgot it".
First machine I was trained on when I joined Rank Xerox(British distributor for Xerox in the Commonwealth). The 914 later became the 420, then 422, then the 720 and finally the 1000 which used quartz lamp fusing instead of oven fusing. The later models were slightly faster. Paper would catch fire if jammed in the fusing area but there was never an office fire that I know of from that. Really can't fault that since that was the technology of the time.
as a copier tech I would love to open up one of those machines and work on it. The lack of fragile plastic parts and a designed life span of 5 years would be very interesting to compare to todays machines.
MMWA I remember having a drug store near my house with one of these in it. It's weird thinking of the days when they were that big and getting a copy meant leaving your house at all!
o that brings me back my dad worked for big wigs and for x-mas he wanted one but they where 75$ it was allot back then jest a snickers bar bigger than the new bite size ones was jest 2c. but me and ma worked up the $ for it i shined shoes a nickel a shoe mom worked all day and night at the locale cafe but through the time we got him one he was so happy

There was another version of this broadcast in 1971-1972. It showed Debbie as a grown Woman demonstrating the newest Xerox copier the same way that she did this one. Is that 1971-72 commercial available?

He said it prints the first copy in less than a minute, and then seven copies per minute after that, lol. They've come a long way!
Consider the old way - photography with film - that would take about a day.
